Essen raced away as I unleashed a flurry of Negative Energy blasts down towards him, narrowly evading them as he weaved through the space, before spreading out his wings and zipping up into the air...exactly what I was waiting for.

I shot towards at full speed, propelling myself with a pressurized burst of Negative Energy, his eyes widening in alarm as I closed in on him.

He drove his right arm forward as he began to fly back, snapping his pincer at my head, before stiffening as I sliced off the prongs of his pincer off with my blade.

I fired out a blast of Negative Energy from my mouth as his pincer regenerated, striking his chest and knocking him back.

I zipped forward as he brought himself to a halt and regained his balance, veering up as I closed in on him.

He drove his stinger towards me with a grimace, which I evaded before whipping my blade across, a sharp gasp of pain ringing out as I sliced through the top of his head and split his skull open.

Brain damage may not be fatal to Archdemons, but it seriously disorients them, even if just for a moment.

I shot down behind him, driving my blade towards the middle of his back, but he inadvertently swayed across to his right, my blade piercing through his back and bursting out the front of his torso, narrowly missing his Core.

He gasped in pain as he regained his bearings, before firing off a burst of Negative Energy to his left, shooting himself across to the right, my blade slicing through and bursting out his left side, before he snarled as he swung his stinger towards me.

I swerved across the air to evade it, before he began to back away and get some distance as he pulled the stinger back, a tense look on his face.

Hm, less than thirty seconds left with Descent. I'll end this quickly.

"<Command: Don't Move>."

"Wh-Wha...?!" He blurted out as he froze in mid-air, starting to plummet as I shot towards him and drove my knee forward, slamming it square onto the middle of his face, breaking his nose.

He broke free of the effect of Command as blood streamed out of his nostrils, before I lunged forward and whipped my blade across, slicing through the middle of his right bicep as he began to drive his pincer towards me, severing it.

I grabbed his left forearm as he began to raise his other pincer, tightening my grip before ripping his arm off around the elbow with a sharp, powerful twist, a loud yell of pain ringing out as blood burst out in a violent spray.

As his arms regenerated, I slammed my left palm against his solar plexus as I simultaneously plunged my blade through his throat, a choked gasp echoing out as twisted the blade and unleashed several consecutive Mana Pulses, an agonized shudder of pain erupting across his body.

His arms regenerated as normal instead of as pincers, his stinger reverting to a tail as he coughed out blood, before he wheezed and got sent hurtling back through the air as I slammed my right foot against the middle of his stomach.

I chased after him as full speed, flecks of blood spraying out across the air from his mouth, before I shot past and spun around behind him, striking the middle of his back with my knee, a sharp crunch ringing out as I snapped his spine upon impact, sending him shooting straight up into the air.

I fired out a burst of Negative Energy from my feet to launch myself up towards him, veering across to his right side before firing off a concentrated Negative Energy blast, shattering the bones in his right arm and the right side of his ribcage, blasting him away to his left.

I chased after him once again, extending out a thick tendril of Negative Energy and whipping it out towards him, the tendril striking his left leg and wrapping around it, before I yanked him back towards me with a powerful tug.

I slammed my foot against his head as he got within my reach, sending him flying away again, before I pulled on the tendril to yank him back towards me again.

I dissipated the tendril and zipped up as he closed in on me, before swooping down and slamming my feet onto the middle of his chest, driving him down towards the ground, before I came to an abrupt halt a few meters above the ground.

A loud crash rang out as he slammed onto the pile of ant Monster corpses, dismembered body parts flying out upon impact.

He quickly and shakily scrambled back onto his feet as I unleashed a drilling blast of Negative Energy down towards him, his right arm getting caught up in the blast and torn off, blood spraying out before his arm began to regenerate.

"[Demonic Art: Concealment]!" He chanted as I shot towards him, disappearing from sight and from my senses.

I didn't slow down, driving my blade forward as I closed in on the spot he'd disappeared in, striking an invisible barrier, which shattered upon impact, Essen coming back into sight with a horrified look on his face.

He began to back away and raise his arms, starting to charge up Negative Energy, before letting out a startled gasp of pain as an arrow of dark blue energy came shooting down and struck the right side of his head, piercing into his brain and bursting out the left side, severely dazing him.

Before he could recover, I unfurled a powerful thrust of my blade, plunging into his solar plexus and colliding against his Core, before shattering it upon impact.

Essen shuddered in agony and coughed out blood, his arms slumping to his sides as he collapsed onto his knees, his eyelids fluttering shut as he fell over and hit the ground with a thud, right as I reached the time limit with Descent...
