Seeing the familiar screen appearing in front of her, Scaly didn't hesitate as she unconsciously nodded her head while choosing to proceed with her evolution.

[Young Water Dragon]

[Requirement: Already a Water Dragon Hatchling]

[Description: The next evolution of the water dragon hatchling, the young water dragon. There isn't much of a change compared to the normal water dragon hatchling outside of the fact that the young water dragon can be considered far larger and is already close to becoming an adult dragon.

Because of this, although it isn't yet an adult dragon, the young water dragon has the ability to use its magic and wings to fly for a short duration of time. On the other hand, in water, the young water dragon has the ability to fly through the water at speeds far faster than other water-based monster.]

Reading through the first description of a monster that appeared in front of her when she decided to go through her evolution, Scaly could not help feeling somewhat shocked at the requirement that had been listed next to the evolution.

Compared to the past where only skills and her stats would appear inside the requirement, now a new thing had appeared, a requirement in terms of the evolution she had already gone through.

Outside of that, the young water dragon evolution also seemed to be far stronger than the past few times she had gone through her evolution where the first evolution would always be the weakest.

Maybe it was because she was now a dragon and anything she chose in terms of evolution would be powerful considering her identity as a dragon.

At least that was what Scaly thought until her attention turned towards the next evolution on the list that had appeared in front of her…

[Dragon Mole]

[Requirements: Dragon bloodline lvl 2, buried at least ten meters below ground while going through the evolution, Strength 100 or above.]

[Description: A large mole monster that spends most of its time living underground feasting on small insects and monsters it finds digging through the soil. Different from normal moles because of the dragon blood flowing through it. Making it larger than ordinary moles, though its vision is still just as bad.

Known for their skillful use of earth magic while digging through the ground, something that resulted in them being tamed by humans and other sentient races in construction of tunnels or other large-scale projects that require a lot of digging.]

Just reading through the shameful description of how they had been tamed by humans and other races was more than enough to make Scaly cross out the dragon mole as a potential evolution.

No matter how useful the earth magic of the dragon mole might be when it came to getting her out of her current dangerous situation, there was no way she was planning to give up her identity as a dragon to become nothing more than a little mole known for being tamed by humans and other races.

If she couldn't go through another evolution and go back to being a dragon after becoming a dragon mole, wouldn't that mean that she would end up being captured and tamed by the humans the moment she left the Howling Caverns Dungeon? She definitely couldn't allow herself to end up as a dragon mole no matter how desperate her situation was!

Nodding to herself as she thought about this, Scaly slowly turned her attention towards the next evolution on the list with a somewhat nervous expression on her face. Silently praying that it wouldn't be something similar to the dragon mole evolution that would take her away from her goal of becoming a powerful dragon…

[Flood Dragon]

[Requirements: Dragon Blood (Common Quality), Dragon Bloodline lvl 4, Dragon Water Magic lvl 1, Vitality 400 or above.]

[Description: The flood dragon is a mythical serpent-like monster said to be one of the closest descendants of the dragons themselves. Known for its ability to control water, causing floods or storms wherever it goes. Resulting in some less developed parts of the world worshipping the flood dragon as a deity. In turn, causing some flood dragons to reside in these less developed parts of the world.

Bringing about beneficial rain and helping deal with powerful monsters in exchange for offerings.

The flood dragon itself goes through several evolutions through its lifetime, each resulting in different changes to its outward appearance. From its length and size to the scales covering its body. Although a weaker flood dragon might not be too dangerous, a fully grown flood dragon is no less powerful than a fully grown dragon and is best avoided if possible.]

As she read through her third possible evolution, Scaly could not help silently breathing a sigh of relief.

Although the flood dragon evolution wasn't aligned with her goal of becoming a stronger dragon, it wasn't weak enough to disappoint her. Especially considering that the description had directly mentioned that a fully grown flood dragon was no weaker than an actual dragon.

Even if she ended up becoming a flood dragon, it wouldn't be that bad of an outcome, as it shouldn't be too hard to go back to being a dragon after she reached the limit of the flood dragon evolution given how closely related to the dragon race the flood dragon was.

Of course, if possible, Scaly wanted to avoid having to become a flood dragon and hoped that she would just be able to continue onwards as a dragon.

So, with that in mind, Scaly turned her attention towards the fourth choice on the list filled with anticipation.

[Ancient Servant Construct]

[Requirements: Magic 500 or above]

[Description: The ancient servant constructs are special monsters that were created in the ancient past, their creator remains unknown, but they are rumored to have been created by either a powerful magic kingdom that has long since ceased to exist or the ancient dragon.

According to top scholars across the world, the purpose of these ancient servant constructs has never been described in any ancient records and it remains a mystery to this day.

Only through brief encounters inside ancient ruins can they be found wandering about without any clear goal and often in a decayed state that leaves them weak enough for even the weakest of adventures to destroy.

Although, the large amount of mana inside their bodies suggest that they should have once been capable of wielding powerful magic before they ended up decaying to the point of barely being able to move.]

Not knowing what to say as she saw the ancient servant construct evolution that had popped up, Scaly decided to ignore as she turned her attention towards the last two evolutions on the list. Hoping that they would be better than the weird one that had popped up.

[Young Sea Dragon]

[Requirements: Dragon Blood (Common Quality), Dragon Bloodline lvl 4, Dragon Water Magic lvl 3, Dragon Breath (Water) lvl 1, Magic 500 or above.]

[Description: Not to be confused with the smaller counterpart living close to the coast that is only a few centimeters long, the young sea dragon is a terrifying creature that can only be found far off the coast in deep waters and is best avoided if possible.

Known to be stronger than the simple water dragon counterpart when it comes to its terrifying mastery of water magic, though far harder to find considering most sea dragons spent a majority of their lives beneath the water and rarely goes on land.

One of the reasons for this is not just that they prefer living in the water over on land, but also because sea dragons don't have wings like normal dragons and instead have fins on their bodies to assist them in moving more quickly through the water. Although… Legends about ancient sea dragon do talk about the powerful ones having the ability to fly through the use of some kind of unknown magic.]

[Young Tempest Dragon]

[Requirements: Dragon Blood (Common Quality), Dragon Bloodline lvl 4, Any Dragon Magic lvl 3 or above, Magic 500 or above.]

[Description: The young tempest dragon is a dragon species that has long since gone extinct outside of certain special dungeons where they might appear on the lowest floors of said dungeons. The young tempest dragon has a terrifying ability when it comes to using lighting, wind and water magic.

Not much is known about them due to just how rare they are and the fact that they can't be found outside of certain dungeons where they might not even appear in the first place.]

Finished reading through the last two options for her fourth evolution, Scaly could not help letting out a sigh of relief on the inside, both the Sea Dragon and Tempest Dragon evolutions were good options, as they were clearly powerful dragon evolutions, something she could tell just from the fact that one of the requirements was for her magic to reach 500, while another was for her dragon blood and a third her dragon bloodline…
