Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 242: The Eighth Arrival of Players Tier 5 War Fortress_2

"Speaker Francis."

Vincentia hesitated for a moment before finally speaking as if making a decision: "Isn't becoming the Speaker supposed to require making sufficient contributions to the Wizard Alliance first?"

"Actually, I'm already quite content to be made a legislator without accumulating enough contributions. As for the position of the Speaker, if possible, I would prefer to earn it through my own efforts."

The first forty years of his life, he was merely a Harvest Wizard at the lowest rung of the Wizard Alliance.

Later, due to an assessment, within a year he obtained a status he had never dared to dream of, which he could barely accept.

Now, having achieved the Fourth Ring, and with Francis giving him the Legislator Badge, along with his currently hefty power, he could also accept this.

But the position of Speaker was different.

This was the pinnacle of the Wizard Alliance pyramid, and now it appeared before him as if within his grasp, leaving him somewhat uneasy.

It felt as if he were dreaming, giving him a sense of unreality.

Rather than obtaining the Speaker position in such a seemingly frivolous manner, he preferred to reach that point through his own efforts.

"Ah, this..."

"You..."

"Wow, did I hear that right?"

"Hiss—"

The faces of each Speaker showed expressions of surprise, shock, and disbelief, all somewhat doubting if their ears were deceiving them.

Is there a wizard in this world who would refuse the position of Speaker of the Wizard Alliance?

Just as the Speakers were being shaken by Vincentia's words, four more light screens appeared before Francis and Domenico.

The figures of Lor and Sanchez emerged from the light screens.

"What's going on?" Lor asked, looking at the Speakers with widened pupils and frowning at Francis, "Did the Silver Wolf Influence arrive early?"

It should be that the Silver Wolf would not be coming now, as his butterfly effect should not have impacted a plane isolated by the Plane Barrier.

The current Wizard Alliance does not have the confidence to withstand an attack from the Silver Wolf Influence. Things suddenly seemed more troublesome.

Of course, it was not unsolvable; Francis could release perpetual witchcraft in various planes to bolster defenses and hold for as long as possible.

Then, they could reveal the advancement path of the Soul Mage to Domenico, allowing him to quickly ascend to the Fifth Ring, research a Tier Five Soul Contract, and massively enslave other plane's Tier Five beings to act as cannon fodder against the Silver Wolf Force's Tier Four and Five beings.

The enemy's Tier Six beings would then be held off by wizards of the Fourth to Sixth Ring.

As for himself...

Lor had just thought of this when he was interrupted by Francis's words.

"No, you've misunderstood." Francis shook his head with a wry smile, explaining, "It's like this: I just initiated an emergency council..."

He recounted what had happened in detail.

Lor: "..."

Sanchez: "..."

Vincentia received another look of speechlessness and another...a gaze of guilty conscience?

"Ahem, well..." Sanchez coughed once, breaking the silent atmosphere, and said somewhat sheepishly, "Actually, as long as I retain the authority to activate the continent's projection at any time, I can also start as a legislator."

To be honest, after holding the position of Speaker for all these years yet failing to advance to the Fifth Ring, he felt a bit embarrassed.

Although Domenico was the same, that one had rendered enormous services both in the Divine War and the war against the Abyss, making it justifiable to take a Speaker's seat.

"No need for that."

Lor waved his hand, "You must understand one thing: The Wizard Alliance is offering you great concessions ahead of time for the sake of the future."

"As long as you stand up for the Wizard Alliance against the storm in the future, then take everything you gain today with peace of mind."

"If you are afraid, then pretend I didn't say this; whether to take the Speaker position is up to you."

"Afraid? Impossible!" Sanchez raised his eyebrows, looking at Lor, "Forget the future; even now, if the Silver Wolf dares to appear before me, I would not hesitate to slap it away."

"Not yet at the Sixth Ring, you should focus on your cultivation." Lor's mouth twitched; he didn't want to deal with this guy and turned to Vincentia to ask: "What about you?"

"If ever my service is required, unless I perish, I will never retreat." Vincentia looked at Lor, enunciating earnestly.

"In that case, rest assured to become the forty-sixth Speaker of the Wizard Alliance; it is what you deserve." Lor smiled.

"Good!" Vincentia nodded heavily.

He felt as if a huge mountain had been placed upon his heart, an indescribable heaviness.

He deeply understood that the name of this mountain was 'Responsibility.'

Wizard Calendar 2833, August 8th.

Milton Continent, good news once again emerged from the Energy Furnace Research Room of Francis City.

Exactly two hundred and forty years after successfully researching the small Tier Five Energy Furnace, Ernie and his companions made another breakthrough in large-scale energy furnaces.

This also means the Tier Five War Fortress is about to come into being.

If the Third Ring Mechanical Wizards can master the operation of the Tier Five War Fortress, they might independently conduct plane conquest battles in the future.

Wizard Calendar 2907, September 30th.

An event occurred on the eighteenth layer of the Abyss Plane, causing the entire layer to be engulfed in an Abyssal Energy surge. Numerous Abyssal Demons kneeled, trembling in fear.

The reason for this surge was none other than Sanchez, who succeeded in advancing to the Fifth Ring at the central Wizard Tower of the eighteenth layer of the Abyss.

He took nearly two thousand years to progress from the Fourth Ring to the Fifth Ring.

Wizard Calendar 3011, May 7th.

Players descended onto the Wizard Plane for the eighth time.

The increasing number and strength of players brought the Wizard Plane closer to the next stage of development.

It also allowed Lor to harvest nearly three hundred Origin Points, advancing the progress of filling the Time Rune.

...

Wizard Calendar 3299, November 8th.

Milton Continent, in the center of a barren wasteland five thousand miles outside Francis City.

Seven Speakers, including Francis, Jerald, Thunder Element Speaker Theo, and Wind Element Speaker Aisling, gathered around a black War Fortress over five hundred miles in length, which bore no rune engravings.

"The Tier Four War Fortress might have been unable to bear Traits, resulting in failed witchcraft trait replication after engraving,"

Francis spoke to the group, "Today I have called you here firstly to try inscribing your witchcraft and see if Traits can be left behind."

"Secondly, your witchcraft is well-suited for engraving into the Tier Five and Tier Six War Fortresses, so in the future, every batch of Tier Five War Fortresses produced will require you to engrave witchcraft."

"Alright."

"No problem."

"Speaker Francis, have you already tried engraving your own witchcraft on the War Fortress? Was a Trait left behind?"

Of the six remaining Speakers, some agreed readily, while others posed a critical question.

Witchcraft with Traits and witchcraft without Traits are completely different concepts.

No matter when they inscribed witchcraft on Magic Artifacts, Tier Four and below War Fortresses, Spaceships, Scrolls, they ended up failing to leave the inherent Traits of the witchcraft.

This was undoubtedly an odd phenomenon, deserving in-depth exploration.

Unfortunately, they knew very little about Traits and could not explore them fully.

"I haven't; I am planning to attempt it on this," Francis indicated the War Fortress.

"Alright, let's try it together then."

Jerald smiled, "If a Tier Five War Fortress truly can retain Traits, it wouldn't be a problem to combat Tier Five beings."

"Then, even without a Tier Six Energy Furnace, we wouldn't have to worry about assaults from Tier Four and Five beings."

As he spoke, he flew to one side of the War Fortress, dissolved various materials, and began inscribing his most accomplished Water Element Defense Witchcraft 5.9 Ring version.

"Let's hope so." Francis also smiled, nodding as he flew toward another direction of the War Fortress.

The rest of the Speakers each found an empty position and began to inscribe their most adept witchcraft.
