After giving Jiang Chen an earful, Li Wenhao stopped bothering with Jiang Chen.

Li Wenhao turned to look at Li Susu, "Susu, a new theme park has opened at Xi Mountain but hasn't yet begun operations. How about I take you there to play?"

"If it hasn't opened yet, would they let us in?" Gong Yue asked with a puzzled look at Li Wenhao.

The group followed the mountain path up to the halfway point of the theme park, and Jiang Chen realized at a glance that Li Wenhao was lying.

Looking around, the Xi Mountain Theme Park covered much of Xi Mountain, and its myriad attractions were all fully equipped. To build such a theme park would take more than a billion. Li Wenhao had claimed that his assets amounted to over a billion, but everyone knew there was some exaggeration there; he couldn't possibly afford to open such a park.

For some reason, there was no one guarding the entrance to the theme park, so Li Wenhao brazenly led everyone inside.

"This is…" While walking, Li Wenhao began to explain the various attractions in the park, and Li Susu and the others continually nodded along.

Jiang Chen shook his head, speechless. Didn't they recognize the rides in the theme park? Why were a bunch of them acting so foolishly? Even if he was worth nearly a billion, was it worth fawning over him like this?

While they were wandering around, they suddenly encountered a group of people coming their way.

Li Wenhao's face changed, and he quickly approached the men in suits, smiling, "I am Li Wenhao, the Li Wenhao from Haoran Company,"

The young man gave a cold laugh and raised his hand to slap Li Wenhao across the face.

"Smack—" A crisp sound rang out, and Li Wenhao was left standing there, stunned.

Li Susu and Meng Yuanyuan, standing beside Li Wenhao, started shouting:

"Who are you? How can you hit someone?"

"Do you know who Wen Hao is? He is a shareholder here. You guys dare surround us, do you want to get fired?"

"Really, have you become blind? Can't even recognize your own leader!"

Gong Yue glanced at Jiang Chen, everyone had spoken except for the two of them.

Li Susu also glanced at Jiang Chen then, her eyes filled with strong disdain. Such a cowardly man.

"A shareholder? Him?" The young man across looked at Li Wenhao and curled his lips into a cold smile, "I am the owner of this amusement park, Sun Jianshan, how come I don't know I have such a shareholder?"

Meng Yuanyuan and the others were stunned for a moment, foolishly staring at Li Wenhao.

Li Wenhao's face changed, and he suddenly widened his eyes in shock, exclaiming, "You, you're Sun Jianshan, the young master of the Sun Family of Jincheng?!"

Sun Jianshan smirked coldly, "That's me. Since when did my amusement park have your investment? Why don't I know about it? How about I give you a red envelope when the amusement park opens?"

"No, no, no!" Li Wenhao hurriedly waved his hand, his face in a panic as he started, "I, I, I was just joking with them! Young Master Sun, please don't mind me!"

"Joking?" Sun Jianshan glanced at Jiang Chen and the others, his lips curving, "Trying to pick up girls using my place?"

Li Wenhao's face turned red and he let out an embarrassed smile.

Jiang Chen curled his mouth, his eyes' periphery catching a glimpse of the hillside beside them and he suddenly froze, a thoughtful look flashing in his eyes.

"What is it?" Gong Yue noticed Jiang Chen's anomaly, her voice full of confusion as she asked.

Jiang Chen didn't answer Gong Yue's question, his brow furrowed slightly, a segment from his memories flashing through his mind.

It seemed... that in those memories, there was a news segment: just before Xi Mountain amusement park opened, a landslide occurred, crushing the visiting young master of the Sun Family...

Isn't this the young master of the Sun Family? Could it be...

Jiang Chen's face changed and he grabbed Gong Yue's hand. She was startled at first, wanting to pull back, but then she held back and a complex mix of surprise and emotions appeared in her eyes.

Hesitating for a moment, Jiang Chen then reached out and grabbed Li Susu's hand too, since she was Gong Lin's close friend, he couldn't let her come to harm.

"What are you..." Li Susu glared at Jiang Chen and raised her hand to pull away, angrily starting to scold.

But before Li Susu could finish her sentence, Jiang Chen, holding both their hands, bolted towards a spacious area on the side.

"Why are you such a coward? Bastard! Let me go!" Li Susu cursed loudly.

Gong Yue frowned at Jiang Chen. She didn't believe that Jiang Chen would be scared off by those few people across from them. She hesitated for a moment, then without struggling, followed Jiang Chen to the side.

When Sun Jianshan saw Jiang Chen running, he thought he was trying to escape and was about to call out. Jiang Chen, however, turned his head back and yelled, "Run fast, the hillside is collapsing! If you don't leave now, you will all die here!"

"Haha... what joke are you making?"

"Exactly, we have thoroughly tested this place, there's no way it could collapse!"

"This kid must be scared out of his wits, just finding any excuse!"

The employees of the amusement park all burst out laughing, and even Li Wenhao and the others looked at Jiang Chen with disdain.

"What are you laughing at? Run!" Jiang Chen reached a safe clearing and seeing that Sun Jianshan and the others were still standing there, he yelled out again.

"Stay here!" Seeing that no one was following, Jiang Chen faced Gong Yue and the other with a low shout, then he jumped and ran towards Sun Jianshan.
