Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 129: Trials (Part 2)

"Candidate #Rahu has passed the second trial: The Trial of Spirit. The next trial will begin soon."

"What? Does this stupid inheritance have more trials?" Rahu spoke, his voice incredulous.

Suddenly, the void shook again. Vibrations and tremors filled them. Rahu glanced at the scene curiously.

At first, it was subtle. It was like shifting weight beyond perception. Then the vibration deepened, spreading outward in massive waves.

The darkness itself rippled, folding and unfolding.

Rahu frowned a bit; it wasn't mere spatial distortion. It was similar to… vomiting.

The ground beneath his feet began to tremble passively.

Then, suddenly, small points of distortion appeared through the air, appearing one by one. Then, dozens.

Figures…of men and women spilled out. One by one, then in clusters. Then all at once.

Bodies were slammed on the ground, and the cultivators slowly stood up. Rahu glanced at this scene in amusement. They were the cultivators of Solterra and Yvaris; all of them were Origin Realm. The only good thing was that there wasn't anyone below the Origin Realm.

But Rahu instantly noticed that some were missing from the Original ninety who had arrived pompously. Now, only sixty-five remained.

Some slowly staggered, and others collapsed.

They all slowly looked around and froze. No, not because of the tall, handsome looking at them amusingly. They were surprised because they weren't able to use their Mana!

But it was just the beginning! Rahu watched as the cultivators started to panic, but at the end of the day. They were the Origin Realm cultivators of ancient, powerful Houses. They quickly calmed down, especially a certain Gandhrava.

He calmly stood up and issued orders to his fellow clansmen. To the left, there was the same Yaksha who had confronted Rahu earlier.

He even saw that strange Rudhra who was chatting with him earlier.

Rahu shook his head and exhaled slightly, as the familiar feeling of his cultivation being stripped away washed over him.

Instantly, chaos erupted once again!

"M-My cultivation!?"

"I can't even use my physique!"

"N-No way! My bloodline is sealed too!!"

But suddenly, a wave of curiosity hit him. Raising his hand, he tried to use [Sword Sense], but nothing happened. It seems he can't even use his [Sword Sense], let alone [Sword Aura].

"...Rahu?"

A voice echoed behind, turning back. He saw the Rudhra guy walking towards him.

"No way, you are alive too. I thought you'd be dead in the second trial, given your arrogant nature." He chuckled, stopping in front of him. Since Rahu wasn't using the demonic transformation, his height was 190cm as of now.

Hearing his words, Rahu shook his head. "The trial was ass from the beginning, it wasn't too difficult once you figured out the pattern." Rahu shrugged; from his perspective, it was truly not that difficult. Especially the questions.

"Heh, well, no comments on that. Anyways, I haven't introduced myself, have I? The name's Eryx, Eryx Rudhra." Eryx spoke, his tone a bit proud.

"Heh, Eryx huh? I haven't seen such a well-mannered Rudhra. Are you sure you are a Rudhra?"

Rahu chuckled, hearing his words. Eryx shook his head and sighed. "I get that a lot. Do you know what's going on?"

"Nope"

"Then wh—"

Before Eryx could complete his words, an ancient, emotionless voice echoed.

[Trial condition: Absolute Equalization.]

[All cultivation, techniques, bloodlines, physiques, and artifacts are nullified.]

[Required survivors: Ten]

Instantly, every single cultivator turned their head towards the sky, gasping in horror. No cultivation and other powers? And the survivors required are ten? It was basically a death sentence.

At first, there was absolute silence. Then,

Chaos Erupted

A Nocthen cultivator lunged at the nearest Gandhrava, punching him in the face. Another screamed and shoved someone away.

Scenes like these could be seen everywhere; it was like a chain reaction. The Yakshas lunged at the Nocthen too, tearing them apart like primitives. The most savage were the Ravana's, with their huge body advantage and tough physiques; they rushed in tanks.

The Rudhras and the Asuras were at each other's throats, grabbing and punching each other.

They were all Origin Realm cultivators of immense pride and strength, but now they were reduced to this. Confusion gave way to fear, and that quickly turned into violence.

A Gandharva staggered back from the blow, blood spraying from his lips. He barely had the time to let out a scream before another cultivator tackled him onto the ground.

Fists rose and fell frantically, raw and brutal. Until the bone met with a sickening crack. The poor Gandharva's body went limp.

The Nocthen laughed outloud, before being dragged away by someone by his hair.

Elsewhere, two Rudhras charged like an unchained beast, one of them grabbed an Asura by his shoulder and yanked his hand back, breaking his arm. The Asura shrieked, clawing uselessly, until the Rudhra twisted violently and gouged out his eyes.

The second Ruhra slammed the man to the ground and stomped hard on his throat. Asura's scream was cut off in an instant as blood sprayed.

The Ravanas were worse; they were like living rams, they just advanced forward.

One Ravana lowered his shoulder and plowed straight through a cluster of cultivators, bodies scattering like mere pins.

A Rudhra tried to grapple him, but too bad. The Ravana wrapped both his monstrous arms around the man's torso and squeezed. The Rudhra let out a painful whimper before his ribs caved inward in dull crush. The Rudhra's eyes bulged, foam spilling from his mouth, before his body hung down lifelessly.

Nearby, the woman and the man. Were equally ferocious, going at each other's throats, after a few deaths. They suddenly realized it couldn't be over with fighting like savages.

So, they quickly regrouped with their House Members and fought together.

In the distance, Rahu and Eryx just stood there. After observing for a while, Rahu curiously turned his head towards Eryx.

"Aren't you going to help your House?"

He asked because this guy was just standing beside him and chilling.

"Nah, they can go to hell for all I care. Actually, it's even better if they all died. Heh," Eryx chuckled dryly.

"Haha, let me guess. House Inheritance?" Rahu asked, his voice filled with amusement. This guy was a bit interesting… at least he won't be bored for a while.

"Bingo"
