Lyra observed the couple from a distance.
"Husband, it's a girl," the white-haired woman said as she picked up the baby. She cradled the child gently, examining her with wonder. "She isn't even a minute old, yet she's already in the Creation Realm."
She let out a soft laugh. "At this rate, won't she surpass me in a day?"
"She is indeed talented," the entity beside the woman said. "Even more than you back in the day."
It extended what seemed like its hand. Instantly, all the collapsing space and destabilizing time around them settled.
"Still, she seems to have advanced too fast," it continued. "Her mind is still that of a newborn despite all this power. She'll need some time before she can adjust."
The woman nodded. She then looked down at the baby with a warm smile. "What do we name her? Should we name her after the Empress or Martial Aunt?"
"No need," the entity spoke.
Its voice shifted.
"It seems she has already decided."
At that moment, the gazes of the couple shifted - both landing directly on Lyra.
She froze.
What was happening?
This was a memory. They shouldn't be able to see her.
"Lyra, is it? That's a cute name."
It was the sound of that strange entity.
And this time, it came from behind her.
She spun around.
Nothing was there.
"Ho, you even inherited my charm."
This time the voice was the woman's - and it came from where Lyra had been facing before.
She turned around and came face to face with the white-haired woman, who stood mere inches away, inspecting her with curious eyes. Her hand rested on her chin as she studied Lyra like an interesting specimen.
"But I find it offensive that someone else named you before me," the woman said.
She extended her hand.
Lyra found herself completely immobilized. She couldn't move. Couldn't speak. Couldn't even circulate her qi.
The hand went right through her head.
"Let's see... Cipher, is it? Hmm, what's this?"
The woman's expression grew darker.
"A fragment?"
At that moment, Lyra finally managed to gather all her strength and forcefully disconnect herself from the memory.
...
She was back inside her spiritual sea, breathing heavily.
What were those creatures?
One she simply couldn't comprehend - its very existence refused to register in her mind.
And the other seemed to see through her completely, as if her entire being was laid bare before her eyes.
She opened her eyes in the real world.
She needed to reinforce her mind realm. Quickly.
That woman seemed to have seen something in Cipher. Would she come looking for trouble?
She needed to quickly...

Cipher observed his stats, then summoned the Cheat Shop.
The cards were Optimize, Merge, Malware. The packs were Mega Mod Pack and a normal Code Pack.
As for the voucher...
He paused.
It was actually another Overstock voucher.
He instantly purchased Optimize and Merge for 200 points, then purchased the Overstock for a thousand points.
The Overstock voucher gave him an additional card slot. This increased both the value of his initial shop and the value of rerolling. It was one of the best vouchers in the Cheat Shop.
And another benefit was...
After buying the Overstock, another card slot appeared with the Commit card inside.
As for the previous empty slots where he had bought Merge and Optimize from, Delete and Patch appeared.
He took all three new cards for 300 points.
He then opened the normal Code Pack. The cards were Commit, Debug, Fork, Import, and Patch. They were all solid cards except for Debug, but he decided to go with Fork.
Now it was time for the real deal.
Just like before, he had leveled up twenty major levels and could roll for cheats the same number of times.
He didn't waste time and pressed the roll button.
[Congratulations! Speedhack (Level 1) has advanced to Speedhack (Level 2)]
Well, that's something, he thought.
After the level up, the distinction between movement and attack speed was dropped. Now he could move at twice the speed. This effectively meant that his speed was around S level now. Combined with Mana Circulation, he should be able to brush the SS rank.
He rolled again.
[Congratulations! Godmode (Level 1) has advanced to Godmode (Level 2)]
Another duplicate.
This time his Godmode duration changed from five seconds to ten seconds.
Ten whole seconds.
The amount of things he could do in ten seconds...
He seemed to be getting duplicates a lot this time. But to be honest, he didn't even mind if these were the kinds of duplicates he was getting. He hoped they kept coming.
"Now No Clip duplicate," he prayed as he rolled.
[Congratulations! ESP (Level 10) has advanced to ESP (Level 11)]
Bruh.
Wait, actually, thinking about it, it wasn't all that bad. Now his range had increased to 15 miles.
In the outside world, he was looking for the Immortal King with Maya. The boosted ESP would definitely help.
Though at the moment, fifteen miles was just...
Still, with exponential growth, he should be able to cover the entirety of the US in just ten more ESP duplicates.
He rolled again...
