Global Game: I Can Choose Instance Rewards

Chapter 227: Inspiration Conversation Entering the Instance (2)

No need for testing; Wang Zhifan was very sure that the humans of this world could definitely provide him with faith power, and the quality was likely higher than that of his two maids, Yi Lin and Yali, who were magical creatures, after all, they were living, highly intelligent humans, and exceptional ones from the Mystical World at that.

However, turning such a massive human resource into his own use was a huge challenge. Getting a free-spirited person to have faith in him would not be an easy task, as they had no spiritual connection with him and no loyalty either.

"This idea seems to have potential feasibility... just that the implementation would undoubtedly be very difficult, and it would certainly be time-consuming and labor-intensive..."

After pondering for a while, Wang Zhifan buried this idea deep in his heart. Although he currently didn't have the time for specialized research on this matter, he might come up with a rough plan later. Despite how difficult it might seem to achieve, the potential benefits upon success would be significant, making it worth a try.

"Let's not think about this now; it's getting late, I need to finish my errands and return to tackle the dungeon."

Wang Zhifan effortlessly leapt from the attic. What seemed like a dangerous endeavor for ordinary people was merely a form of play to someone with his physical condition. He estimated that it was getting late and thus didn't let his thoughts wander. He hurriedly found a restaurant, pulled out the silver coins he previously acquired from the Wuji Sect's storeroom, and began a large-scale procurement of food and tea for future use in dungeons and for satisfying his daily cravings.

Thus, after a busy period in this world, Wang Zhifan soon returned to the real world, back to his luxury BMW, and then drove back to the East City Villa.

When he arrived at the entrance to his villa, he found the place had become a bit lively, even somewhat crowded, as several trucks were parked at the entrance. These were for the fresh meat supplies he ordered today, as well as a massive 1000-kilowatt diesel generator comparable in size to a large vehicle, along with several pure water supplies and barrels of diesel.

Seeing this, he quickly got out of the car to open the villa gates, allowing people to transfer the purchased items inside. As he was almost finished managing everything, a luxury sedan pulled up at his villa's entrance.

"Fan! What did you buy? What's this big hunk of machinery?"

As Chen Ming, wearing high-grade casual wear, hopped out of the car, he saw Wang Zhifan directing workers with the cargo machine and curiously asked.

"You came, kid? This is a diesel generator I bought for backup during power outages."

Wang Zhifan nodded at him and casually explained.

"Oh... but Fan, isn't this generator a bit too large? How many watts is this?"

Chen Ming exclaimed with some bewilderment, likely seeing such a multi-ton generator for the first time.

But instead of answering him, Wang Zhifan turned to look behind Chen Ming at a young man who had just emerged from the sedan, a medium-height, well-proportioned man in his early twenties wearing glasses. His facial features bore some resemblance to Chen Ming, but his demeanor was more mature, dressed in rather upscale formal wear, with meticulously groomed black hair, giving off a first impression of a society elite.

"Fan! We meet again! I'm Chen Can, Can from the word for 'brilliant'."

This brother of Chen Ming was not one to shy away from social interactions. Seeing Wang Zhifan glance at him, he immediately stepped forward for a handshake, introducing himself with a smile.

"Pleased to meet you! We seem to be around the same age, so calling me 'brother' isn't necessary, just call me Ah Fan."

Wang Zhifan also smiled and exchanged handshakes and greetings.

"Fan, that's not an issue. With you being a veteran among players, calling you 'brother' feels perfectly fine."

Chen Can replied.

"Hehe, alright then, but you two should sit in the lounge for now; once I have the workers move all these into the villa, we'll start discussing business."

Wang Zhifan gestured towards the still-busy truck workers nearby.

"No problem, Fan."

Chen Cui glanced around without saying much.

As for Chen Ming, he was already next to the crates craning his neck to see what was inside, seemingly busier than the workers.

About fifteen minutes later, all of Wang Zhifan's purchases for that day were moved into the villa. The workers quickly drove the trucks away, while Wang Zhifan returned to the living room on the first floor of his villa, sat on the sofa, and began discussing dungeon affairs with the Chen brothers.

"Are you both ready? Once we enter this dungeon, we cannot exit at will; we can only return upon clearing it."

Wang Zhifan asked solemnly, particularly focusing on Chen Can, a new player who needed to pay extra attention.

"I'm ready; I might not be of much help, but I'm no longer in a wheelchair, and I promise not to hold you back, Fan."

Chen Ming responded lightly, recalling how he used a wheelchair during past dungeon quests. With his body now fully healthy, his confidence had soared.

"I'm ready."

When Wang Zhifan turned to him, Chen Can immediately nodded seriously, his eyes glinting with determination behind his glasses.

"Hmm... Ah Can, what class did you choose?"

Wang Zhifan asked about Chen Can's specific situation, confident in his ability to guide others through a dungeon but needing to understand his teammates' situations as well.

"I chose the marksman class."

The mature and steady young man with glasses answered promptly.

"Good, seems you did some research. The marksman class is one of the best choices for newbies, offering stable damage output with relatively lower risk."

Wang Zhifan nodded in appreciation upon hearing this.

"You've purchased a gun, right? The initial class weapons are usually subpar; it's best to replace them if possible."

He asked further.

"I have, and not just weapons; with Xiaoming's help, I selected a lot, including a rare-level pistol, a rare-level rifle, matching fine-layer bullets, a rare-level shirt, rare-level shoes, and a rare-level ring..."

Chen Can listed his prepared equipment in detail, causing Wang Zhifan to look somewhat astonished.

"The gap between a wealthy player and an ordinary player is indeed vast, starting out with such luxurious gear..."

Wang Zhifan quietly marveled at the power of money.

"You seem well-prepared in terms of resources; now it's just a matter of mindset. Dungeon experiences are unlike our daily life, usually requiring combat and bloodshed, sometimes facing terrifying monsters, or even needing to kill people — perhaps many people. I hope you're mentally prepared for that."

He advised Chen Can.

"Though I haven't had such experiences yet, I don't think it will be much of an issue. I pride myself on being very adaptable."

Chen Can responded after a brief contemplation.

"Confidence is good... And make sure you're ready too, Xiaoming. You may be a priest, but you also need combat capabilities. I remember you having a gun too, right?"

Wang Zhifan looked at Chen Ming, who seemed a bit too relaxed.

"Yep, I even practiced at the shooting range in the capital recently; I'm among the top three shooters in my group of friends!"

Chen Ming replied confidently.

"Alright, since that's the case, let's prepare to enter the dungeon."

Having reached this point in the conversation, Wang Zhifan didn't mother them any further. He initiated the group formation using the player panel, then, as the team leader, confirmed the entrance to the dungeon.

Suddenly, the familiar sensation of dizziness swept over and quickly dissipated. When he looked around again, he found that the three of them had arrived at a coastline tinged with a salty, fishy smell in the air.
