"Oh my, so you weren't the usual bootlicking servant," I muttered as I set down my foot which I had placed against the man's neck.

It was the same man who had announced some things in the beginning, and he had stopped me from killing a guard that tried to put me in my place.

"Forgive me, would you like me to rid her of your sight?" The man asks the empress.

"No, she's a useful asset who just needs some training,"

I gave the empress a tiny smirk as the weak knight returned to his position while the servant stood at the empress' side.

"All ten of you follow me. The rest of you will be led by the knights and servants to the barracks, and if you dare to act up in my palace, I swear I'll get rid of you myself," The empress said in such a cold tone that the air almost froze.

After sighing a bit in disappointment as I was hoping for some more commotion to stir up, I followed the empress, who led us all down the hallway and into an arena.

Everybody was a bit surprised, but that soon turned to excitement as the empress snapped her fingers and her dress had disappeared with some formal fighting attire placed on her body.

Damn… she has curves.

You could call it an hourglass figure since her hips were wide and her chest was large while also having such flawless skin… any man would drool over her.

"Raize, step up first. You're going to melt my entire arena before you even get to spar with me," The empress smirked, and Raize, the large giant-kin, was fuming in anger.

The air around him boiled, so I took a step away in order to not get caught in the crossfire as even the stone floor was turning to lava.

"Just what I wanted," He muttered as I stepped forward with a large smile, but before he could even stretch, the empress smashed him into the ground… without even using a hint of magic.

"Is that all you weaklings have? Did I make a mistake turning you into my dogs?" She taunted us, and everybody had a vein popping out of their forehead.

As she stretched out her wrist, the number one ranked guy stepped up with a large ear-to-ear grin which made everybody shiver in fear.

It was clear he was on a different level than everybody else.

"Oh, so you were the one meant to be my dog… I hope you can even impress me, or I might even consider disposing of you now," The empress smirked, but the number one ranked guy didn't even get agitated.

He just looked extremely excited and ready to fight the empress with all his might… but, uhhhhhh….

"Woof woof, bitch-"

BAM

He was also slammed into the ground, but he was able to prevent himself from being knocked out by cushioning himself with shadows that cradled his head.

"Damn, I hate people like you. Starting right off the bat… don't you have any manners?!" He shouted before summoning sword darkness and puncturing it straight through the empress.

Huh? Did she die just like that? No, that can't be right-... ah, I see.

Suddenly, a tall white figure pushed me out of the way with such grace that I couldn't even feel her coming.

As soon as she touched me, it felt as if a mountain had knocked me over, but I was thankfully caught by the dude next to me, who was in just as much shock as me.

"Impressive… Impressive. Those movements are fast… were you properly trained by the demons? Maybe you were in special ops?" The tall white figure said, and her face suddenly turned towards us.

It was the empress, and she looked much more arrogant, cocky, and an overall dick than before…

"Meh… why should I tell you?" He said, and the man looked as if he had already expected this to happen or something.

"Lucy, was that your name? Come up here. You wanna have a taste as well, right?" The empress beckoned me, and her gesturing hand almost made her seem harmless.

"Oh, uhhhhh… Nah, I'm good," I responded as I didn't want to get my ass beat right now, but it seemed I had no choice as the woman continued to taunt me.

"Did all of that big talk from earlier just get up and leave? You looked so arrogant and carefree, but now you just look like a loser," She said, and everybody was a bit surprised by her immaturity since she was, of course, the empress.

"Nope, you proved your strength. I'll serve under you until you set us free, or I get the chance to kill you or something like that," I shrugged as the man who caught me helped me to my feet.

I brushed off the dirt, and when I looked at the empress, I noticed she wasn't happy with my answer.

"Well, a good dog should bark for her master, right?"

She smirked, and her taunt seemed to work as I was practically about to burst from anger as the woman walked toward me.

"What are you, a pervert? Go do that with your husband or something," I waved her off, but suddenly, she cupped my chin with her hand and placed her arm around my waist before tilting me back.

"Oh, am I not attractive enough?" She asked, and I took a glance towards behind her and saw the first ranked man had a nose bleed.

"I knew it. You were a pervert," I muttered before trying to push her away and suppress my blush.

"Oh, my… is my little puppy blushing?" She teased me as she held a tight grip on me, and I was completely unable to move.

"Go away! I already have a girlfriend!" I shouted, but she continued to persist… it almost felt like I was struggling against a brick wall.

"Well, that's not good. Then… is it this woman over here? Cora, was it? Then I guess if I kill her, you will shatter to pieces… that would be amusing to watch," She whispered into my ear with a sadistic smile that made me shiver in fear.

What is up with this bitch?!
