Overpowered Awakening: I Became Invincible With A Broken Talent

Chapter 65: [Bonus] Golden Visitor [2]

_Lunari_

The overviews of the planet brought two immediate responses — Futuristic and vast.

It was about two times bigger than Arden, which was the same size as Earth, and from above, one could see just how technologically advanced the place was.

Massive cities sprawled across the continents, their structures gleaming like silver under the light of the twin suns. Hovering vehicles darted between towers that pierced the clouds, leaving trails of light that danced like shooting stars.

Despite the clear order in its design, there was a certain chaos in the movement below — the rush of machines, people, and energy that seemed endless. It was a place where power and innovation ruled, and even from this distance, one could clearly see and feel it.

In the dark blue sky above the planet, the fibers of the clouds were pierced by a sleek black spaceship, its roaring hum reaching the areas directly beneath as it descended toward the rooftop of a tall, massive structure marked with a big, clear 'M' indicating the landing spot.

At first, the ship's arrival was familiar to the Lunaris, a signature they recognized. But after a few seconds, noticing that the remaining twelve ships that had left alongside it were not coming, panic surged.

In seconds, the information spread through all the main units on the planet. In that same moment, using their teleportation technology, several nobles and generals with their soldiers began to arrive at the landing point one after the other. In a short amount of time, the area was filled with at least five hundred of them, and more appeared by the second.

The three Lunaris nobles watched the scene. It was a sight that would have made them proud in the past, proof of their army's responsiveness and reliability.

But now, the three of them lamented, knowing that no matter how many soldiers they summoned, the force approaching could not be toyed with.

Nonetheless, with those thoughts in their hearts, they still rode the ship and landed it perfectly on the roof. They opened the door and stepped out, their bodies shaken and still shivering from fright — a sight no one missed.

Dozens of nobles and generals approached at once.

"What happened?" one noble at the front asked, curiosity in his eyes, wondering what could have shaken his colleagues so badly.

"Where are the other ships? Why are you the only ones who returned?"

"Was the mission successful?"

Questions came one after another.

But the three shivering nobles were too shaken and emotionally drained to even form a response.

They lifted their gazes from their people and turned their heads to the dark blue sky.

The others, seeing this, also tilted their heads upward. And as though their focus had summoned it, the once peaceful sky suddenly began to grumble with thunder as lightning cracked repeatedly across the heavens.

Their brows furrowed in confusion as they wondered what was happening, their eyes fixed completely on the phenomenon taking place.

Not just them. Across the streets of their planet, Lunaris going about their usual routines halted and turned to face the sky with confusion.

Lunari was unlike Arden. Thunder and lightning were a very rare occurrence, and on most occasions, it was either the arrival of cataclysm-level threats or something far worse.

Right now, they feared it was the latter.

Nonetheless, their reaction was also different from Arden.

They did not flee. They simply observed.

This was because they had faith in their advanced weapons and their powerhouses to take care of the trouble before it could wreak havoc.

With this mentality, only sharp curiosity was visible on their faces as they watched the sky roar and crack violently.

Nonetheless, after about a minute of continuous lightning and thunder, just as suddenly as it came, it vanished, and the entire Lunari was plunged into silence.

But just before the silence could settle, a radiant golden veil spread across the entire sky.

This occurrence was new to everyone, and a subtle panic began to rise as the streets filled with questions.

The nobles and generals at the landing area of the returned ship turned to the three returnees, who were now shivering uncontrollably.

They realized something.

Whatever was approaching their planet was fiercer and stronger than anything they had ever faced, enough to make their colleagues shiver that much.

"Ready the destroyers at once. Prepare for war!"

Turning to the generals, the nobles announced in strict voices, and immediately the area turned into a beehive of chaotic activity.

The teleportation devices were engaged.

In a few seconds, several warships, looking like they had stepped straight out of a high-budget sci-fi epic, hovered into the air, each with designs far surpassing even the sleek spaceship.

These warships were massive, armored vessels bristling with turrets and energy launchers, capable of firing projectiles with the destructive power of missiles.

There were at least fifty of them floating around the area at this point, and not only that, the previous population of Lunaris had multiplied into over three thousand, each of them floating or standing, their battle-ready auras spreading across the place.

With their current power, they could take care of at least a dozen SS-rank, apocalypse-level threats with ease.

But would it be able to stop the threat approaching?

As if those questioning thoughts were the trigger, the harbinger of the supernatural changes and chaos finally made his presence known.

A humanoid figure wrapped in thick and powerful golden energy drifted from the clouds and appeared in their view.

The figure gradually descended towards them, and his appearance became clearer.

"W-what…"

Everyone had the same initial reaction.

They could not believe their eyes.

A mere human, a race they considered inferior, had made them panic.

It was impossible to believe.

But the only reason they had the opportunity to doubt was because Axel Storm had purposely reduced the intensity of the energy aura around him. He wanted only a short and clear overview of Lunari without destroying anything.

Axel Storm's blazing golden eyes overlooked the armies and heavy weapons facing him and observed the other parts of the planet, taking note of the lifeforms and the technology that surpassed his home planet by several folds. He even noted the teleportation devices.

But most of all, his gaze landed on a gigantic holographic projection in the middle of the city, which displayed a big golden book with the title The Cosmic Prophesy: The Originless One on its cover.

His eyes furrowed lazily.

"Hmmm… interesting."

Then his gaze scanned back to the army, who were now preparing their weapons to attack him. The nobles and generals were issuing orders, and he could hear the sound of engines roaring.

He heaved a long sigh.

"What a drag…"
