"Now, let's get you all cleaned up, you dirty masochist,"

After our fun little time, we cuddled for the rest of the day until Clio and Ethel dragged both of us out for a nice dinner.

I was also approached by Cora, who received a message from the Empress for both of us to return, making me frown quite a bit.

"It has to be a trap, right?" I asked Cora, who sat across from me at our fancy dinner table.

Ethel, Clio, and Mia just sat there, relaxing and eating their crazy expensive dinner, which we essentially got for free due to my title as a commander.

"It has to be. There is no way she would want us to come back unless she's forgiven you… which I highly doubt. I feel like we should still go back, though… thoughts?"

"I agree. Even if it is a trap, we have the power to defend ourselves and even have one of the dukedoms indebted to us. They're not indebted to the kingdom, but us who decided to help with the aftermath and save as many people as possible…."

"Oh yeah, the duke was sucking up to you yesterday, wasn't he? That was quite the amusing sight," Cora slightly chuckled before taking a bite of the steak in front of her.

Her eyes lit up as the juices flowed through her mouth and the amazing taste of the perfectly medium-rare steak stimulated her brain.

She took a sip of the wine sitting right next to her plate, and once again, her eyes lit up as the flavors perfectly mingled together.

"Alright. We'll gather our forces tomorrow and head out during the afternoon. The dark elves will be active around that time, and that will help draw out some of the remaining ones… it's best to make sure this dukedom doesn't get raided or chipped away by some puny monsters," I muttered, and Cora just nodded before digging into her steak once again.

"Anyway, the dukedom is holding a pool party tonight at around 10. It goes all the way till the morning, and both of us were invited… so, shall we go together?" Cora smirked, testing the waters with my sisters, who just shrugged.

"They're not gonna fall for your provocation if that is what you were hoping for," I chuckled as Cora pouted with disappointment.

"Wait, a pool part?" Clio suddenly spoke up. "A pool party in this frigid weather?"

"Well, it's more like a hot spring than anything. It's a shared one where everybody has to wear bathing suits for obvious reasons,"

"Why not?" I shrugged. "But, is there a possibility that we can bring my sisters? I want to spend some quality time with them,"

"Yeah, we can bring a plus-two. So, I'll bring my girlfriend and one of them," Cora shrugged, making Clio's jaw drop.

"What the fuck… since when were lesbians so common?" Clio muttered in disbelief.

"I don't know…. Anyway, we should get going. Even though it's invitation only, the line to get in is apparently very long," Cora announced before scarfing down her steak and chugging the entire glass of wine.

Everybody soon finished up their dinners as well before we tipped a heavy bit of money for our wonderful waiter and soon left the establishment.

Well, it was more like we paid the waiter instead of the restaurant since everything that we ordered was probably the same amount as our tip.

Being a commander makes you pretty wealthy as it's an extremely hard job, and I doubt that tundra snake cares about giving me her pocket change.

After a half an hour walk, we finally arrived at the large getaway house with the driveway filled with carriages and tons of nobles.

There had to be at least fifty people lined up, and that was before it even opened, so it was guaranteed to be longer, much later.

It took another half an hour for us to enter the massive mansion where everyone was already in bathing suits.

Most men and women were pretty old as they were all nobles, but their children, who were around our age, were very beautiful and handsome.

"Geez… I'm gonna… be back," Clio muttered before swiftly disappearing into the crowd in order to pick up some men.

We all shuffled into the shower room, where everybody began to change, and it seemed all of our "wounds" from last night hadn't healed as we drew lots of attention.

"Geez, you didn't have to suck so hard," I muttered as I attempted to cover the hickeys along my chest and stomach with my free hand.

"Oh yeah?" Mia smirked before twirling around to show me long scratches across her back. "Look what you did to my back. I was barely teasing you, and this is how it ended up," She chuckled, and as I quickly elbowed her gut to make her shut up, Cora and Ethel both smirked at each other.

"Seems you all had your fun," The dark elf said before spinning around in the mirror wall, inspecting her cute bikini.

As soon as we all finished changing into our cute swimsuits and left the shower room, we were approached by a squad of handsome young men.

But, we quickly declined their offers to chat with us and made our way into the hot spring, hurting their pride, and I swear I heard one of them whine as they walked away.

"I wonder where Clio went," I sighed before seeing her makeout with one of the nobles across the hot spring.

"How shameless," Cora chuckled before wrapping her arm around the dark elf's waist and bringing her closer to her.

Mia soon picked me up and placed me in her lap, massaging my shoulders as we all lightly chatted with each other.

"Oh, how is Athena? Has she been doing good?" I asked Ethel, who seemed a bit lonely as she blew bubbles in the hot spring.

"Yeah… she's been alright. We both had a little trip together a year ago where we traveled the world without any trouble… but, eventually, we ran into Astra and Nell, who we found in the underground city. From there, I had to get right back to work while Athena decided to help out Sophia with all of her work… she's been working hard, and I'm proud of her,"

"Who? Athena or Sophia?"

"Well, both, I guess. Sophia has become a bit too serious due to her work, but after opening up with some coffee and warm pastries, her original soft and caring personality began to bleed through."

"Oh… shit… I completely forgot about Tolf. How has it been going?"

"It was going a bit too good, to the point that the heroes began to strike down most of our followers, allowing some of the monster paradise to break through… It's gonna be a lot of trouble once they manage to squirm their way out… So, we've been cutting back on the monasteries and shit since we don't want the world to end,"

"Sounds like a pain,"

"It definitely was, but… it'll happen eventually. There are tons of accelerationists around the world trying to break the border between the monster paradise and the US… I mean, I understand them, but a bit of peace, for now, would be nice," Ethel shrugged.

"One last question… where are the other girls?"

"Back on Earth and some shit. They're growing very strong, to the point that we all might be the strongest monsters in the world… we could destroy countries if we wanted to now… A-rank heroes just don't do it for me anymore,"

"Oh? You fought some? How many?"

"A few hundred or so… I don't know. I barely came out of it alive, but that was before I evolved. Now, I can probably take out a thousand without much trouble,"

I was surprised because I was clawing my way through each battle here; while on earth, it was practically easy mode against all of those humans.

"Hey… what should we do if earth gets destroyed? I know our goal was to have an unyielding claw across the world, but right now, if we manage to kill the heroes… we could practically become gods," I muttered, and both Ethel and Mia grazed their eyes across me, displaying how they had already been thinking about this.

"That would be nice… but there is a problem worse than that. Remember how we lost contact with all the planets? Shouldn't we try and explore those?" Mia suggested.

"Nah… I have a feeling nothing will be there. In fact, traveling past our solar system will probably lead to nothing once again… It's like we're trapped in an igloo… an igloo of the gods,"

A long silence persisted through our group until Cora sliced through the silence.

"Hey, let's just enjoy our time here. I have no clue what you girls are talking about, but you're killing the mood. Let's have some more drinks and get some alcohol in our system… it's time to party!" Cora shouted before gesturing for a waiter to come over to us.

She grabbed five bottles of beer and tossed them all at us.

"Cheers!" She shouted.

"CHEERS!" We all shouted back before clinking bottles and downing the entire siwlring liquid of gluten.
