Lin Jie's car spun in place. Lin Jie fought to stabilize the car, only coming to a stop after crashing into a wall.

Lin Jie's head hit the car, and Xu Lei also struck the car window in an instant, her eyelids turning white as severe pain surged through her brain.

In a daze, Xu Lei seemed to grasp onto some consciousness.

"Where am I?" Xu Lei held her throbbing head, looking around in confusion.

The heavy truck, seeing an accident had occurred, fled immediately.

Ye Qiu, seeing it wasn't a major accident, only smashed into a wall, breathed a sigh of relief, yet still rushed towards Lin Jie's car.

Lin Jie rubbed his bleeding forehead, and seeing Ye Qiu running towards his car, he steeled his heart, started the car, and then rushed towards Ye Qiu.

Ye Qiu dodged and was unharmed. Lin Jie glared at Ye Qiu, but seeing Xu Lei seemed unwell, decided not to argue for now and started the car to leave.

"Don't go."

Ye Qiu immediately got into his own car and gave chase to Lin Jie.

The two raced down the streets and finally Lin Jie reached a towering building labeled Sky Dominator Group. After security opened the door, he rushed inside.

Ye Qiu was stopped at the entrance.

But Ye Qiu, seeing Lin Jie rushing inside, couldn't care less for Xu Lei. He stepped on the gas and crashed through the barriers.

"Stop! Stop! Report this! Someone is storming the headquarters, requesting backup."

Two security guards quickly advanced towards Ye Qiu with batons while reporting via the walkie-talkie.

Ye Qiu halted his car at the entrance as Lin Jie dragged Xu Lei into the building. Frustrated, Ye Qiu gritted his teeth and moved to chase them.

But upon entering, he slowly backed out.

Facing five or six dozen black-clad, sunglasses-wearing guards with guns, Ye Qiu was stunned; is this a police station?

"Haha, aren't you going to chase?"

Lin Jie breathed a sigh of relief, smirking at Ye Qiu who stood still.

"Who is this person, why are they chasing you?"

One forty-something man asked Lin Jie, eyes filled with killing intent glancing at Ye Qiu.

Lin Jie hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. The middle-aged man glanced at Xu Lei beside him, and coldly chuckled, "Lin Jie, Mr. Xu trusts you with tasks, a trust extended to your car team. But you keep messing around with women, tarnishing Mr. Liu's reputation. You'll end up dead because of a woman."

"Yes, yes, Brother Liu Meng is right, I know I was wrong."

This middle-aged man, dressed in black, was a close aide to Mr. Xu, so Lin Jie dared not offend him.

Seeing Lin Jie apologize, Liu Meng felt disdain, but needing Lin Jie's car team's assistance, he nodded then looked at Ye Qiu and said, "Kid, do you know where this is? You dared to barge in here, you're quite bold."

"He abducted my girlfriend, no matter how dangerous a place, I'll come in."

Despite sensing Liu Meng's complex stature and imposing demeanor, Ye Qiu was unafraid; at worst, it's just death, who fears whom?

Liu Meng nodded then said, "But do you know, this belongs to Mr. Xu's Earth Plate. You've rashly barged in, if Mr. Xu knew, you'd be in trouble. I can only apologize today."

Ye Qiu furrowed his brows.

Liu Meng waved a hand, "Get some people to teach him a lesson, remember, no guns, don't take his life."

Ye Qiu's words had earned Liu Meng's appreciation, so he spared Ye Qiu's life.

But unexpectedly, those underlings surrounding Ye Qiu were knocked to the ground within seconds.

Seeing his men groan in pain on the ground, Liu Meng's pupils contracted, and he looked at Ye Qiu, saying, "You're pretty good, no wonder you're confident. No matter how skilled Ye Qiu is, escaping seems impossible.

"What should I do?" Hearing the sound of cocking guns, Ye Qiu breathed rapidly, consumed by tension.
