Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 258: Law Value

Fog Shadow Plane, Plane Passage Entrance.

"Whoosh—whoosh—"

One by one, the Fourth and Fifth Ring Wizards, along with the fourth and fifth-tier vassal creatures of the Wizard Alliance, gathered within the Plane Defense Shield, extending their senses to the limit, silently waiting for the best attack range as opposing fourth and fifth-tier creatures entered the plane passage.

"Has the Wizard Alliance grown this powerful?" Ted, Francis's disciple and a Five-Ring Legislator, mused as he reached the passage entrance and sensed the numbers of people and war machines present.

He counted them carefully: there were 312 Five-Ring Wizards and 1,753 Fourth Ring Wizards around him.

And belonging to the Wizard Alliance, there were 537 fifth-tier vassal creatures and 4,698 fourth-tier vassal creatures.

Above them, there were more than 8,000 Fourth-Tier War Fortresses and 926 Fifth-Tier War Fortresses lined up.

Including the War Fortresses, the Wizard Alliance had reached a total of 1,775 fifth-tier combat units, and a staggering 14,805 fourth-tier combat units.

Although they were still nearly half as many as the opposing fourth and fifth-tier creatures, and the War Fortresses relied on a steady supply of Magic Crystals to operate, they could at least rely on the Plane Defense Shield to easily withstand the enemy in the early stages of the war.

"Prepare!" At that moment, Fane, the Five-Ring Fire Element Chairman at the forefront of the wizards, sent out a command with a wave of spiritual power.

The multitude of wizards submerged their spiritual power into the Sea of Consciousness, ready to unleash witchcraft into the plane passage, while the fourth and fifth-tier vassals primed themselves to deliver their strongest attacks at any moment.

"Buzz—buzz—"

Above, the War Fortresses emitted a dense sound from the operating Energy Furnaces, with the runes engraved on them whirring swiftly, interlacing in myriad patterns.

As the creatures in the plane passage advanced to about fifty thousand miles from the passage entrance, Fane called out once more, "Attack!"

"Buzz—whoosh—whirr—"

A series of energy beams, pulsing with terrifying elemental fluctuations, divided into different zones by attribute, entwined and converged into streams of energy, barreling towards the plane passage.

As they passed through the Plane Defense Shield, the shield seemed to dissipate like mist, not clashing at all with the torrents of energy.

"Crack—crack—crack—"

Where the streams of energy passed, space tore apart like thin paper, showcasing the immense power contained within them.

"Why are they so strong?"

"How can things controlled by the third-tier natives unleash an attack of fifth-tier strength?"

"War machinery, this is war machinery!"

"They actually have war machinery?!"

"Aren't they natives? How can they have war machinery?"

Within the plane passage, the fourth and fifth-tier creatures in flight were stunned as they sensed the sheer intensity of the energy torrents rushing directly towards them.

Could it really be reasonable for a native civilization to possess war machinery that they themselves had only heard of?

Originally, they sensed only about eight hundred fifth-tier natives and over six thousand fourth-tier natives at the passage's end, expecting a swift conquest.

But now...

"We'll have to fight with the Power of Origin, we have no other choice," sighed a fifth-tier White Tiger, its fur wholly white.

If there had been time, they could have whittled away gradually without risking their lives.

But their leader had issued a death order—not only to win but to achieve victory swiftly before the Venerable God returned.

Thus, they had no other path but to fight desperately with the Power of Origin.

"Indeed, don't be stingy with the Power of Origin. If there's a chance, use it to trade lives with them. Their numbers are ultimately fewer than ours, and trading lives still offers a hope of quick victory."

"Alright."

"For the tribe."

"Kill!"

Burning Abyss Flame.

Eternal Frost Abyss Pupil.

Thunder Strike Divine Radiance.

Pure Sin Chant.

...

In an instant, tens of thousands of fourth and fifth-tier Secret Techniques were unleashed, forming a torrent even more powerful than the terrifying energy torrent on the opposite side, crashing towards the end of the plane passage.

Unlike the energy torrent attacking them, this torrent contained traces of Power of Origin from the fourth and fifth-tier creatures.

"Rumble—"

The two torrents collided in the Plane Barrier Passage, their mutual annihilation unleashing an aftermath that even sixth-tier creatures found difficult to endure.

In an instant, the energy torrent released by the vassal race of the Silver Wolf ultimately emerged victoriously, with one-fifth of the torrent remaining to rush towards the end of the plane passage.

However, despite the victory, none of the fourth and fifth-tier creatures felt any joy.

"Why is it only one-fifth left? We have twice as many attacks as they do!"

"Could it be that among those natives, there are some with Law Prototypes?"

"Damn it, how can such monstrous native civilizations arise in this Plane Group?"

Their faces were filled with disbelief, unable to fathom such an absurd turn of events.

The opposing native civilization shattered their worldview time after time; whenever they thought they had met the limit, the opposing side revealed yet another card that left them awestruck.

Due to a miscalculation, they had wasted at least half of their Power of Origin.

"Rumble—"

At a hundred thousand miles from the exit in the Plane Barrier Passage, an energy torrent solely formed by the fourth and fifth-tier War Fortresses collided once more with their released energy torrent, mutually erasing each other.

In the end, not only did it completely counteract their energy torrent, but hundreds of sporadic fourth and fifth-tier energy attacks continued to strike towards them.

This time, all of their Power of Origin was wasted.

An eerie silence fell over the fifty-thousand-mile mark of the plane barrier passage.
