"Why did Kateya contact me so urgently? Did she also fail to break through the Fourth Ring herself and use the Breakthrough Dew to achieve it?" Lor harbored a bit of regret as he connected the communication.
After the Grand Council of Wizard Calendar Year 1500, he had given Kateya and Levan some Breakthrough Dew.
As for the other three students, he hadn't given them any yet, because he only had two bottles of Breakthrough Dew left.
A light screen unfolded in front of Lor's desk, with Kateya appearing quite excited on the other side, accompanied by a blonde-haired child.
"Hmm?!" At the moment Lor saw the child, he suddenly felt a bit dazed, as if he had once seen someone similar somewhere before.
Simultaneously, on the other side of the light screen, Kateya bent in a salute, then patted the small boy's shoulder beside her, congratulating with a smile: "Lord Lor, good news, this little genius passed the tenfold spatial distortion talent detection you set."
The moment Lor heard Kateya say that the small boy had passed his tenfold spatial distortion talent detection, it was like a lightning bolt flashed through his mind, instantly realizing why this boy felt familiar.
In his past life, the Seven-Ring Spatial Mage standing at the peak of the Wizard Alliance seemed to bear some resemblance in certain aspects to this boy.
Of course, it was only a slight resemblance; judging by appearance, there was no connection between the two, which was why he hadn't recognized it at first.
On the other side, Van, after following Kateya in a salute, looked at Lor on the other side of the light screen with a face flushed red, unable to hide his excitement.
Speaker Lor!
He was really seeing Speaker Lor right from across the screen.
Speaker Lor was also looking at him!
"What is your name?" Lor asked the little boy hesitantly.
Although he was nearly certain this boy wasn't the same as the great mage from his past life, he couldn't be entirely sure; what if that mage had altered his appearance over time?
The mysterious Path of Time, which he had only begun to grasp, meant he couldn't guarantee that the conclusions he previously reached from information disturbances were completely accurate.
"I...Lo...Speaker Lor, my name is Van, Fane Valentine." Van stammered.
He also wanted to present a calm demeanor, but facing the president of the Wizard Alliance, he truly couldn't remain calm!
Especially knowing there was a chance of becoming the president's student, it was even more so.
"Van..." A light, possibly of regret or relief, flickered across Lor's eyes, yet a smile appeared on his face as he asked, "So would you like to become my fifth student?"
As he had anticipated, Van was not the same as the Seven-Ring Spatial Mage from his past life.
Due to the series of events he enacted, that mage might never appear again.
Rationally speaking, he believed it was a bad thing, as the Wizard Civilization would lose a predestined Seven-Ring Spatial Mage.
But emotionally, he felt it was a good thing, as it indicated the future had indeed altered; even a Seven-Ring Mage could not be born into the world as he had changed it.
As for the similarities between Van and that mage from his past life, it was evidently due to a common trait between them.
That being an extraordinarily formidable spatial talent.
If this little fellow became his student, he might very well surpass the trailblazer of the Space Faction from his past life.
"Speaker Lor, I am willing!" Van bowed deeply without a moment's hesitation, not stammering at all this time.
"Still calling me Speaker Lor?" Lor's slightly amused tone reached Van's ears.
"Mentor," Van immediately corrected himself.
"Alright."
Lor nodded satisfactorily, then turned to Kateya nearby and said, "Prepare a Continent Communication Device for Van, so he can contact me anytime."
"And please arrange a banquet, invite Levan and the others to meet their new junior apprentice."
As he spoke, he stepped out and instantly appeared beside Kateya and Van.
"Yes, Lord Lor, I will do so immediately," Kateya responded, operating the Continent Communication Device as she headed toward the door.
Meanwhile, Lor took out a black ring and handed it to Van, saying, "Inside are all the Space Witchcraft techniques and some ideas I've accumulated over time. You can look at them when you're not practicing."
"I won't impose on which path you should take, because I trust you can choose the path best suited for yourself."
"Okay, Mentor," Van accepted the Space Ring, still a bit bewildered.
A subtle, meaningful smile tugged at the corner of Lor's mouth.
Excellent, now he had found someone to take charge of the experimental conjectures about space, so he could focus only on creating and fusing those few pieces of Space Witchcraft, research on time, and conducting spatial engraving on the Wizard Plane, or even the entire Plane Group.
Simply moving one Wizard Plane could cause unpredictable damage, but he didn't believe moving an entire Plane Group would have adverse effects.
No matter what, preparing for possible retreat was crucial, and investing some time in it was well worthwhile.

Wizard Calendar Year 1541, August 18th.
Lor Wizard Tower, top floor study.
"Swish—"
Lor penned his final notes on what he had glimpsed in the River of Time on a parchment scroll, internally lamenting, "Indeed, the broad-net analysis model holds little hope of forming a second complete foundational Time Rune in the short term."
Before accepting his fifth student, he had spent fifteen years assembling his first Time Rune.
During the next twenty-five years, he exhausted all Origin Points, and now the most complete Time Rune was less than 15% finished.
Yet, in terms of quantity, there were far more than before; he had assembled nearly fifty Time Runes with more than 10% completion, and nearly a hundred below 10%.
"The exploration of Time Runes stops here for now. Next, consider what Witchcraft Fusion to create to strengthen Space Witchcraft," Lor said as he took out the Continent Communication Device and began reviewing the 'Space Rune Complements and Evaluations' category carefully.
Compared to when he had just advanced to the Fifth Ring, the 'Space Rune Complements and Evaluations' now contained even more complete space foundational runes.
He reviewed them one by one and finally determined that at this point in time, the most suitable space runes for him were still the three he had previously noted.
The Spatial Locking Rune, Space Disorder Rune, and Space Solidification Rune.
Their functions were all similar, which was to blockade space and prevent the Silver Wolf from escaping.
"The Space Solidification Rune pairs well with the Void Realm and can serve as a second alternative for fusion," Lor contemplated, "but the urgent task now is to choose between the space blockade and the space disorder to construct witchcraft and integrate it into the Great Dissolving Technique."
"Hmm, it's high likely that it can forcibly break through the blockade, better create a Space Disruption Witchcraft," he resolved.
The Spatial Locking Rune served to enclose the space in a closed loop, making it impossible for the enemy to leave the designated area.
This trickery is quite effective against adversaries of the same, or even slightly superior, tier.
But the Silver Wolf possesses a card that can unleash a Tier Seven level attack, an attack the Spatial Locking cannot restrict.
Once it breaks free, it could easily either escape or pull the Wizard Plane into a mutual destruction.
However, Space Disorder is different. In Lor's simulations, using it alongside the Great Dissolving Technique can confuse the Silver Wolf into losing its sense of direction.
With brute strength, but no idea where to apply force, all efforts are futile.
After simulating the fusion direction in his mind, Lor immediately took out a new parchment scroll to begin creating new Space Witchcraft.

Wizard Calendar Year 1600, January 1st.
Over two hundred years, the initial ten planes Lor first developed were fully integrated into the control of the Wizard Alliance, except for the Arrowfish Plane intentionally left untouched.
Thus, during the Year 1600 Grand Council, Francis suggested opening up ten new planes to accelerate the development of the Wizard Alliance.
Regarding this matter, Lor naturally had no objections, and after the Grand Council, he spent a month constructing ten new Cross-plane Teleportation Arrays in the company of Francis.

Wizard Calendar Year 1622, March 7th.
The Magic Artifact Research Institute announced a piece of joyful news, stating that the Tier Four War Fortress had been completely perfected.
It just needed testing by the Third Ring Mechanical Wizard to validate its potential role in resisting forces of Tier Four and Five in the future.
