Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 124: Defence Tactics

The silent threat of their own home not being safe anymore, was overwhelming. In a world of giant predators who'd rip their torsos off in the blink of an eye, it was stunning that the most dangerous predator they had to worry about were other humans.

It was infuriating, it made their blood boil. Humanity truly loved to wage wars ever since the dawn of man! This fact appeared to be constant even in this alternate world.

It was sad, but what other thing could Jimmy and the tribe do other than fight back? Their livelihood, and their very lives, come to think of it, were at stake. Other tribes wanted their lands, and with the word spreading that this tribe lost most of their hunters, any chief, great or small, would want to try their luck. The other tribes did not want to cooperate, they wanted to dominate!

Hannah saved everyone from a massacre today, by pure luck. This afternoon, she had been fully willing to sacrifice herself just to protect her people, and leave this world with one last good deed, but since it was virtually impossible for her to kill herself now, her new calling rang in her ears like a church bell. She believed that her powers have evolved, so she could help protect her tribe in its most vulnerable time.

Will she get as lucky as she got today, and kill a hundred enemies in one blow? Perhaps not, but she was virtually indestructible, so at the very least she could go berserk on her enemies without suffering any consequences. She was very willing to help protect her tribe.

"We need more eyes in the sky," Jimmy said. "Me and Anna will go out tomorrow and tame some QTs, but I need volunteers. Some of you may need to ride the QTs, who are flying dinosaurs, if any of you are confused? I need you guys to patrol the skies, the grasslands, everyday. This is the best way we can spot, and destroy any other tribe that steps into our lands."

"No problem," Gnegor stepped up, "I'll take a flying dinosaur if you're just giving them out. The fresh air will do me good anyway."

"I'm afraid of heights… but, I can learn not to be afraid, I guess?" Lasra expressed. "I don't have anything else to do anyway. You healed your father, and you'll heal Gaark, so yes, I'll take a flying dinosaur."

"Very good," Jimmy nodded.

"I'm not getting on that fish eater again," Gaark blurted. "Its nose is too big."

The small crowd chuckled a bit after they heard Gaark speak. Everyone needed a bit of comic relief, but everyone was sure that he'd climb on top of a QT in no time. Once his brain gets healed, after which he should think rationally, he'd want to be up in the sky as soon as tomorrow morning! No one in their right mind would refuse to have a five-meter tall killing machine as a pet, especially now when so much was at stake.

Anna's parents also volunteered. They wanted to contribute.

Hannah was especially willing to jump on top of a QT, because even if she fell off mid air, she wouldn't die on impact anyway, or at least, she hoped not.

In total, assuming that they find enough Quetzalcoatlus Northropis for everyone, or QTs for short, the tribe should have five new pairs of eyes on the sky. Six, after they convince Gaark to also ride one.

Not to mention, Anna will be of great help. She's sure that she'd be able to train everyone how to steer a QT within a day. Assuming Jimmy makes these new pets as smart as her Bonita, the volunteers won't have any trouble at all steering their new pets. As long as they don't make them fly at full speed. QTs were dangerously fast while in the air, and the risk of falling off mainly circled around that fact.

Anyway, after they plotted their plan for tomorrow, Jimmy went back to healing his brother. Lasra brought food for the both of them, and as they ate, Jimmy started erasing memories of Gaark's cannibalistic past.

To his luck, Gaark's brain was so atrophied that he barely had any memories to begin with. He only had to delete twenty-three of them, and paired with some traumatic memories, he deleted fifty of them in total.

Paired with the fact that Jimmy made Gaark salivate naturally, by having him eat meat, Jimmy preserved most of his mana so far. He only used up ten percent of it.

The costly job came next. He had to reverse the brain damage as best as he could.

Jimmy had tried to heal his brother's brain passively, by creating new brain tissue, forming them back into their former lobes, and even encouraging neuron connections, but the healing process was still too slow. Gaark was missing a third of his brain, after all.

With that said, he had to amp up the healing process by three times more! It wasn't as passive now.

As he poured a great amount of mana into the brain, Jimmy could see the light coming back in his brother's eyes. He could see, hell, he could even feel his brother's thought process becoming more and more complicated. He was getting smarter by the second, and at some point, he froze in place before he was about to take another mouthful of meat, and felt his head clearing up.

Within two minutes of rapid healing, Gaark went from being medically retarded, to a normal caveman, and then he even went past the IQ bellcurve a little bit. The rapid healing process worked too well.

The rapid healing wasn't dangerous, it barely even reversed half of his brain damage, but Jimmy did too good of a job nonetheless. Gaark's brain was communicating with its own lobes better than it had ever done in his life, even before the brain damage!

During the late stages of the rapid healing, Jimmy ran out of mana, because Gaark's brain got too complicated to treat continuously. He still had brain damage, but it was barely going to affect his daily life after this point.

Jimmy tapped out of his brother's brain, and asked, "Gaark, do you know where you are?"
