Chapter 84: Don't Worry

The middle-aged man in a leather jacket had just finished his proposal when Wang Zhifan, who was calm-faced, hadn't yet expressed his opinion. The female player with the knife next to him shook her head with a frown.

"No way, this plan is too dangerous for us. Although we are warriors of the knife profession, our defense capabilities aren't much stronger than you two. Rushing recklessly can easily lead to problems.

In my view, it's best to let your big bear charge ahead to take a wave of attacks, then the two of us will seize the chaos to harvest, while the gunner finds a chance to take out those archers."

The knife-wielding young woman dressed in tight-fitting black clothing with long hair then proposed her modification to the plan.

"Actually, your plan isn't impossible..."

The middle-aged man in a leather jacket listened to the knife-wielding player's words, and a thoughtful expression immediately appeared on his face.

"But if my Bear Treasure and Eagle Treasure directly face so many strong enemies' attacks, the pressure they endure might be too great at once. If they're accidentally heavily injured or even killed, dealing with the dragon afterward would be troublesome."

The beast tamer's words were not without reason. His proposed plan took into account both his summoned beasts and the entire dungeon's arrangement. Otherwise, because of poor strategy leading to power losses halfway, clearing the dungeon later would be much harder.

"If you're worried about this, just summon your other pets to join the fight. I imagine you have more than these two combat pets, right?"

The female player with the knife continued, somewhat indifferently, showing she was still unwilling to follow the middle-aged man's summons into the midst of enemies.

"I do have a few more pets, but my summoning ability is limited and consumes resources. If I summon them now and use up my skills, it will be impossible to fight the dragon later."

The middle-aged man in a leather jacket immediately countered the knife-wielding player's opinion, stating he does indeed have reserves, but they are meant for the dungeon BOSS fight and shouldn't be used prematurely.

"Summoning classes have such limitations? Can't summon pets at will? How come I haven't heard much about it?"

The long-haired knife-wielding young woman now listened to the beast tamer's explanation and her eyes squinted slightly, showing a look of skepticism about his words.

"Hey, you two, stop arguing."

The nearby young gunman saw these two were on the verge of quarreling and promptly interrupted their conversation.

"Why don't you, old brother, try scouting the positions of all the archer dragon guards with the golden eagle? I'll see if there's a chance to take some out and relieve pressure for you."

He offered his opinion.

"Little brother, it's not as easy as you think."

The middle-aged man in a leather jacket shook his head after hearing the young gunman's opinion and explained:

"To prevent my Eagle Treasure from prematurely exiting, I can't let it get too close to those archers. It's difficult to use reconnaissance alone to find all their hiding spots. Even if luck is good and it finds a few, from the results I've just obtained, those archers are basically hiding behind large trees or rocks, at least three hundred meters away. Without finding a way to lure them to attack, it's hard to get a chance to shoot them."

"Tsk... how can a grown man be so nagging?"

After hearing the lengthy explanation from the middle-aged man in a leather jacket, the long-haired knife-wielding woman who had almost argued with him earlier seemed impatient, and she continued to speak:

"Why don't we compromise a bit? I'll still insist on your two pets rushing up first, but the two of us warriors will follow more closely. Once they attract the attention of those dragon guards, we'll immediately follow to kill enemies. Does that sound good?"

The long-haired young woman in tight-fitting black clothes now seemed to have eyes widening a bit, indicating this concession was her last resort.

"Okay then, fine."

The middle-aged man in a leather jacket nodded and expressed his concession seeing the situation seemed to become a bit unpleasant. After all, at their level, they were well aware of how important team harmony was. If internal conflicts started, team annihilation wouldn't be far off.

But just as these few people wrapped up their discussion and were preparing to implement the compromise strategy, they suddenly noticed a significant movement from a certain quiet young member who had been largely unnoticed.

Not knowing when, the only male knife-wielding player present had lost the long knife and handgun in his hands. Suddenly, he made several quick jumps to the top of steep rocks on the mountain path, reaching more than ten meters high. While the few below were somewhat puzzled about why he was showing off his jumping skills, he had already pulled out a black sniper rifle over two meters long, large to the point of being intimidating, and set it up on snow-covered rocks in front of him. He crouched down, squinting his eyes, and began intently focusing on the sniper scope, observing the situation ahead using the large scope equipped on this massive sniper rifle.

"?"

The three players on the mountain path below the cliff were momentarily puzzled by Wang Zhifan's actions, suddenly looking up and seeing the youth aiming through the sniper scope, their heads filled with question marks.

They were both surprised by the low-key teammate suddenly demonstrating extraordinary jumping ability and bewildered by how he managed to produce such a gigantic sniper rifle that seemed far from ordinary.

Several seconds later, amidst somewhat awkward silence, the middle-aged man in a leather jacket was the first to call out to Wang Zhifan crouched at the high vantage point, gazing through the scope.

"Little brother, what are you doing?"

The beast tamer middle-aged man's heart was filled with bewilderment, for he didn't understand why Wang Zhifan suddenly went to the effort of jumping to a high point to aim the scope. He knew very well the restricted field of vision of sniper scopes made them impractical for finding hidden enemies, and those archer dragon guards liked to hide behind rocks or trees without revealing themselves. Even if the scope coincidentally found their positions, their traces wouldn't be visible.

But Wang Zhifan at the top didn't respond at this moment; he continued aiming through the sniper scope, then after about two seconds, he suddenly pulled the trigger of the enormous firearm in front of him.

Bang!

A sound surprisingly mismatched with the size of the huge sniper rifle resonated from above, and after two seconds, the group below heard a booming noise from afar as something shattered.

"Don't worry, I've already taken out one archer dragon guard, three remain."

Crouched high at the side of the mountain road near the cliff, Wang Zhifan then turned and explained to his three teammates below who were looking somewhat bewildered.
