Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Three elderly figures with completely white hair and beards appeared beside Elder Master Jiang, all of them looking toward Jiang Chen in the near distance.

"Wen Bo, who is that young man?" the elder in the center asked in a low voice.

Elder Master Jiang snapped back to reality and replied softly, "He is... Ming Long's son!"

"What? Ming Long's son?" the three elders exclaimed in unison.

Upon hearing their shouts, Ye Jingyi, Shen Xiaoqin, and Butler Lu came to their senses and all turned to look at the entrance of the courtyard.

Meanwhile, when the three elders appeared, Jiang Chen, Leng Ye, and Yan Hu all sensed their presence and had already turned their heads to look over.

"Butler Lu, are those the three great-grandfather-level old men you were talking about?" Jiang Chen asked Butler Lu in a low voice while looking at Elder Master Jiang and the four at the courtyard entrance.

Butler Lu nodded and said, "Yes, those are the three old masters. Young Master, go over and meet them, please!"

"What's going on?"

"How did the building collapse?"

"What happened here?"

"Isn't that Auntie Shen's residence?"

A buzz of commotion arose from outside the gate of the fifth courtyard.

One of the three elders beside Elder Master Jiang turned to look for a moment, then the one in the center said in a low voice, "Wen Bo, have the lad come to the ancestral hall tonight."

Having given their instructions, the three elders looked at Jiang Chen once more before leaping towards the sixth courtyard.

"Grandpa!"

"Uncle!"

A group of people from the Jiang Family arrived at the entrance of the courtyard, greeted Elder Master Jiang, and then turned their gazes to the ruins in front of Jiang Chen and the others.

"What happened here?"

"Why is Jiang Chen holding a bloody knife? Did he kill someone?"

"My god, it couldn't be that he brought down the building with a single slash, could it?"

The Jiang Family's younger members whispered amongst themselves as they looked at the ruins.

Jiang Chen glanced at the younger members of the Jiang Family, reversed the Bloody Saber into Yan Hu's cane, turned around, and walked towards the sixth courtyard, once again ignoring Elder Master Jiang.

Butler Lu glanced at Elder Master Jiang and stepped forward to lead the way for Jiang Chen, while Shen Xiaoqin, Ye Jingyi, and Yan Hu nodded towards Elder Master Jiang and followed suit.

As they walked into the gate of the sixth courtyard, Jiang Chen was slightly taken aback.

In front of him were rows of pavilions, whereas the fifth courtyard consisted of standalone pavilions. In the sixth courtyard, however, there was one on the east side and one on the west, with two more to the north, and that was all.

The four pavilions were connected by stone pathways, with greenery in between. Behind the two pavilions close together to the north, there was a dense copse, and Jiang Chen gave it a long, deep look. He could sense that within the woods, three presences were watching them.

"Young Master, that loft over there is yours," Butler Lu pointed to the loft on the eastern side.

"Whose are these?" Jiang Chen pointed to the lofts on the western and northern sides.

Butler Lu replied with a light chuckle, "The two lofts to the north, the one on the left belongs to the Elder Master, and the one on the right was originally intended for the current Family Head. However, direct descendants are not allowed to live in the sixth courtyard, so that one is currently empty. The loft on the western side is reserved for some important guests."

"Oh," Jiang Chen nodded lightly and walked into the loft on the eastern side with Ye Jingyi and the others.

In the sixth courtyard, the lofts all have four floors: the first floor houses the living room, kitchen, dining room, and storage; the second and third floors contain guest rooms; and the fourth floor accommodates the master bedroom and study. There is a public restroom on the first floor, while the other floors each have a private restroom in every room. Their luggage was already neatly arranged in the living room.

After a quick division, Jiang Chen and Ye Jingyi naturally took the master bedroom on the fourth floor, Shen Xiaoqin and Leng Ye stayed on the third floor, and Yan Hu on the second floor.

Watching everyone begin to unpack, Butler Lu excused himself and left.

After sorting things out briefly, the five, including Jiang Chen, gathered in the living room.

"Chen'er, you were a bit impulsive. Your second uncle will definitely not let this go!" Shen Xiaoqin looked at Jiang Chen with concern.

Jiang Chen shook his head gently and said sternly, "Mom, I had to do it. If you were bullied and I remained indifferent, could I even call myself a human?"

"But you can't just..." Shen Xiaoqin still seemed worried.

Jiang Chen cut her off with a light laugh, "Mom, don't worry. You saw what your son is capable of. Jiang Mingqian can't do anything to me."

"No, after all, this is the Jiang Family, not Dingjing or Jinhai. You've just returned and acting like this is not conducive to integrating into the family," Shen Xiaoqin frowned and said.

Elder Master Jiang looked at Ye Jingyi with a light chuckle, followed her to the sofa and sat down, then turned to look at Jiang Chen.
