"I came to freeload on free food." Kate responded honestly.

The previous day, when she was here, she had tasted the food that was prepared by Adrian.

Michael looked at her with a puzzled expression, before he asked, "What could be the reason why he wants to meet me? I don't think that I have ever met with him before, and neither have we interacted in any way."

"I myself am not really sure, but it's most probably related to what happened back in Drenn city. My grandpa has many methods of acquiring information, and most probably, he already knows about the incident that night." Kate responded honestly.

'That night? The way that you are framing those words, you can easily make a clueless person overthink!' Michael could not help but grumble internally.

Still, he asked, "Anyway, I don't think that there is any reason for a meeting. You are the one who helped me out, so, if anything, I should be the one that should be thanking you instead."

"Well, everyone in the family usually thinks that I am kind of reckless. So, my grandpa wants to thank you because he feels that if not for you, I might have been in danger." Kate responded as she pouted.

This action made her look quite cute, a contrast to her usually fierce appearance when she was dealing with gangsters.

As he shifted his attention somewhere else, Michael remembered the fact that before he arrived, he had found Kate having an argument with the gangsters.
