Rex Matona was the CEO of a multinational company that was working with the governments of several nations in developing a measure against the terrifying Titan class Mecha beasts.

But no one knew that he was actually a spy from a certain troublesome nation and was playing all the other world leaders to be fools. He was basically using the money and resources of those nations to create something for his own country.

But unfortunately for him, something went wrong two days ago and he lost all contact with the secret research centre. In a situation like this, according to the protocol given to him, he was supposed to use a powerful bomb to blow everything, including the people and the results, away.

But as this thing was supposed to be his ticket to greatness, without knowing exactly what had happened there, Rex could not bring himself to destroy all of it.

As he was struggling to make up his mind, suddenly the communication channel that was blocked for the last two days opened and became available once more. And just a few seconds after that, he got contacted by three people who were his very capable men sent to infiltrate the secret base acting as the researchers.

As soon as he heard what had happened, he immediately hardened his heart and decided to give up on his ticket to greatness. This was a very hard decision for him to make but he made the decision none the less.

The reason for making this decision was simple. After this trouble, the nations involved in this would definitely launch a full scale investigation in the secret research centre. This way, his hidden identity as a foreign spy would come to the light.

So if he could blow away the whole place including the witnesses, then he would be out of danger. Later on, he just needed to make the excuse that he needed to blow the whole place apart in order to make sure that the dangerous experiment results could not get out of it.

And even if he was criticised for making this decision, as long as his identity as a foreign spy was hidden, everything else was fine. So with this in mind, he activated a satalite positioned high in sky that dropped an orbital grand annihilation missile toward the research centre.

After he heard the sound of the blust that was audible even hundreds of kilometres away in his current location, he finally managed to relax.

Even though his hard work for many years was destroyed, as he had the recently reported results of this place with him, he could just start the whole research again with new researchers.

As he was thinking this, suddenly his body started to fade away. This was something that he had experienced before. It was teleportation or spatial shift.

But he had not activated any items capable of doing this. So Rex had no idea why he was suddenly being teleported or where his teleportation destination was. So he wad panic stricken for obvious reason.

But even though he was a rich CEO, without having any understanding of the space concept, he was powerless to stop his transfer through the space.

So soon, he disappeared from his room and appered in the middle of a place that was still burning with extremely hot looking fire. But just as he was about to start screaming in pain, he noticed that he was not being damaged by the fire at all.

Noticing this, he managed to calm down a little bit and started to look around him. Then he finally noticed the researchers around him giving his hostile glares and a beautiful blue haired lady standing before him with a serious expression on her face.

Currently Zeta was feeling extremely angry. As she was someone who really loved her fellow inhabitants of the garden of Eden, seeing that someone was trying to kill all the people under him just to hide his own dirty secrets was something that hit all the wrong nerves in her.

This was actually nothing unusual. Something similar had been happening from the beginning of time and it will continue to happen until the final end. But for Zeta, it was her first encounter with something like this. So she was very much effected by this and had gotten angry.

When the powerful bomb had made impact, Zeta had turned everything around her into something illusory by shifting the space and time for everyone and everything. That even included this man whom she had brought here from several hundreds of kilometres away.

But now, she suddenly stopped protecting him with the space and time shift. At the same time, she also cast a very powerful continuous healing magic spell on his body.

As soon as this happened, Rex's body started to burn with the fire that he himself was responsible for. But as burn marks covered his body and some parts startes to turn into ash, the healing spell activated and regenerated all the damage that he had taken.

But as he was still in contact with the fire, he started to take damage again and felt an insane amount of pain. As he tried to somehow move away from the fire, suddenly he found that he was unable to move his body anymore. He was locked in the space.

So the only thing he was capable of doing was to feel the insane amount of pain and scream his lungs out. But obviously, as he had no experience of pain tolerance, he fainted very soon with his mind being almost broken because of the pain.

Zeta could have make him to wake up from the unconscious state but she did not do so. She was not ruthless enough for this kind of things.

So what she did next was to get rid of the fire and the all the aftermath of the bomb blust. Only after making sure that everything was fine, she cancelled her space and time shifting technique and everything became normal.

Even though the researchers had managed to get a good general idea about what was happening by simply observing the events, they were still not sure. So one of the came to Zeta and asked her about it.

But Zeta did not give him any immediate answers for the time being. She was waiting for the people of various nations to come and then she could tell what she had to say in front of everyone once. This would save her a lot of effort.

So this way, the danger of this research centre finally came to an end with Zeta's involvement in it.
