Jin was punching the Láspi's face as they burned up in the atmosphere, his punches strong enough to split mountains.

The Láspi blocked one of his punches, but Jin pushed its arm away, blasted it in the chest with heat vision, and continued to punch the shit out of the Láspi.

"Stop punching me!" The Láspi headbutted Jin, fired heat vision into his eyes, then blasted him in his chest, turning around and rocketing toward the ground to absorb more people to become stronger.

"Where are you going?!" Jin summoned chains, chucking them around the Láspi and pulling himself toward it. "We're not done yet!"

Jin slammed against the Láspi with his shoulder, and his hand pulsed with energy. But then the Láspi created clones of itself to attack Jin.

Seeing this, black tendrils sprouted from Jin's back, and they spun in circular motions at high speed, tearing the clones to shreds. The black tendrils then turned into Shadow Jin, and together with Jin, they rained down lightning on the alien, frying its body.

The Láspi wasn't knocked out or anything, but its body needed a bit of time to heal, so it was out of commission for a bit, still conscious of everything around it.

"Jess. We're nearly there, get the weapon ready!"

[Ughh! Dammit! Okay! It's ready! I'm getting a drone ready right now to head to your location.]

"Good, we need to act fast!"

After falling for a bit longer, Jin spotted the drone, and his eyes lit up.

"Yes! Good work, Jess. Let's end this shit right now!"

[You got it.]

"Dammit! I won't let it end like this!" The Láspi grabbed Jin's face, then covered it with goop. It then solidified itself to make it harder for Jin to break out.

It knew Jin wouldn't be in this position for a long time, so it acted fast.

Spinning extremely fast, it threw Jin toward the surface faster than the speed of sound, breaking the sound barrier instantly.

[Jin!]

The Láspi followed up with a knee to the stomach, blasting Jin into the surface of the ground, skidding across the street as he landed in a city.

"Nngh! Fucking bastard caught its second wind." Jin stood up, barely dodging the Láspi's destructive punch that blew the ground apart.

"DIE YOU FUCKING MEAT SACK!"

The Láspi threw another punch, Jin blocking it, but feeling the force behind it nearly break his hand. He dodged two more attacks, punching the Láspi in the belly, causing it to hunch forward, and he followed up with an uppercut that knocked the Láspi back.

Jin flew after it, but his leg was grabbed by a goop tentril that was hidden in the ground, slamming him into the ground.

Coming from above, the Láspi created a blade of mana and forced it down onto Jin.

He dodged, kicking the Láspi in the face. But instead of being knocked back, it turned into goop, creating another clone of itself, and lunged at Jin.

"Fucking hell, man!" A magical shield was cast around Jin; however, the Láspi shattered it in one strike.

"I will beat you, then eat you, and then I will eat everyone on this fucking planet!" It punched Jin in the gut, then threw it into a building.

As he was being flung threw a building, the Láspi shoulder charged into him. But Jin grabbed it, lifted it up in the air, then blasted with a beam from his chest from his power kit.

The Láspi was shot through every floor of the building and was in the air for a bit before it started to fall back down.

"Jess!" Jin shouted, flying toward the Láspi.

[It's here!]

Jin saw the drone, smirked, then attempted to hold the Láspi in place. But then, he saw it do the unthinkable for the second time. It started to self-destruct.

"Motherfucker!" Jin protected the drone since it had the one thing that could permanently kill the Láspi. He then opened space and threw the Láspi in there.

But that's exactly what the Láspi ex[ected Jin to do, so it severed its arm, channeling all of its energy into it, and threw it at Jin before space closed.

Jin was so stunned that his mind blanked out. "You—"

A massive explosion blew him away, destroying a large part of the city and injuring Jin to a severe degree. He started to heal instantly, but he was still in a lot of pain.

"Nnnghh! Fucking Láspi's! I hate those goddamn creatures. Adapting to this, adapting to that, absorbing everything. Like, do something else with your life. Mother fucker." He turned to his side, seeing the drone intact.

"Phew. This is still in good condition." He took the vial out of the drone and put it into his power kit.

"Let's end—" A hand ran through Jin's chest, the intense pain freezing his body. He looked down, seeing his beating heart in the hand of the Láspi, then watched as it was absorbed into its being.

"Hahahaha! Hahahahah! HAHAHAHAHA! You lose, Jin! I win! Your mana will keep you alive long enough for you to watch me kill everyone and everything you love!"

"B-Bastard." Jin managed to get out, blood dripping out of his mouth.

"What was that? I couldn't hear you. Speak up, you dead man." The Láspi mocked.

"H-Heh. If you think I'll die to something like this. Then you don't know me at all." Jin created a gun with his power kit's nanites, then shot himself in the head, the energy bullet tearing into the head of the Láspi as well.

They both collapsed to the ground, presumably dead, but then Jin's head started to heal.

"Ow! Fucking hell, that hurts!" Looking next to him, he saw the Láspi convulsing like crazy, its body breaking down on a molecular level.

Its human form couldn't be maintained anymore, and it turned back into goop with a round core inside it. The core cracked, then shattered, and the Láspi turned black, losing its life, before bursting into flames, dying permanently.

"Damn. Tessa, your work is good." Jin planned on thanking her when he met her again.

[Jin. How are you alive?]

"Mana baby. When you undergo body rejuvenation, your life isn't tied to your organs anymore. See, my heart is growing back, and the hole in my chest is closing. Wait, did I just get added to the donut list? Dammit."

[You know, that ending was pretty anticlimactic.]

"I agree, but that's better than it being climatic and the moon, planet, and billions of people die and get destroyed."

[That's true.]

"So, did you find where the black box is?"

[I actually did manage to find its location. You should get there soon before it moves again tomorrow.]

"Roger that."

Eden's Garden watched Jin's entire fight with the Láspi, already knowing how things would go down.

Madam Eve was sitting in her chair, smiling when Jin killed the Láspi. Everything was going according to her plans.

"Madam Eve. Jin killed the Láspi." An attendant spoke.

"I saw."

"Shouldn't we be worried? The strand that we have could die as well."

"Don't worry about that. I've already handled that. The Láspi we have in our possession should start developing a core now that the central hive mind was destroyed. What makes this even better is that all of the abilities and information from the hive mind will be in our new Láspi."

Eve got up to pour herself a drink.

"U-Um. Also, we have learned that Sherry was killed by Jin."

Eve shrugged. "Eh, who cares. She was just a pawn. We need to focus on our next phase of the plan."

"Which is? You haven't briefed us on that part."

Eve smiled. "Jin is after the black box, right? Well, once he finds out what's inside it, he will flip out and lose his mind. He will sever all relations with the Aegis Corps and go rogue. Our next step is to alienate him from everything and everyone while we slowly take control over the nation."

"A-And how do we keep alienating Jin from everyone?"

Eve clicked a button on her chair, and red curtains opened, revealing a factory that was producing...people. But not just any person. The factory was making clones of Jin.
