The Láspi got up, backed away, then looked at its side. It wasn't healing, and mana wasn't doing anything to help it.

"W-What did you do?!" The Láspi demanded to know.

"Hahahahahahaha!" Jin lunged toward the creature, his eyes glowing while his dragon tattoos appeared on his body.

The Láspi lept back, but Jin was already behind it, clobbering it in the back. Normally, the Láspi wouldn't really be affected by physical attacks, but now, it felt them as a normal human would.

"Arghhh! Y-You bastard!" It turned around and rained down the elements on Jin along with heat vision.

Jin continued to fly toward it, the elemental attacks and heat vision warping around his body, then turning back on the Láspi.

"What?" It blocked the attack, but then its body froze.

Brittany was holding it in place. "Don't even try to fuck with my head again, bastard! I'll fry that slimy brain of yours!"

Jin smiled. "Jess."

[On it!] The power kit on Jin's body turned his hand into a cannon again, and it fired another purple energy blast into the Láspi's chest.

"Arghhhhhh! It burns! Fuckk! It hurts so muchhh!"

"I bet it does." Nanites formed an energy converter on Jin's back. "Addison."

"On it." She rained down energy into the energy converter, powering up Jin's power kit past critical.

"Now, let's see how you handle this." Torrents of purple energy bombarded the Láspi, causing it so much pain that it started to melt as if it were dunked in a pool of acid.

Jin didn't stop, not until his power kit needed to cool down because of the rapid firing of powerful energy. Once he was done, the Láspi looked like a stain on a window.

"Now that this is over with, I need to have a chat with these dumbasses and put them in their place." Jin was so angry that the Aegis Corps still disregarded his warnings and continued to research the Láspi.

"Jin! Jin! Can I ask you a question?" Angela hugged him from behind.

"Sure."

"Why do dragon tattoos suddenly appear on your body sometimes?"

"Oh, those are runes. Magical words. I grafted them onto my body to help me use more power."

"And you made them in the shape of a dragon?"

"Yup. Pretty cool, right?"

"Yeah! I wanna do something like that as well!"

"Well, if you can actually use mana, then you should eventually."

"Ugh, fuck off." Angela kicked a rock away.

"Haha! You three go home, I'll catch up with you all lat—"

"JIN LOOK OUT!"

Jin didn't even know what was happening, but he still created a barrier around himself, pushing Angela out of the way just in case.

The Láspi had attacked him, shattering his barrier and knocking him in the back before taking off into space at superspeed.

"The fuck?!" Jin took off as well, Brittany, Angela, and Addison following behind him.

"I wont die! I wont die!" Those were the last words the Láspi spoke before Jin couldn't hear it anymore due to the vacuum of space.

'How in the world is it moving? No, how is it moving that fast?' Jin locked space around the Láspi, but it then broke out of it.

"Impossible!" He teleported close to it, but then the Láspi teleported further away from Jin.

"It's headed back to the planet the hive mind is on! I won't...Wait! The central hive mind! It's controlling it!" That explained why it suddenly got a burst of power.

The hive mind was the most powerful part of the Láspi, so powerful that every possible strand wouldn't hold a candle to the hive mind.

"I won't let you go back there!" A sniper rifle materialized in his hand, and he aimed it right at Láspi's head.

They were already in the space of the outer planets, and the Láspi nearly entered the atmosphere of the planet the hive mind was on.

But right as it did, a purple energy bullet tore right through its head, causing it to explode, and purple energy ran through its body like a virus.

Jin contemplated following it, but decided against it. He wanted to be extra prepared before he battled the central hive mind. And since it had mana, he wasn't confident that Tessa's creation would work on it in its current state.

"Dammit." He returned to the planet.

Jin didn't feel like speaking to the Aegis Corps at the moment, so he destroyed all their labs instead.

People were outraged by what happened earlier in the day and blamed the Aegis Corps for all the death and destruction caused by the Láspi.

Holly and Polybotea stayed out of the action, and they were glad that they did. Mavena was overpowered, Atalana lost an arm and a leg, and had to get them regrown, and the test of the Vanguards and Guardians who fought against the creature were eaten or killed with ease.

Mrs Horton helped with the cleanup, but she was facing backlash as well.

Jin, on the other hand, was working on a weapon that could severely injure the central hive mind from a distance before he attacked it.

"How about using that Dimensional Cutter weapon. If we repurpose it and add the Láspinium element, it should do the trick, right?" He asked Jess.

[In theory. But we don't know how the weapon works.]

"Well, start going through all the info we have on it."

[It's in the black box. The rest of the black box information is in a facility, not in the data we took.]

"Damn. I'll look into it then. For now, focus on creating that world barrier. Shadow Jin, you tinker with Tessa's...what is it called again? I don't know, her Láspi killing liquid and add the Láspinium radiation to it."

Shadow Jin appeared, nodding his head, and got to work.

"We'll end this once and for all."

Over at Eden's Garden Headquarters, the male assistant arrived with a strand of the Láspi in the same device that powered down the Láspi prisons.

"Good work." A woman told the man.

"T-Thank you! It is an honor to serve Madam Eve!"

"I know it is." The woman left, heading over to a lab where Madam Eve was. She was watching an experiment take place through a glass window.

"The result?" She asked

"Successful. The Láspi even evolved once more, undergoing a mega evolution."

Madam Eve smirked. "Good. Project Omega was a success, and now, Project E.T. was a success as well."

"I-If you don't mind me asking, why not go after the hive mind instead?"

"Because the hive mind has already developed and can think on its own. Besides, Jin is aware of it and won't stop until it is dead. I'm sure he doesn't want a repeat of his previous world." She chuckled.

"Also, if a hive mind dies, the Láspi it's connected to also dies, but that's only in most cases. If a Láspi develops a hive mind of its own with the potential to become a planetary hive mind, then it will survive. That's what happened to this Láspi, and it is what's going to happen again. But this time, we'll put them inside our subjects."

She continued to look into the window, staring at a full-scale production line for Project Omega patients that stretched into the hundreds of thousands.
