Jiang Chen narrowed his eyes slightly, sized up the elder, and turned to look at Pu Losi.
"This is Hul Li Uncle, my mother's personal butler. He accompanied her when she married into the family and has been with her all his life," Pu Losi softly introduced.
Jiang Chen nodded knowingly and led the group over.
"Hul Li Uncle," Pu Losi warmly greeted.
It was evident that both Pu Losi and the others liked the Hul Li butler a lot, and evidently, Hul Li must hold significant prestige within the Royal Family to be able to accept such titles from the two without concern, considering he was just a butler.
"Mr. Hul Li!"
Jiang Chen and a few others greeted him as well.
After glancing at Jiang Chen and the others, Hul Li greeted Ha'er and the group, then looked at Pu Losi with a puzzled expression.
Pu Losi introduced the group to Hul Li.
"Hello, Mr. Jiang and everyone, the car is over there, let's get in," Hul Li politely greeted and pointed to a nearby extended Lincoln.
The entire airport had only this one private vehicle driving in!
"Mr. Pu Losi, you go ahead, we have something to handle!" Jiang Chen turned to Pu Losi and softly said.
Pu Losi glanced at the stewardess assassin, nodded lightly, and turned to consult Mi Jiaro.
"I'll go with Mr. Jiang," Mi Jiaro softly said.
"Mr. Ha'er and the others, please come with us," Pu Losi said without pressing Mi Jiaro but turned to invite the three of Ha'er.
The three turned to look at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen said with a light smile, "You go with Mr. Pu Losi first. We probably won't have to fight, nor do I want to start one!"
"Alright," Ha'er nodded in agreement.
On the side, Hul Li watched the group's conversation quietly, a shrewd light flashing in his eyes. He looked slightly surprised at Jiang Chen, clearly not expecting someone who seemed so unremarkable to be the leader among such a group!
The group split up. Pu Losi and the others headed toward the Lincoln, while Jiang Chen, along with Yan Hu, Spirit You, Fang Tiancheng, and Mi Jiaro, escorted the stewardess assassin toward the exit.
...
Mist City International Airport arrival hall.
A stunning Oriental woman impatiently watched the airport exit as a handsome youth with blond hair and blue eyes babbled incessantly:
"Beautiful lady, I am truly a Prince of Y Country. If you don't believe me, come to the Imperial Palace with me and I'll prove it. The moment I first laid eyes on you, your beauty conquered me and I swore I would make you my queen. Lady, you must agree to be mine..."
As the man spoke, his gaze frequently flicked to a piece of oval jade hanging around Ying Zi's neck, showing greed in his eyes.
Suddenly, the woman's eyes lit up as she stepped toward the exit.
The man was momentarily stunned, looked up at the exit, and saw figures emerging from it, with the woman finally stopping before a handsome young man.
"Fuck!"
The man's eyes flashed with coldness as he hurriedly stepped forward.
"Ying Zi?!"
As soon as Jiang Chen stepped through the airport exit, he saw Ying Zi approaching and said in surprise, "How are you faster than us?"
"Young Master, I was in the city when you called. I intended to transfer to Marlow from here,"
Ying Zi explained with a light smile, nodding knowingly toward Yan Hu and the others behind Jiang Chen. She gave a puzzled look at the stewardess in uniform between Yan Hu and Spirit You.
"Let's go to the hotel first," Jiang Chen softly said.
Ying Zi smiled and nodded lightly.
"Beautiful lady, are these your friends? Feel free to take them with you to visit the Imperial Palace!"
A shout echoed, and the man stepped in front of Jiang Chen and others, directly blocking their path.
"Mr. Sai Lida, please stop pestering me!" Ying Zi looked up with a face full of disgust at the man.
Sai Lida paused slightly, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. He glanced at Jiang Chen and said in a low voice, "Is it because of him?"
"Mr. Sai Lida, please show some respect!" Ying Zi's tone cooled down; she did not want to cause any trouble for Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen looked at Ying Zi, then at Sai Lida, and smiled helplessly; a pretty girl always brings trouble wherever she goes!
"Sir, let me introduce myself. I am Sai Lida, Prince of the Y Country Royal Family. May I know your name?" Sai Lida looked at Jiang Chen with pride.
Jiang Chen glanced at Sai Lida indifferently and said casually, "Jiang Chen."
Sai Lida paused slightly; Jiang Chen's calm attitude made him ponder, then he invited smoothly with a smile, "Mr. Jiang, tomorrow is my grandmother, the Y Queen's birthday. Are you interested in attending?"
"I will be there," Jiang Chen softly replied.
"Oh?" Sai Lida was surprised briefly; Jiang Chen said 'I will be there,' so that means...
"It appears Mr. Jiang is invited, so that's perfect; we'll meet at the Imperial Palace tomorrow!" Sai Lida smiled.
Jiang Chen nodded lightly and turned toward the roadside. A stretch Rolls-Royce was parked there, with the Jiuzhou Hotel logo printed on it, evidently called by Ying Zi.
Sai Lida narrowed his eyes, a trace of anger contained within, staring directly at Jiang Chen's back until the Rolls-Royce started and drove out of his sight.
"Jiang Chen?"
Sai Lida sneered, "No woman chosen by Prince Sai Lida has ever escaped me. How dare a small Oriental man disrespect me? I will show him the consequences of disrespect!"
After speaking, Sai Lida beckoned to the side.
Thud, thud, thud!
The sound of footsteps echoed, and a burly man in black attire ran over from the roadside not far away.
"Investigate tomorrow's guest list. Find out what this Jiang Chen is about!" Sai Lida ordered coldly.
"Yes!"
The burly man nodded respectfully, took out his phone, and dialed a number.
Sai Lida walked toward where the burly man had come; parked there was a limited edition Lamborghini.
"Your Highness, there is no one named Jiang Chen on tomorrow's guest list," the burly man, following Sai Lida, spoke softly after finishing the call.
Sai Lida stopped, turned to the man in surprise, "None?"
"That's correct, no guest named Jiang Chen; no one with the surname Jiang either!" the man responded affirmatively.
"Heh!" Sai Lida sneered, "So it was all a show. Find out where they're staying and send him an invitation tomorrow morning."
"But... Your Highness, why send him an invitation?" the burly man asked in confusion, eyeing Sai Lida.
