Chapter 88 Come on Sue Me_1

Lan Lan was stunned for a moment, taking the bank card with surprise.

Because the bank card was too beautiful.

"Haha, what a great pretender! There's no money in the card, right? Then you're going to say you forgot the card with the money at home? That's an old trick!" Sister Hu was slightly startled, then mocked again. She just couldn't believe that someone who rode an electric bike could afford clothes worth 1.6 million yuan.

"Wanguo Bank's Black Gold Card?!"

An exclamation suddenly arose as a customer recognized Jiang Chen's bank card.

"A Black Gold Card from Wanguo Bank? Doesn't that card require at least a hundred million to be issued?"

"Wow, this guy wears clothes from a street stall but wields a Wanguo Bank Black Gold Card. That's seriously low-key!"

"Do all rich people keep such a low profile? Seems like we're really far from understanding the truly wealthy!"

The people around all exclaimed in amazement.

Sister Hu was dumbfounded, staring at Jiang Chen's bank card as if she wished she could snatch it away.

Clothes worth 1.6 million yuan, that would mean so much commission! And if such a big customer is well maintained, getting him to shop regularly could mean a continuous stream of commissions! Now, that newcomer girl gets all the benefits. I'm so full of regret!

Sister Hu's face was full of remorse as she dejectedly ran back to the entrance.

Lan Lan was bewildered, blinking in disbelief as she looked at Jiang Chen.

"What's wrong? Please wrap it up for me," Jiang Chen said with a light laugh, watching Lan Lan.

"Sure, sure, just a moment," Lan Lan snapped out of her daze, nodding hurriedly, then turned to fetch the clothes and start wrapping them.

Having bought a limited-edition Dior outfit for Ye Jingyi, Jiang Chen himself bought a new set of clothes in the regular area and also some sunglasses.

"So handsome!"

"Yeah, totally handsome. The truly rich look handsome in anything they wear."

"Handsome, young, and rich, and most importantly, willing to spend money on his girl while being frugal on himself. Guys like him are really one in a million. I'm so jealous of his girlfriend."

When Jiang Chen came out dressed in his new clothes, a group of clerks started discussing him like love-struck teenagers. Although he had bought regular clothes for himself, no one would think of Jiang Chen as unrefined anymore; they would simply see it as a display of modesty.

After purchasing his clothes, Jiang Chen put on the sunglasses and prepared to leave.

"Hey! What about that Dior limited edition dress?" a voice suddenly called out. Jiang Chen glanced over, about to walk away, but then he paused.

The woman asking about the dress was a flamboyantly dressed lady, and the man she was holding onto was none other than Wang Dongyang.

What's this all about? He had just finished lunch, and the person with Wang Dongyang wasn't Ye Yanni but another woman?

This was looking like an affair.

Jiang Chen muttered to himself, but he didn't expose them and took steps to leave.

The woman heard from a salesperson that the dress had been sold and showed a face of displeasure: "Who bought it?"

The salesperson pointed at Jiang Chen heading toward the exit: "That gentleman right there."

"Darling..." the woman immediately clung to Wang Dongyang, swaying her body.

Wang Dongyang was already in a bad mood today; otherwise, he wouldn't have been seeking solace with his mistress straight out of a hotel. Now that his mistress had a request, of course, he had to step up.

"Stop right there!"

Wang Dongyang stepped forward and blocked Jiang Chen. Jiang Chen had sunglasses on, and with his new clothes, Wang didn't recognize him.

Jiang Chen said nothing, simply staring at him through the sunglasses.

Wang Dongyang said arrogantly, "Give me the dress, and I will pay you for it."

Jiang Chen shook his head slightly, deliberately lowering his voice, "No deal."

"You..." Wang Dongyang's expression darkened as he lifted two fingers in front of Jiang Chen, "Double the price, give me the dress."

"Not for sale."

Jiang Chen replied with a deep voice and took steps toward the entrance.

"You stop right there!" Wang Dongyang grabbed Jiang Chen, "What's the matter, too proud to accept a favor? Do you know who I am?"

Jiang Chen furrowed his brows, raised his hand to knock Wang Dongyang's hand away, and turned to leave without caring to deal with him.

"Hand it over to me." Wang Dongyang stepped forward, attempting to snatch the clothes from Jiang Chen's hand.

"Slap—"

Out of annoyance, Jiang Chen brushed off Wang Dongyang's hand and casually slapped the bothersome guy across the face.

Wang Dongyang covered his face, momentarily stunned.

What's going on today, why does everyone think they can hit me?

Immediately, he cursed loudly, "You dare to hit me, believe it or not, I'll make sure you're dead."

As he spoke, he started throwing punches and kicks at Jiang Chen, all of which Jiang Chen dodged. Wang Dongyang bellowed, "If you're so tough, stop dodging."

Jiang Chen gave a cold laugh and stood his ground; Wang Dongyang took the opportunity to throw a punch at him.

Jiang Chen indeed did not dodge; he threw a punch right back.

"Bang—crack!"

Jiang Chen's punch landed on Wang Dongyang's fist, and the sound of bones misaligning could be heard.

"My hand!" Wang Dongyang cried out in pain, clutching his wrist and bending over.

"Ah... darling, are you alright?" The lady rushed up to support Wang Dongyang and glared at Jiang Chen, "You hit someone? I'm calling the police to arrest you."

Jiang Chen was somewhat speechless, it was clear they were the ones pestering him all along.

Wang Dongyang looked up, glaring fiercely at Jiang Chen, "Kid, if you dare, take off those sunglasses. Stop hiding, let me see who you are, I swear I'll make you rot in jail."

Jiang Chen couldn't hold back his anger and let out a cold laugh, "Oh really?"

Right then, he reached to remove his sunglasses, mocking Wang Dongyang, "Come on then, sue me."

Jiang Chen?! Wang Dongyang was stunned. He hadn't expected this man to be Jiang Chen, especially while he was out shopping with his mistress. If Ye Yanni found out about this, good heavens...

Wang Dongyang shivered uncontrollably.

But the lady was still arrogantly insisting, "Kid, you better apologize to my darling right now, and then willingly hand over the clothes to us, or we're going to sue you."

Jiang Chen scoffed and, looking straight at Wang Dongyang, asked with a sneer, "Do you think it's time for me to apologize, or is it perhaps you who should be apologizing?"

The lady yelled, "Obviously, you!"

"Shut up." Wang Dongyang shouted at the lady and turned to Jiang Chen with a bow, repeatedly apologizing, "Sorry, sorry, it was my fault, uh..."

At this point, Wang Dongyang was almost kneeling to Jiang Chen. He absolutely couldn't let Ye Yanni learn about this affair; the Ye Family was more influential than his own. If Ye Yanni knew about this, he was doomed.

"I don't care about your mess," Jiang Chen muttered and walked out of the brand store.

Watching Jiang Chen leaving, Wang Dongyang, unsettled, started scheming again.

...

Jiang Chen truly didn't take Wang Dongyang's issues to heart; Wang Dongyang was a scumbag, and Ye Yanni was no good woman, he didn't care to get involved in their affairs.

After leaving, he remembered Ye Jingyi's words that her grandfather liked antiques and paintings. Although Ye Jingyi said she would gift it, Jiang Chen couldn't just do nothing, so he hopped onto his electric bike and headed to Jinhai's antique market.

He strolled and browsed until he reached a painting shop, looking around casually.

The shopkeeper was attending to a young man dressed in designer clothes, visibly excited by what must have been a big deal. Noticing Jiang Chen entering, the shopkeeper glanced at him and then ignored him.

Suddenly, his attention was drawn to a conversation between two people nearby.
