"I'm back…" Daru muttered with a faint smile.
He couldn't help but feel more at home in the Myriad Sword Realm than in Neo-Earth.
Looking around, the (Elite) Lurker Leopard he was hunting was gone, so he could only look for a new target.
Daru began walking in search of another Swordspawn to kill.
But then, he realized something.
'Hmm…can I hunt spawns six levels higher than me now?'
His instructor's advice was not to exceed five, and so far, he hasn't lost a life because of it.
However, he was much stronger now, with a full set of B-tier armor that gave him quite a significant attribute boost.
He also now has three sword skills he could use to increase his chances of victory.
After a few seconds of pondering, he tapped his belt bag, prompting the inventory window to appear.
Around twenty out of the fifty slots were occupied now, and this was already after he equipped the three accessory items dropped by the six bladeborns he killed.
It was rather unfortunate that there was a chance of not dropping something upon death.
However, Daru was also quite lucky that Alopecion was among the three that did, allowing him to obtain the B-tier [Necklace of Scalpward] that boosted his vitality by five points
This was already huge, especially at such an early stage of the game.
Daru's overall hitpoints were now 1,150. He could probably take a few heavy hits now, depending on his opponent.
Aside from this, he obtained a few consumables from killing Havoc that would help him in combat.
One such item was a lesser-health pill.
While inferior to potions, he could use this to instantly restore a hundred points of health, which might seem little.
But in a close battle in the early stages, the item might mean the difference between life and death.
He also obtained one stamina and one strength tonic—consumables that would give him a small, instantaneous boost in the mentioned attributes, though only for five minutes.
All this made Daru more confident to take on larger spawns.
Like his classmates said, how could he overtake the high-rankers if he wasn't willing to take a few risks?
He was already far behind in terms of background.
If he wanted to stay ahead—if he was still even in the lead in the first place—then he had to work harder.
Daru absolutely loved the thought.
A faint smile appeared on his face as he burned in the flames of passion.
'Ahh…damn it…I can't wait to meet them…'
Ablaze, he decided to seek and take on a more difficult challenge, yearning to test his limits.
Daru was currently level 26, and the maximum level of swordspawns in the Sunblade Savannah was 32.
He would either have to head to the most dangerous part of the area or move on to the next.
'Let's try six levels higher first…'
And so, he made his way over to the area where the Sunblade Lion prides and the mightiest spawns of the savannah lived.
It took him forty-five minutes to arrive, though a large part of that was because he had to fight spawns on the way there, filling up his experience bar to a little less than a fourth.
This was simply how vast the Myriad Sword Realm was, and the Sword Trials do not care whether you are a novice with a limited time inside or not.
Daru climbed a nearby acacia, ensuring there was no Lurker Leopard above him before surveying the surroundings from a high vantage point.
The articles he read in the NeoNet stated that one should be extremely careful and be at least level thirty before attempting to go into this area alone.
Even then, they had to be extremely careful, as the Swordspawns here roamed within close proximity of each other.
Daru could easily see that.
On the left patrolled level thirty-one Hackstroke Hyenas, with a level thirty-two Matriarch Elite somewhere in the middle.
They were armed with a decent set of steel armor and dual steel shortswords sheathed in a cross on their backs.
It seemed they strictly roamed on their side, not daring to walk too close to the roaming Sunblade Lions, the kings and queens of the Swordspawns of the Sunblade Savannah.
The mighty spawns on the right were far fewer, but they looked far more intimidating.
"Haha, these guys would do…"
Daru had found his next leveling area and a juicy final target before he moved on to the rocky path leading to a much larger cave than the Fangforge Cavern.
In the grass and well protected by roaming Sunblade Lionesses was another field boss—one more intimidating than Havoc—lying lazily while picking its nose and flicking the booger aside.

'That's one tough spawn…' he mused.
As much as Daru wanted to fight it now, he was now quite experienced.
It was better to fill up his experience bar to the brim first before challenging the king.
His first target would have been the elite Hackstroke Hyena Matriarch, but unfortunately, there were way too many Hackstroke Hyenas around her.
He had to clear the area a bit first…
With a plan in mind, Daru descended the acacia, walking closer to the dual-wielding hyena spawns.
He lightly scratched his chin, pondering how to efficiently reach the elite.
Daru circled to the left. This part was still heavily guarded, but not as much as the other sides.
He then approached the closest Hackstroke Hyena, hoping to lure it a bit farther from its comrades.
However, the moment his target Swordspawn noticed him, his eyes widened.
The ears of the other Hackstroke Hyenas twitched, and around four of them simultaneously turned his way.
They then began "laughing" as they drew the swords on their backs.
Daru was stunned for a second.
But in the next, he gripped the handles of his tachi tighter, his lips curving into a smile.
"Oh? Four on one, huh? I haven't tried that yet, but sure… I'll take all of you on…"
A moment later, the swordspawns charged at him.
