Supreme Paragon Reborn: Humanity’s Rise To Galactic Supremacy

Chapter 187: Advertisement Depicted As A Documentary

In a rundown shed two men were busily telling tales to an excited kid.

"That really happened? Brother is amazing!" The boy jumped with excitement.

"Indeed, your big brother is amazing!" Enzo proclaimed proudly. After Michael's crew momentarily split up, the man didn't hesitate to go towards his one and only family.

"Now come on!" Enzo urged, patting the boy on the head. "Your brother has done the impossible and earned a large amount of money. It's time to leave this place and find ourselves a proper home."

The boy's eyes began to sparkle. Not having a dark heart, he had never really connected with the other kids around him. At least this meant he wouldn't be brought to tears by any farewells.

"Wow, this is so sentimental that I just might shed a tear." A voice exclaimed with amusement.

Heaving a sigh, Enzo gazed at the Grandmaster that had followed him.

"Richard." Enzo remained unfazed. "Why did you bother following me around? You know that I was going to my family… If your intent was to cause trouble, then don't think being in a higher realm than me will save you!"

Richard laughed wholeheartedly. "Don't misunderstand; my instinct told me that if I followed you around, something entertaining would happen."

At that second Richard received a notification. With a smile, the Grandmaster opened the message, not surprised that it was from Michael.

"HAHAHA! I swear the Boss is the best!" Richard glanced at Enzo and his little brother.

"You two… Want to take part in the extermination of a gang?"

The little boy glanced at Enzo with anticipation.

"My powerful brother will definitely get rid of the bad guys!"

'I knew that allowing Richard to follow me was a bad idea! Fuck it, he mentioned Michael, if he is involved, then there is nothing to get worried about.' Enzo thought, nodding.

"Alright, lead the way."

Several hours passed in a flash. Soon the three found themselves standing before a humble coffee shop.

"Woah!" Rushing forward, the boy entered the cafe without hesitation.

"Michael!" Enzo saluted when he noticed him waiting patiently.

A momentary surprise flickered across Michael's face, considering that he had invited only Richard, though he wasn't surprised that the man had been up to his own mischievous deeds.

"So you are Michael? The rival that my brother mentioned?" Enzo's brother asked.

Michael smiled warmly. "Indeed, what is your name?"

"Niko!" The boy introduced himself.

Once everybody was acquainted with each other, Richard pressed for details on the mission.

"Boss, what is this gang you mentioned?"

Shifting his glance at Skylar, Michael expected her to elaborate. Though strangely she remained frozen in one spot.

'A G—Grandmaster!' She felt her heart race. 'How could Michael call someone of such a realm so casually?! Forget that, did I misheard, or was he really called Boss?!'

With each passing second, she felt like making a deal with Michael was the right decision.

"..."

Seeing that the woman wasn't planning to elaborate, Michael did.

When he finished, Richard instantly rose to his feet. "What are we waiting for? Boss has to get rid of rival gangs to create his own turf!"

"Are you deaf? Michael didn't say anything like that!" Ava, who had brought out food to Niko, retorted.

"I would expect more from the Boss' woman!" Richard shook his head in dejection. "Somebody great like him shouldn't just get rid of the petty gangs but create one of his own. Eventually getting control of the city!"

Scarlett, who had tactically remained quiet all this time, discreetly opened a bag of popcorn.

'I have no idea who these people are, but seeing powerhouses that I can't touch arguing so casually is certainly entertaining.'

At the same time, Luis observed each person in the coffee shop carefully. For the first time in a very long time, the intuition of a professional cameraman was calling out to him.

'Perhaps… with the people gathered here, making the documentary reach millions of views is possible.' He mused.

Once things calmed down, a plan was set in motion.

The documentary would begin with Michael, a soldier returning from a grueling expedition. However, instead of a warm welcome, he learns from the waitress Ava that during his absence, a gang had formed and started harassing his family and the local shops.

Overhearing their conversation, Richard, a Grandmaster who had a deep fondness for the humble coffee shop, alongside his disciple, Enzo, would offer to help take down the gang.

It was a story that would easily captivate the hearts of the masses. Soldiers that fought in the name of humanity uniting to defeat a local gang, all just to protect the cafe that gave them peace of mind away from the horrors of war.

As for how this would turn into a documentary rather than a movie, it was quite simple. While all of this was unfolding, Skylar and Luis, who had been discussing their next steps in the café, would just happen to witness Michael's return and decide to document his journey.

"This is it! The big hit I have been chasing all this time is here!" Skylar practically felt the fame coming after they filmed the introduction scene.

As it turned out, Michael's crew was able to act superbly as long as they stuck to their true nature.

"Now all that is left is to film us getting rid of the gang." Richard smiled widely. He had yet to enter battle after becoming a Grandmaster, so his lack of patience was understandable.

"Go kids, I will take care of Niko in the meantime." Since Isabella knew that there was no stopping her son once he made up his mind, she decided to help him instead.

"Now that you mention it, you seem quite natural with kids." Ava remarked, noticing how close the two had become, with the little boy clinging to the woman.

"Indeed." Isabella giggled, casting a discreet glance at Michael. "Even though he is quite young, I have been preparing for grandchildren. Becoming a grandma doesn't sound bad…"

With the preparation completed, they set off to find the rumored gang ravaging across the district.

"Are you alright?" Skylar noticed Ava acting weirder than normal. "Did something happen?"

"N—No, let's go." Ava stuttered momentarily.

"The café advertisement, depicted as a documentary, won't film itself!" She said, trying to forget about the recent conversation with Michael's mother.
