"Alright! I've said everything that needs to be said. Next, we start moving immediately. We're heading north, as it's still relatively close to the exit." When Master Zhichu arrived, he roughly surveyed the terrain. This is a manor located quite far north, and as seen before, it's only a short distance from the areas not covered by the Evil Qi.

However, the Evil Qi is always expanding, so Master Zhichu now has no idea where it has spread to.

If it's the same as before, then it will be easy to get out. If it has expanded a lot, we will just move slowly. After all, Master Pingchu has plenty of spiritual power; enduring for a day or two won't be an issue.

So Ye Tianfan advanced to pick up the banners and quickly flew towards the front Array.

Earlier, Master Pingchu had given Ye Tianfan an Array Banner that allowed him to traverse Arrays at will. Thus, Ye Tianfan stepped into the Array without any ripples and, after handing the banners to Master Pingchu, flew to the rear of the group and stood still.

Because the next Array to be withdrawn was located right where Ye Tianfan was now standing.

Just then, Ye Tianfan heard footsteps behind him, and he turned to see many of the lowest-level demons with powers only between the second and third levels of the Profound Manifestation.

As these demons got closer, some survivors also heard the hurried footsteps, and when they turned, they saw many demons charging toward them.

The survivors began to scream in terror.

Master Zhichu witnessed this scene, furrowed his brow, gathered his spiritual power to his throat, and spoke in a voice that wasn't loud but could reach everyone's ears, "Do not panic, everyone. We are very safe here. If you panic, you will delay our departure. Any delay means prolonged exposure to these undead creatures, so everyone should act as if they don't exist outside and keep moving."

The survivors, hearing Master Zhichu's words, started to calm down gradually and resumed walking in an orderly fashion.

Meanwhile, Ye Tianfan watched boredly as the demons futilely gnawed at the Array wall.

Then, suddenly, the parts of the Array wall that the demons were gnawing on vanished, causing the demons to fall over.

Just as Ye Tianfan was about to gather the Array Banners, he saw the demons rushing towards the banners.

Seeing this, Ye Tianfan hurried forward to collect the banners.

Once Ye Tianfan retrieved all the banners, he noticed the demons had failed to bite the banners and began biting the exterior of the Mysterious Yellow Tower.

Ye Tianfan felt nauseated seeing the demons' corrosive saliva and thought that next time, when retrieving banners, he should be quicker, retrieve them, and deliver them promptly. Otherwise, watching the demons biting would be enough to make one feel sick.

Shaking his head, Ye Tianfan swiftly flew into the next Array and handed over the banners to Master Pingchu, then once again flew to the back of the Array, waiting for it to dissipate.

Those higher-level demons weren't as bad since they didn't drool corrosive saliva.

The demons began gnawing on the Array wall again, and their blackish-green drool flowed down the walls, which made Ye Tianfan feel a bit queasy. Although he wanted to ignore them, their constant presence made it impossible not to notice.

At that moment, the Array wall disappeared, and Ye Tianfan hurried to retrieve the banners, but was slightly late.

He saw a demon about to bite a banner. Regardless of whether the demon could bite it, the disgusting saliva made Ye Tianfan reluctant to touch the banner.

Ye Tianfan immediately summoned the Fire Lotus Sword and thrust it forward. Of course, the Fire Lotus Sword was enveloped in flames, as Ye Tianfan wouldn't let it directly touch the demons—too disgusting.

After driving the demon far away, Ye Tianfan retrieved the last banner, flew to the Array's center, and returned the banner to Master Pingchu.

Master Zhichu noticed Ye Tianfan's actions and asked from below, "Nephew Tianfan, how far is it to the edge of the Evil Qi's coverage?"
