Fang Zhou could feel his body reaching its limit.
His muscles and bones had become exceptionally tough under the pressure of double gravity, but his internal organs and blood vessels were under enormous pressure.
He could clearly feel his heart pounding violently in his chest, as if it might rupture at any moment, and his lungs burned with unbearable pain.
What worried him even more was the thick taste of blood in his mouth and the signs of internal bleeding.
Military academy, oh military academy... are you testing my limits? Fang Zhou thought with a bitter smile.
But he knew he couldn't stop or back down now. Giving up would mean all his previous efforts had been for nothing.
So he gritted his teeth and continued to accelerate, pushing himself forward with sheer willpower.
As his speed continued to increase, his vision began to blur. By this point, he had already run nineteen kilometers.
For him, this intense competition was finally nearing its end and entering the final sprint.
Fang Zhou went all out, sprinting forward with all his might and crossing the finish line first.
The moment he completed the twenty-kilometer, double-gravity run, the instructor deactivated the Gravity Bracelet and Ambition Bracelet on his wrist.
As if an extremely heavy burden had been lifted, Fang Zhou suddenly felt an "ascendant" lightness, his body seemingly regaining its freedom.
However, even so, after reaching the finish line, he couldn't help but vomit a mouthful of turbid, blood-tinged liquid.
This liquid contained blood, digestive fluids, and tiny fragments of his organs—a testament to how the inhumanly intense training had churned his insides into a chaotic "offal soup."
Although Fang Zhou appeared able to stand, he was actually on the brink of collapse, having nearly exhausted half his life force.
"Medical personnel, deploy," Instructor Lu Hu's voice sounded in his ear. A team of medics in white uniforms quickly rushed toward Fang Zhou, carrying various medical devices.
The medical personnel acted swiftly to repair his body and restore his stamina.
They didn't use traditional surgery or stitches; instead, they applied the power of Professionals.
Fang Zhou observed briefly and, combining it with knowledge from his textbooks, surmised that the medics were using techniques that likely included flesh-and-blood repair technology and special Life Potions.
They operated skillfully, injecting the potions into Fang Zhou's body. At the same time, they used a beam-like device to scan back and forth across the surface of his body, promoting wound healing and restoring organ function.
Although Fang Zhou wasn't sure how many contribution points this entire treatment was worth, he understood that it certainly wasn't a small amount.
During the treatment, Fang Zhou made only one request: to be injected with more Physical Recovery Potions.
He hoped to regain his stamina quickly to face any challenges that might lie ahead.
A long while after Fang Zhou finished his sprint, Ye Fan and Zhao Yuan crossed the finish line at nearly the same time.
The moment the instructor deactivated the effects of their bracelets, Ye Fan immediately looked at Fang Zhou, his eyes filled with a complex expression.
He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could speak, he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and was promptly taken away by the medical personnel for treatment.
Ye Fan's stamina had also clearly reached its limit. His face was pale, and his eyes revealed a hint of fatigue and resentment.
The medics quickly surrounded him, supported him, and began emergency treatment.
Zhao Yuan was no exception, but the blood he spat out actually contained crystallized fragments of Earth Element.
Upon seeing the Earth Element fragments, Instructor Lu Hu's eyes flickered as if recalling something, and his expression changed slightly.
He then looked at Fang Zhou with confusion. What's going on with him? This batch of trainees includes an Earth Knight who is the most adapted to gravity. Fang Zhou is a frail Undead Mage. Even if he is an Upper Apprentice—a small rank above Zhao Yuan—how are his physique and Agility Attribute more terrifying than those of Ye Fan and Zhao Yuan?
Lu Hu had anticipated that Zhao Yuan, an Earth Knight, would have an advantage in his training performance due to his unique Power Attribute.
But Fang Zhou was different. He was purely an Undead Mage and had no Combat Skills to enhance his physical fitness!
Lu Hu was filled with speculation and confusion until he learned that Fang Zhou had suffered severe trauma during the training.
With the exception of his heart, Fang Zhou's internal organs had all necrosed.
Lu Hu reckoned that without prompt medical intervention, Fang Zhou would have dropped dead on the spot less than five minutes after finishing the run.
This kid was literally putting his life on the line, driven by a determination to push himself to the point of death! That explained his performance. It was through sheer willpower and a life-or-death resolve that Fang Zhou had found the ability to defeat Ye Fan and Zhao Yuan in the gravity run!
Realizing this, even though Lu Hu was decades older than Fang Zhou, he couldn't help but feel sincere admiration for the trainee's actions.
He didn't voice his thoughts, however. After confirming that Fang Zhou was recovering quickly under treatment, he turned his attention to the remaining seven trainees.
Meanwhile, Fang Zhou and the other two quietly received their treatment.
About five minutes later, Zhao Yuan and Ye Fan had both completed their treatments.
Although their faces remained somewhat pale, their bodily functions had mostly returned to normal.
At this point, however, Fang Zhou was still lying on the ground, where two medical personnel were busily repairing the damage to his body.
