Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 236: Space Disruption Witchcraft Successfully Created (Part 2)

"Indeed." Jerald nodded and then asked, "Is there any breakthrough at the Energy Furnace Research Institute? If a Tier Six large energy furnace is not developed in the remaining two thousand years, we will have to execute Plan 172."

In the former council, they discussed 537 plans against the enemy.

Plans 100 to 193 were developed based on the final development variables of the War Fortress.

These corresponded to unstable Tier Four War Fortresses, stable Tier Four War Fortresses, unstable Tier Five War Fortresses, etc.

Now that Tier Four War Fortresses have stabilized, nearly twenty plans have been voided, leaving seventy-five plans never discarded to choose from when necessary.

Plan 172 is considered by Jerald to be the most likely scenario.

That is the development of a stable Tier Five War Fortress while progress halts there.

"Recently, there has been little progress on large energy furnaces," Francis shook his head, "I have reassigned all the most talented energy research wizards, except for Ernie, to work on small energy furnaces. Compared to the War Fortress, I believe it's more crucial to ensure an unobstructed path for Vincentia."

"Alright." Jerald sighed, "I just don't know when that kid Ernie will break through the Fourth Ring; ultimately, we still have to rely on him for the energy furnace issue."

Ernie's talent in energy furnaces is undoubted, but his talent in understanding runes is worrying.

In fact, Jerald doesn't believe Ernie can achieve the Fourth Ring on his own, even with Yasen's help.

"Things will get better." Francis looked at the fiercely contested battlefield and replied softly.

Milton Continent, Energy Research Institute, in a large laboratory.

"Aaron, here is my latest revised version of the Energy Loop structure. Please verify if it conflicts with your established foundational energy structure," Lawson piled a large stack of drafts on Aaron's desk.

"You could have sent it to me using the Continent Communication Device; why did you have to bring such a huge stack here?" Aaron complained as he looked at the desk piled high, picking up the topmost parchment book.

"Isn't it more convenient to make modifications anytime?" Lawson laughed.

Actually, he wanted to prove to Aaron that he hadn't been slacking off and had been actively researching the energy loop for the small energy furnace.

Although it's unlikely Aaron would suspect his diligence, one must always be prepared for any eventuality.

"Hmm, your style of drawing energy loops is as tidy as ever," Aaron was amazed as he turned to the first page of the parchment book, "Why can't I think of such a good structure?"

If he were to do it himself, he would definitely use a series of small structures connected in a complex manner to form an energy loop.

Lawson, on the other hand, uses an integrated approach, which is more than twice as simple compared to a complex structure and allows for smoother energy transmission.

"Your strength is not in drawing energy loops; it's in your grasp of the overall structure," Lawson said with a smile, "I am envious of your ability to control the overall energy circuit planning."

"It's just overall control, anybody can do it," Aaron replied nonchalantly, then seriously began to deduce the flow of Lawson's pile of energy loops.

Lawson twitched the corner of his mouth, somewhat at a loss for words.

This guy always undervalues what he has while greatly admiring what he doesn't have, truly not appreciating what he has.

Half an hour later.

"Lawson, there's a problem here; it slightly conflicts with the energy loop in the sixth subsection," Aaron pointed to a complex pattern on the half-reviewed parchment book.

"Alright, I'll modify it." Lawson took the book, compared the areas Aaron pointed out for a minute, saw the issue, and made some changes to the energy loop.

Two hours later.

"This part isn't quite right either."

"Okay."

"Tweak this a bit too."

"Sure."

"This is barely passable, but I think you can do better."

"Let me check."

...

The two of them alternated between pointing out issues and making modifications, and unbeknownst to them, three months had passed.

"Finally done," Aaron sighed with relief, pulling out the Continent Communication Device, "I'll call Reid to do some engraving."

"Let's hope it succeeds on the first try," Lawson said expectantly.

The energy loop they constructed this time is for the Tier Four small energy furnace.

If successful, it would mean that the Tier Four small energy furnace has been developed by them.

With this achievement, reaching the next breakthrough would be steady.

"Failure is okay too; it's just accumulating experience," Aaron laughed as he sent a message to his assistant.

"You have quite an optimistic attitude," Lawson muttered.

Soon, a middle-aged wizard in a Golden Great Wizard Robe pushed open the laboratory door and entered, bowing to Aaron and Lawson, who were beside the desk on the left side of the lab, "Greetings, Honorable Legislator Aaron, Honorable Legislator Lawson."

"Hmm." Aaron nodded, handed a thick parchment book to Reid, "This is our new result, try recording it."

"Yes." Reid took the book and began to carefully examine it.

After half an hour of ensuring every detail was accurately memorized, he returned the book to Aaron and took out a small energy furnace made of Dark Gold, pre-engraved with space expansion patterns, and began engraving the energy loop with great care.

Ten minutes later, Reid handed the energy loop-engraved small energy furnace to Aaron, "Please check it to see if there are any mistakes."

Even though the Deep Dark Plane is now fully controlled by the Wizard Alliance, and Dark Gold is not scarce, it is listed as a strategic resource due to its implication for Tier Four War Fortresses and Mechanical Wizard experiments, according to Francis, and shouldn't be wasted.

Therefore, even for Aaron and the others, any experiment requiring Dark Gold resources must be approached cautiously to avoid unnecessary waste.

"Alright." Aaron examined the small energy furnace three times and confirmed it was error-free, then smiled, "No problems; let's proceed with the experiment."

Saying so, he moved to the other side of the laboratory, eventually stopping at a set of Charging Magic Arrays, carefully placing the small energy furnace at the core of a Fourth Ring Charging Magic Array, and inserted a Magic Crystal.

The energy loop on the small energy furnace only flickered for a moment, even before the elemental energy from the Magic Crystal was transferred to the Charging Magic Array, it disappeared.

Seeing this, the three in the laboratory did not look disappointed; on the contrary, they smiled.

The high energy consumption of the small energy furnace operation is a disadvantage for low-tier energy furnaces, enough to declare failure on that count alone.

However, it is different for Tier Four and above energy furnaces; as long as the furnace can be activated, it is considered successful.

Aaron, without hesitation, placed ten thousand Magic Crystals into the small energy furnace.

With a subtle buzz, the energy patterns on the small energy furnace started to illuminate, supplying energy to the Charging Magic Array.

Aaron held his breath unconsciously, nervously watching the Charging Magic Array.

One second passed...

Ten seconds...

As thirty seconds smoothly passed, a faint halo began to circulate on the Fourth Ring Charging Magic Array.

This signified the formal breakthrough of the Tier Four small Charging Magic Array, and it only required minor refinements to stabilize.

After all, if a large Tier Four energy furnace made of Dark Gold can stabilize, it is inconceivable that it wouldn't work for the small one, right?

Betula Continent, top floor of the Lor Wizard Tower.

"After over two hundred years, I finally created the Space Disruption Witchcraft." Lor put the Continent Communication Device into the Space Ring, thinking to himself, "Compared to Fourth Ring witchcraft, creating Fifth Ring witchcraft is indeed more challenging."

It took him at most about a hundred and fifty years to create Fourth Ring witchcraft, whereas creating Space Disruption Witchcraft took 207 years.

After a brief moment of reflection, he swiftly immersed his Spiritual Power into his Sea of Consciousness, relentlessly exploring the elemental junction between Space Disruption Witchcraft and Great Dissolving Technique, preparing for the fusion of the two forms of witchcraft.
