Five days later~
A new and modern ship arrived above Leo's residential area.
"Are you sure this is the place?" The ship's gate opened, and a man stepped out.
His body was surrounded in a golden aura as he jumped out of the ship, landing on the ground as if he was as light as a feather.
Another man jumped out, his long overcoat hovering with the wind, even as his tinted sunglasses remained still.
Lightning flickered around the two men, and a third figure materialised beside them like a ghost.
"Why do I have to come here as well?" A fourth person flew out the window, being the only woman in the group.
And lastly, it was a middle aged man. His face was still swollen from a beating. He clicked his tongue as he also jumped out the window.
The middle aged man grumbled, his lips twitching. "I have never seen such a shameful moment in my life. To think that you would bring me here to apologise to a mere commoner when it wasn't even my fault."
His words were completely ignored, as the man with the sunglasses chimed in while staring at the crashed ship.
"This is the same ship which escorted him last time. It looks like the information was reliable."
"Good. That means he must be here." Blaze didn't show much emotion, as he walked towards the villa in front of the crashed ship.
He knocked on the door, and waited for a response.
Fortunately, the wait wasn't long as the door opened. A young man was standing on the other side of the door.
"What do you want?" The young man arrogantly asked, not giving any respect to the newly arrived guest even though their attire clearly carried the symbol of the Hero Tower.
The group was being led by the most well-known hero on earth, Blaze. It also included other heroes like Lightning, Lancer.
The group even had the Hero Tower's Leader, even though he didn't look like one with his swollen face that still hadn't healed, even though over a month had passed.
Despite such a power packed group standing before him, the young man didn't feel anything. If anything, it looked like he was talking to a few commoners that were here to beg for money.
Blaze didn't know why, but he felt a sense of danger coming from this young man. He even felt a little throbbing in his head as he looked at the young man.
"Is Leo Vanderlen inside?" Blaze asked. "We are here to meet him."
"Are you here to beg? I'm sorry but he's a little busy right now. Maybe come next year."
Kaelus stepped back and pushed the door close. However, the door didn't close.
Kaelus looked down and saw that the door was being blocked by Lancer's feet.
"Little friend, can you inform him about our arrival? I'm sure he will be willing to give us some time," Lancer said, his hands still being in his pocket even as he blocked the door.
Kaelus frowned but he still controlled his anger, "As I said, he is busy. Even I can't disturb him. Leave your names, and I'll inform him when he's free in a few weeks or more."
"Is he really busy? Let me see." Lightning moved, his body disappeared in a burst of thunder.
He was trying to pass through the door. He just wanted to see if this person was actually telling the truth, and if Leo was actually busy. They couldn't just go back after coming this far after all.
"Wait, we are here to apologise. We must not create any problems," Blaze called out to calm the others but it was too late. Lightning was already past him.
It was as if time itself had stopped as Lightning moved. Even Blaze could barely keep an eye on him.
Lightning reached the door while the entire world around him was frozen. He tapped Lancer's shoulders, who couldn't even react to it.
"I'll be back before you know it," Lighting placed a foot through the gap in the door while Kaelus was frozen.
Or at least that's what Lightning thought until he felt something around his neck. It was a hand that had grabbed him by the throat. When he looked sideways, he saw Kaelus looking straight at him.
The world returned to their normal pace, followed by a loud thud. When everyone came to their senses, Lighting was lying outside, with a heavy crater under him.
"Didn't I tell you that he is busy? You claim that you came to apologise. Is this the manners of someone that came to apologise?" Kaelus asked, his eyes shining in a deep blue light. Even the illusion of a human was barely maintained.
"This... How?" The entire group was shocked to see Lightning being taken out in such a manner. Even Blaze was frowning at the sight.
He could also defeat Lightning, but it wouldn't have been that easy even for him. So who was this person that was acting like a guard for Leo? Just what has happened in the last few months?
"Who are you?" Blaze asked in a heavy voice. "And why are you with Leo?"
For some reason, he even felt worried about Leo. A person as strong as this was keeping Leo in this villa. And he didn't let anyone meet him. Was Leo truly safe? Or was he in danger?
Was this young man someone who wanted to take advantage of Leo? Was that why he wasn't letting them meet him?
"What if I insist on seeing him once?" Blaze asked, his golden aura growing stronger.
"Then I would have to make you disappear," Kaelus answered without hesitation.
"Are you sure you can do that?" Blaze's frown deepened.
"Why don't you try me?" Kaelus asked.
"In that case, let me see how you stop me today!"
....
Blaze and Kaelus had entered a conflict with each other. Meanwhile the person in question wasn't even in the city, or the nation anymore.
Leo was sitting before a two year old child, as a woman sat behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Leo's expressions were quite dark at the moment.
