My Cyber Psychosis is Task Prompt

Chapter 205: Deadly Fall (Part 3)

Gino also expressed concern.

John shook his head to indicate everything was still alright.

They talked while running, and when they left the corridor, they saw the black supercar smoothly parked over the gentle slope ahead.

[Mission Objective Updated]

[Proceed to the ambush location to wait for Bismarck. (Not Achieved)]

Silver Rider 577 shuttled through Sakura Cross Street.

The chaos at the signal relay station alarmed many.

Municipal announcements and ECPD sirens first appeared on the streets, followed by Owl Town gang's lackeys guarding key positions against sneak attacks. Raqi Group's soldiers and investigation team also landed within the blockade in hovercars...

"Damn it, Internet Surveillance has moved."

Gino frowned tightly.

The authorities must have discovered the hackers at the signal relay station, and they would press Internet Surveillance soon enough.

"So are we just spinning our wheels?"

John drove the supercar, glancing at the copilot seat from the corner of his eye.

The sisal rope from the back seat nudged forward, telling them to relax.

Though this task was assigned to John by Serum, the entire Wanderer Alliance was helping behind the scenes.

Serum had just released a string of attack commands via the inserted terminal.

"Internet Surveillance is putting out fires everywhere, the cyberspace is in chaos, they can't figure out our real target yet, but we need to hurry up!"

Gino confirmed the boss's instructions.

Whoosh—

Police drones flashed red and blue lights, seemingly ready to shatter the colorful projections on Sakura Cross Street.

The Silver Rider supercar roared past.

On the wet black asphalt road, citizens maintained indifferent expressions, "silently" conversing despite the deafening advertisement noises.

[Eden City - Desert H2 Border Inspection Station]

The supercar climbed higher along the ring road.

The winding asphalt road grew desolate.

Going further up would lead to the municipal dam power station.

Here you could overlook the city night skyline:

A full industrial style view, surrounded by photovoltaic facilities within the fence, and further out, lonely wind power devices turned amidst the endless desert sand.

Few pedestrians and vehicles were around.

But many hovercars passed overhead.

John parked the car by a cliff edge.

He didn't leave the driver's seat.

Gino and the sisal rope got out quarreling, finding a brand new large sealed box beside a yellowed collapsed billboard.

Its presence here was abrupt.

It was clearly dropped off by a truck specifically.

The Wanderer Alliance was aiding this attack, with hacker Serum covering in cyberspace.

Whoosh.

Gino unlocked the sealed box.

A gap revealed azure light and thick white smoke.

[Weapon: Messiah - Queen Bee I5 Type]

[Module: EPM Gerry, High Precision Correction, Guided Launch Module [Unauthorized]]

John, sitting in the driver's seat, scanned and obtained the weapon information.

He had used this weapon when working for Oulos; it was a simplified version, much smaller than this spec, but it blasted the security robot to pieces in one shot, leaving a deep impression on him.

The sisal rope served as muscle, helping Gino set up the equipment.

It was like an astronomical telescope, equipped with an electric screw pile, and the program would drill it in place once started.

The downside was the obvious tracks.

After firing a shot, forget about quickly taking it away; it's likely to be abandoned.

The cannon's barrel was covered with complex aiming modules.

Electronic instruments and pipelines circled around and around.

Watching Gino tweak these complex pieces of equipment, John recalled his former colleagues in the Tiebang Logistics workshop, smoking and chatting—a demeanor of supreme confidence in their work.
