This World Can't Handle A Cultivating Bad-boy.

Chapter 102: Ch 102: Fun.

"Nahh." He finally answered. "I think I'm going let you feel exactly what your victims felt."

Von took off running again. Faster than he'd ever ran or imagined he'd run before. His eyes darted around to catch a glimpse of Aegon but saw nothing.

But his presence surrounded the alley like a suffocating mist. He felt as if he was lingering in every shadowed corner—watching, waiting.

His sprint unconsciously faltered, his muscles turned for rest and his dashes changed to a jog and, then just stumbles.

After about a minute of running, he finally reached the end of the alley.

A wall.

His eyes swept across the ominously silent path. Yet, he saw nothing.

His hands pressed into his knees, chest heaving without rhythm. His body was in disarray, but at least he'd gotten away.

Until—

~BAM!~

He turned his head slightly to the right and was met with a staggering sucker punch to the jaw.

The force swayed his body to the left and rammed his head into the side of a dumpster, rattling his skull.

He hurriedly retrieved his fallen off glasses, whipped his head but Aegon was gone again.

That was when the weight of the situation hit him like a cold shower. He scrambled back to his feet and picked up an old rusty old metal pipe.

"Come on!!" He screamed into the sky. Hit the pipe against the dumpster for theatrics. "Are you scared?! Face me like a man!"

"You seem to be under the impression that you're considered a man." Aegon's calm voice echoed, yet his location remained unknown.

"What is it you want from me?!... An apology?!" He spun frantically. "There you have it, I'm sorry!"

"Ha!" Aegon laughed. "What exactly is a half-baked apology supposed to fix? Does it change what you did? No..."

He paused for a moment.

"Neither is it going to change what I'm about to do."

Von pushed his glasses back to the ridge of his nose. "Then stop being scared and face me!"

"Alright, fine. Behind you."

Von turned back to another punch, square in the face and sent him sprawling back, losing his grip on the pipe.

"..."

Aegon then bent low and picked it up, flexing the weapon in his grip and getting a good feel of the weight.

As his blood ran cold, von pushed himself back. It didn't take a genius to know he was about to be beaten with the pipe.

Aegon raised it into the air, then swung wild.

Bracing himself for impact, Von squeezed his eyes shut.

"...?!"

He hesitantly opened his eyes, open before the other. Aegon was extending the pipe to him.

Confused, he just remained there, heart thundering away yet he didn't move.

Aegon nudged the pipe closer. "I'm not an asshole. I'm going to kill you but you should, at least, think you can fight back."

"...!"

The two remained there in silence before Aegon finally said, "If you don't take it and fight, I'll beat you to death with it right now."

Von dithered. But seeing Aegon's emotionless face, he eventually stretched and took the pipe.

He tried dragging it back but Aegon's hold kept tight for a breath. He stared at von as if meticulously studying him.

It was hated. It wasn't annoyance. It wasn't even disgust, at least not anymore.

All that reminded on Aegon's face was indifference.

He let go and took a few steps back, letting Von pick himself up.

Von shifted the pipe a few times in his hands while glancing back at Aegon—sizing him up.

"Grgh!" He screamed as he swung wildly. Aegon ducked underneath and delivered a punch to the guts that folded Von in.

The air left his lungs and his face shot red instantly, Aegon was already taking a few steps back.

"Pl— Please, I'll change, just let me go." He pleaded.

Placing his hands on his waist, Aegon sighed. "Von, either you pick up that pipe and fight or, I'll burn you to a crisp right now."

Mustering everything left in him, he grabbed the pipe and swung again. "Argh!"

This time Aegon caught his hand and threw him against the side of the dumpster.

"Get up." Aegon commanded. "Pick up the pipe."

The pipe clattered to the ground as Von let go. Raising his hands to beg Aegon. "Just tell me what the hell you want."

Aegon jerked forward. Ramming his knee into Von's face and sandwiching him against the dumpster.

And still he wasn't done yet.

He picked Von up by the collar, hoisting him up like a ragdoll. "When I tell you to pick it up, you pick it up." He hissed, forcefully holding Von's right fingers on the edge of the dumpster.

Von, sensing what was about to happen, tried to pull his hand away but Aegon was stronger. "NO! NO! NO!"

And with one brutal slam. "ARRRGH!!!" Von fell back with a guy wrenching scream, clutching onto what was left of his fingers.

The blood dyed his shirt red. He couldn't stop screaming and Aegon couldn't stop not caring.

"Get away from me!!" He screamed, crying as he scrambled back. "Don't you see you're just as bad as I am."

Aegon, slowly marching towards him, shook his head. "Like you? No. I think I'm way worse."

He picked up the pipe himself. "Since you can't fight back, I guess I'll just kill you now. It's pointless."

Pressing his right hand to his body. He gestured for Aegon to stop with his left. "Stop okay. If I die, they remember everything I've ever done.

And I've done a lot. They won't just hate me, some of them will hate their mothers, their fathers, themselves.

People that you're trying to protect will have PTSD forever, most will kill themselves and the ones who don't will be permanently fucking changed.

Kill me and you kill at least a thousand relationships and cause about a hundred suicides."

Von managed a sick smile through the pain. "Keeping me alive will save lives."

"..."

"But at least you won't be there to cause them any more pain." Aegon replied coldly. "That's good enough for me."

He raised the pipe and Von screamed at the top of his lungs, and the patch finally turned red.

He managed to still swing but uncoordinated, he hit the floor an inch away from Von's head and dropped to his knees—gritting his teeth in pain.

Von stopped for a second, moving hesitantly before he saw the patch on Aegon's hand had changed colour.

"Hey, man." Von said, testing if it'd work. "Look at me."

Aegon, involuntarily raised his head. "Fuck you bastard."

"No. No. No." Von mocked. "I think it's time for my fun."
