Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 172: Gutty's Crowd Surfing

Arrows and rocks rained from the sky like the fury of the Gods!

To everyone's surprise, the rocks were more effective than the arrows. This was a surprise, but the science behind it made sense.

Arrows were sharp and pointy, sure, but the fist-sized rocks were tossed from a height of over three-hundred meters, or over a thousand feet, so gravity helped them gain a deadly velocity! A rock to the head killed men on the spot, while a rock on the shoulder simply broke shoulder bones.

It helped that tens of rocks were tossed at the enemy at once. The archers could hear the enemies yelping, and screaming in pain. The rocks really overwhelmed them, or caught them by surprise, at least.

This part of the plan was the Jurassic equivalent of an air strike. It was effective, but unfortunately, they could only use this attack once.

Seven QTs had been loaded up with leather covers, filled with rocks, and the team collected these rocks from the backyard of their home, otherwise known as the rocky mountain. It would be a long trip back if they were to refill their large leather covers with rocks, a trip that may not be worthwhile. Jimmy was against it, so the QT riders didn't fly back home, but stuck around in the sky, and inspected how the rest of the battle unfolded.

Regarding that matter, the archers that rode on top of Rampage's back were keeping the enemy busy, but this itself was a problem. The rocks and arrows have been effective so far, but the archers, or Rampage, became a prime target for the enemy, as they didn't have anyone else to fight.

The elders had somehow survived the massacre, and they were shooting fireballs at Rampage. Their aim was terrible, so bad to the point where they couldn't hit a large, one hundred and seventy ton dinosaur just because he was moving, but Zik's gut was practically barking at him right now, his intuition was sharp, and he knew what dangers to expect.

He turned to the archers, and yelled out, "How many arrows do you have left?"

"We're good for three more rounds," Zelna yelled back.

"Make them count, we're about to go long range! The enemy is getting smarter, so we have to ditch this bitch!" He said, urging the archers to be more accurate than they already were. "It's time for part five!"

Zik then tapped Rampage's neck, and had him trot away from the battlefield. If they didn't leave now, he'd be putting fourteen lives in danger, including himself, and Rampage.

The elders that lurked within the enemy lines had magical abilities that were too random to predict. The fireballs they shot seemed like enough of a problem, and he didn't want to discover what else they could do.

Jimmy had warned him profusely about keeping his distance from the enemy, and more importantly, knowing when to ditch the battle. He called it a tactical retreat, and at some point, that word stuck with Zik, and he did in fact leave just in time. He gave part five of the battle plan the freedom to unfold.

With a mere one-hundred enemies remaining, some of them injured, and some of them still unscathed, part five of the battle plan should be effective enough. The crowd was easier to tame now, a lot easier compared to three-hundred people, at least.

Jimmy had Gutaxun get closer to the battlefield up until now, and as Rampage skedaddled, he had Gutaxun charge into the crowd. He brought Hannah with him, to use her a bit like a human shield in case the enemy had a good aim, and tried to spear him. She held on to him from behind, as if the Gods themselves wanted to pull him away!

"Hahaha!" He let out a battle cry, and then they heard the countless, yelping cries of the enemy.

Gutaxun was a beast in his own regime. He was five meters, or sixteen feet tall to the hip, and with such size to his aid, he bashed through the crowd of enemies with ease, stepping on bodies, dead or alive, crushing the lives, and spirit out of the enemy!

The prior four steps of the battle plan had been about everyone keeping their distance, and using ranged attacks, but they had to take risks from this point onwards, to finish what they started, or else they would need to take the battle closer to home, where the risk factors were significantly greater.

As Gutaxun tore through the crowd, breaking the confidence of many men who considered themselves great, Jimmy had tapped into his heartbeat, and kept healing any cut, and stab that Gutaxun suffered during his crowd surfing!

Thankfully, he only got stabbed a few times, and the spears had been far too small to bring such a beast down. Jimmy had feared fireballs the most, he didn't want his pet to be shot by them, but Gutaxun was fast, and pierced through the crowd in less than a minute, killing fifteen. He didn't get hit by any fireballs.

Jimmy poured twenty-percent of his mana in Gutaxun, and healed all of his wounds far before they could've turned into anything serious. Gutty was okay, and he kept running, distancing himself away from the crowd once he ran through them.

However, part five of the battle plan was not over yet. It was the part that was supposed to end this battle, once and for good.

Two sets of close-range attacks were just about to initiate, and Jimmy had nothing to do with them. He already did his part, and not to forget, the battle plan he stitched together was his main contribution.

Three Red Heads approached the enemy from the west, and four River Fatties approached from the east. The idea was to sandwich the enemy into a close-combat battle that they could not run away, or hide from.

Eighty-five enemies remained, and although that number seemed great, the total of seven dinosaurs that approached the battlefield did bring a few human friends with them! Powerful friends!

Cika, Icha, and Rulya rode their red-headed dinosaurs into battle, and with them, they brought three elders in total. Elders who were so powerful, so battle-hardened, that death itself would be a reward to them, a release, rather than a punishment. They were ready to die today, but then again, if anyone could survive today's battle, it was them. They might spit on death's face once more.

Ideally, they could use more elders, more powerful minds digging their fists in the battle, but their red-headed dinosaurs were not meant to carry more than two people. They were at a disadvantage, but the elders who volunteered, or were convinced to join the battle, were the best of the best, they were from the tribe's inner circle, so the six of them were confident that they were going to survive this.

From the other side of the battlefield, or from the east, Nechi and Eni rode their River Fatties into battle.

River Fatties were big, one-ton dinosaurs, so they could carry more people on their backs. Specifically, the two ladies brought Mika with them, and nine other elders too. They had a clear advantage in numbers, when compared to their friends from the west side of the battlefield.

The bloodiest sandwiching of the grasslands was seconds from being pressed together. The enemy was about to get a vicious reminder of why Unique Magic was called unique!
