Tech Dominator Starts with Raising Kids

Chapter 61: Going Home!

Early in the morning, just as the sky began to brighten, Mo Jingchun got up carefully.

The little one was still blissfully unaware, sleeping soundly in her sleeping bag.

In the kitchen, Mo Jingchun boiled a pot of hot water and simply cooked a bowl of vegetable noodle soup.

After finishing the noodles, he cleaned the kitchen spotlessly and took all the trash from the bins down to the dumpster below the apartment building.

After tidying everything up, Mo Jingchun returned to the bedroom, and the little one was still sleeping soundly like when he first got up.

Going home, Mo Jingchun didn't bring too much, just a suitcase with a few clothes for him and his younger sister.

As for diapers, Mo Jingchun only brought enough for the trip home, planning to buy more at a store once they arrived.

One has to admit, having some money truly makes life much more comfortable.

Entering the bedroom, Mo Jingchun sat by the bed and gently nudged his younger sister, Candy, softly and gently calling into her ear, "Candy, Candy, wake up, we're going home together."

"Little sleepyhead, time to get up."

The little one, awakened by Mo Jingchun's nudge, groggily opened her eyes, squinted at Mo Jingchun, then closed her eyes again, ready to continue sleeping.

Mo Jingchun's lips curled into a slight smile, this little one, does she think it's Sunday today? Planning to secretly sleep until she's hungry before getting up.

"Candy, time to get up and drink your milk."

Little sleepyhead, can big brother not deal with you?

Sure enough, the temptation of milk is enormous.

No matter how big the issue, it shouldn't interfere with meals.

People who don't eat on time truly have no soul.

The little one was taken out of the sleeping bag by Mo Jingchun, obediently lying on Mo Jingchun's lap, letting him help her dress.

"Alright, big brother will take you to drink your milk."

"Bwo bwo~"

"Drink~"

"Yes, drink milk."

"Milk~"

"Yes, drink milk."

The little one gulped down the milk from the bottle eagerly.

Holding his sister Candy, Mo Jingchun looked at the neatly arranged pile of milk powder tins in the corner of the living room and couldn't help but sigh, the little one drinks milk powder so fast, one can of milk powder is gone in a little over a week.

This is even with the little one eating Xiaomi porridge alongside.

If he hadn't had the ability to earn money now, Mo Jingchun would really worry whether the little money left in his card could support him and his sister until he graduated from college in four years.

Luckily, Mo Jingchun is a man with a system.

System: Heaven and earth, the host still remembers me!

"Let's go, time to head home."

The Academician Chen from the house opposite hadn't been seen for a long time, no one knew where he went.

Mo Jingchun shook his head, not thinking much more about it, closed the door, and locked it with the key.

Just as he was about to leave, pushing the stroller and dragging the suitcase, Mo Jingchun stopped, went back to close all power sources, unplugged everything, and then confidently started his journey home with the stroller.

Arriving at the entrance of the high-speed rail station, seeing the dense crowd lining up to enter, Mo Jingchun was taken aback.

This many people!

When he first came for school, there weren't nearly as many people.

If not for the fact that high-speed trains didn't require ticket collection anymore, Mo Jingchun seriously suspected that many passengers missed their trains due to queuing for tickets every year.

Once missed, they might not get home before the new year, as tickets were practically sold out, making it hard to grab tickets again.

Mo Jingchun pushed the stroller and started queuing to enter the station, while the little one in the stroller, wearing a hat, looked around excitedly. If she could stand and walk, she'd surely be scurrying around the crowd.

After finally getting into the station, the crowded waiting hall made it hard even to find a spot to stand, let alone sit.

Fortunately, Mo Jingchun didn't wait too long in the waiting hall, about twenty minutes later, he heard the announcement for the train he booked.

Unlike the small high-speed rail station in his hometown city, Jing City Station had escalators and elevators at all platforms for the convenience of passengers in need.

Getting out of the elevator, Mo Jingchun pushed his sister, Candy, and found his window seat, a deliberately chosen spot.

Initially, Mo Jingchun planned to buy a business class seat, spacious and comfortable without bothering others.

But seeing the severalfold price difference, he gave up.

Emm, the extra money could buy Candy two cans of milk powder, enough for half a month.

In just half a year, Mo Jingchun matured a lot, especially with a few silver strands of hair at the back of his head and his rough facial skin, he didn't look like the naive child from half a year ago anymore.

The journey went smoothly, without any odd looks at Mo Jingchun, who was traveling alone with a child.

Arriving at the destination, Mo Jingchun left the high-speed rail station and didn't see the policeman who had given him money back then.

Nor did he have anyone sending him off like when he went to school.

After some twists and turns by taxi, just as night fell, the taxi driver finally dropped Mo Jingchun at the roadside in front of his home.

"Goodbye, driver."

Mo Jingchun took a deep breath of the fresh hometown air, feeling much more relaxed.

That's probably why so many people insist on going home for the new year, despite being far from home.

After a day of labor and hustle, only at home can one rest and recharge for ten days to half a month, ready to continue the journey.

That's life for most ordinary people.

At this moment, Mo Jingchun's phone rang, it was his uncle, Mo Changyou calling.

"Xiaochun, where are you? It's getting dark, why aren't you here yet?"

"Uncle, I'm at the intersection, just got out of the car."

"Alright, your aunt has cooked dinner, come and eat first, then go back. Otherwise, it's so late, who knows how long it will take you to cook yourself a meal."

Mo Jingchun knew his uncle was speaking the truth. The house hadn't been lived in for half a year, the dust probably settled up to a few millimeters thick.

The kitchen wasn't something that could be cleaned up in a short while.

Looking at the bread he had packed in the canvas bag, Mo Jingchun chuckled, covered it with the little one's diaper, and hid it away.

Walking through the bamboo grove, Mo Jingchun saw his uncle and aunt standing at the gate, along with a taller young man.

"You're back!"

"Uncle, Aunt." Mo Jingchun called out to his uncle and aunt first, then nodded to the young man.

"Oh, let auntie have a look, has our Candy gotten thinner?"

The little one was a bit scared of the enthusiastic aunt but didn't refuse.

"Come, let's eat first."

"Okay."

At the table, seeing Candy, chubby and well-taken care of by Mo Jingchun, the whole family admired Xiaochun.

That evening, Mo Changyou was so happy he had an extra drink.
