Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 119: Jurassic Jesus

Jimmy was in no condition to talk to this mystery figure right now. He was tired, nauseous, and was almost sure that he had contracted some disease by just stepping into the bloodbath that was a hundred meters ahead of him. He had to dedicate some time to himself, to heal himself, rather than try and decipher the impossible puzzles of The Invisible.

The figure didn't seem to care if he was ready to talk or not. It kept approaching, and seconds later, it was right in front of him.

"Second visit today, huh?" He asked. "What's the matter? Did you drop your queen piece? I don't have it."

It was impossible to read the figure's expressions, but judging from the fact that he did not laugh, odds were that he didn't enjoy Jimmy's joke.

The figure was silent, and then he reached out his hand, hovered it right in front of Jimmy's forehead, and then it blasted him with this sort of dark beam!

Jimmy was okay. He did not get executed for telling a slightly funny joke. He was more than okay, actually, as after the beam, he started feeling a lot better physically, and noticed that his mana reserves were now at full capacity!

"Damn!" He exclaimed. "What are you? Jurassic Jesus? Did I just get blessed?"

"You're getting lucky tonight, so it's best if you're in good shape to enjoy it, right?" The figure finally spoke. "Consider this a favor, young one. When I ask you for a favor in the future, you must say yes. You must agree."

"Sure," He nodded, and then he looked at the sky. "As long as you don't want my soul like that dickwad I came on, up there."

"Good," The entity said, and then it disappeared.

"God… that's creepy." He shuddered. "At least he was helpful for once."

Jimmy didn't know what to expect of this entity. It was an enigma, so he couldn't even imagine what kind of favor it could ask him for. He was just hoping that it wasn't something weird, or borderline demonic.

The best he could do now was wait, in both accounts. He had to wait for Anna, for another two hours, and so he tuckered down, and stared into the distance. Killing time without anyone to kill it with was quite difficult, especially since he had been here for four hours already. There were no phones in the Jurassic Era, or internet, so it wasn't like he could doomscroll to pass the time.

Jimmy wanted to stay put, but then something caught his attention. In the disgusting blood bath in front of him, roughly one-hundred meters away, or over three-hundred feet away, he saw something that Anna would lose her marbles over.

He saw flies, or better described, flying insects. At first he didn't pay attention to them, but then it dawned on him. The bloodbath was far away, so even if the dead, flattened bodies had attracted various insects, he wasn't supposed to see them from up here.

This was when he stood up, and asked himself, "More giant bugs?"

Jimmy then took a few steps closer, to have a better look, and recognized the bugs as giant dragonflies. He couldn't make up how big they were from up here, but they were big enough to be a concern.

"No wonder Anna is always pissed off," He mumbled. "I'd be pissed off too if giant bugs kept popping up where they're not supposed to."

Jimmy did not remember much of Anna's frantic episodes of why giant bugs weren't supposed to be here. He just knew that it had something to do with oxygen levels, and in the rare case where giant bugs had actually leaked into the Jurassic Era, their best assumption was that magic had to be involved, or otherwise it shouldn't be possible.

"I wonder what giant bug meat tastes like?" He asked himself. "Probably like small bugs. I haven't tasted either."

Jimmy's scientific interest was short-lived. He had half a mind to kill one of the giant bugs, fry it over the embers, and then eat it, but he had to stop himself. He could practically visualize an angel and a demon arguing in his mind as to what to do next.

The angel said, "You just got healed, dipshit. Why would you want to put something with a thousand diseases in your mouth?"

The demon said, "Great men take great risks!"

Jimmy didn't listen to any of them. Well, technically he did listen to the angel, but he decided to walk further away from the blood bath. The bugs were creeping him out, so he started walking across the rocky mountain, and tried to keep himself busy.

The hunt for salt was not over, so he tried to get to a high point, and keep an eye out for the sea. He had a hunch that the sea was close by, because the river was heading east. For that matter, he walked eastwards, for the sake of being productive.

Five minutes later, he could not locate the sea, but he ran into trouble instead. He saw a bunch of bugs, but the main difference with these ones was that they blended into the rocky mountain almost perfectly! Even their shells seemed dusty, and the only reason why he had been able to see them to begin with, was because he saw their tails floating above the ground.

"Shit shit shit shit!" He panicked, and started jumping around like a little girl who saw a spider.

Except, he saw cat-sized scorpions, which was a lot more terrifying. He saw roughly seventeen of them, and from the looks of it, they were heading towards the blood bath behind him.

"What the fuck is going on!" He shouted, and then ran upwards, to avoid the path of the giant scorpions. "Am I hallucinating!?"

To be able to ask that question so quickly, almost confirmed that he was not, in fact, hallucinating. He felt great up until a moment, he was healthy, so these scorpions were real, horribly real.

Jimmy tried to stay out of their way, but then, six of them changed their path, and started crawling upwards, and were coming after him! They had plenty of legs to manipulate, so they were fast, terrifyingly fast!
