The alternating forward and backward movements caused the front row of Burrow Monsters, affected by the deterrence and halted, to be continuously jostled. Zong Shen gripped the Slaying Broad-Blade Saber in one hand and the Cruel Butcher's Knife in the other, furiously hacking at the monsters. It was akin to chopping meat, with bits of flesh and severed limbs flying everywhere.

It was a one-sided massacre. The hundreds of Burrow Monsters at the front of the swarm were soon slaughtered and absorbed into the ground, forming vast areas of plagued land.

Zong Shen and his warriors could basically ignore this, but Zhang Zihao covered his mouth and lightly coughed, seemingly a little discomforted.

"Everyone, fall back! Let the second wave come up!"

Seeing the batch of monsters nearly finished, he waved his hand for the entire army to start retreating.

Including Zhang Zihao's side, everyone began to retreat.

Zong Shen inserted a Healing Guard behind the Wolf Riders.

Healing numbers started appearing over the heads of the Wolf Riders, rapidly healing their injuries.

The Healing Guard's effect was excellent, restoring 2% of Life Value Limit per second for 15 seconds, equating to a 30% Life Recovery rate. Due to the percentage-based recovery, units with higher Life Value Limits gained correspondingly greater benefits.
