"That's not entirely accurate..." Jeming said with some helplessness.
Victor nodded: "Yes, someone like you, it means you're still in a high-speed development stage, how can we not be envious."
They spoke very sincerely.
The path of the Wizard is not smooth.
When research hits a bottleneck and cannot be improved through meditation and experiments, many Wizards choose to go to the battlefield to find breakthroughs through trials of life and death or by seeking more resources.
In some ways, whether one can continue researching also shows a Wizard's aptitude.
Only those Wizards with extraordinary talent and endless inspiration can immerse themselves in the sea of knowledge and enjoy pure advancements.
"We've had rest periods as long as one can have as First Level Wizards, like those Combat Wizards leave even earlier... do you still remember Augusta?" Amy suddenly mentioned a name, "It's said that after completing the shortest six-month rest period, she rushed to join a new battlefield, unable to bear staying at the academy."
Jeming nodded, Augusta had left a deep impression on him.
"I remember she had high talent..."
"Only in meditation, in the path of the Wizard she's considered low talent, choosing the Combat Element suits her characteristics better." Amy joked with a smile.
The group of them chatted a few more sentences on this note, but not too much.
For Wizards, they are quite familiar with such matters.
"Take care." Jeming said to the two of them.
"Don't worry, we're not going to die so easily!" Amy patted her chest.
"When your Plane is ready, remember to invite us to visit your Plane." Victor also said with a smile.
After bidding farewell to the two, the projection on the Magic Network Terminal disappeared, and Jeming fell back into contemplation.
Amy and Victor's words suddenly reminded him of something else.
He indeed had always buried himself in research, advancing swiftly on the path of knowledge.
But for a Wizard who wants to enhance power, it's by no means limited to research alone.
Thinking about it, Jeming decided to add topics on improving his combat abilities in the upcoming research plan.
"Improving combat ability..." Jeming muttered softly, his gaze fell upon the Element Storage Talisman Witchcraft in the center of the lab.
Seated on a high-backed chair, his fingertips gently tapped the edge of the table, thoughts surged like tides, conducting a comprehensive review and assessment of his combat system.
Conventionally, as a Wizard, the core of combat strength undoubtedly lies in the number and quality of the Witchcraft Models constructed in the Sea of Spirit.
Every self-constructed Witchcraft Model almost equates to granting the Wizard an innate ability.
The most direct and effective way for Wizards to enhance combat power is to continuously learn, analyze, and eventually self-construct new, more powerful Witchcraft Models.
The more offensive Witchcraft one masters, the richer the means, and naturally, the stronger the ability to handle various situations.
However, Jeming's situation was a little special.
With the special Witchcraft like Element Storage Talisman Witchcraft in his possession, simply increasing offensive Witchcraft Models seems somewhat redundant.
Or rather, the benefits aren't as high as in other aspects.
At this stage, his Sea of Spirit encompassed three major Witchcraft, all of which were auxiliary types. Plus, with the diversity of Talisman Witchcraft, he essentially lacked no means to deal with adversaries.
Rather than blindly pursuing quantity, it was better to focus efforts on more groundbreaking fields.
After some thought, Jeming shifted his gaze to the metal disc on the table.
It was an Element Storage Talisman Witchcraft he recently modified.
"Based on the characteristics of Talisman Witchcraft, there are two possibilities for enemies that can't be killed after depleting all stored Elemental Power: either they're too fast to hit, or they can't be attacked from the start."
As for enemies far stronger than oneself that can't be killed, such a possibility is directly ignored because when encountering such enemies, the primary thought should be survival.
The former type of enemy can be tackled by enhancing oneself with Accelerating Talisman Witchcraft, while the latter is likely due to encountering special situations like the Forbidden Magic Domain.
"Huh?"
Thinking of this, Jeming suddenly recalled that his Element Storage Talisman Witchcraft caused Forbidden Magic during the recharging process.
"So... to compensate for this weakness, I need to improve my combat ability under the Forbidden Magic circumstances. It seems necessary to fortify the body as the last resort." Clarity flashed in Jeming's eyes.
This isn't the mainstream Wizard's path, but for him, it was an exceedingly necessary supplement.
There are actually some misconceptions about Wizard's physical strength.
Many common legends assume Wizards are just "frail Mages" hiding at the back casting spells; even some Wizards don't focus on physical enhancement in their cultivation.
However, the reality is different, the physical quality of Wizards is not as fragile as imagined.
In the process of absorbing Elemental Power through meditation and fortifying spiritual power, the Wizard's body unconsciously undergoes Elemental Power tempering, thereby gradually strengthening.
This enhancement is subtle, though not as explosive as a Warrior's muscles and steel-like bones, a Wizard's physique is generally much stronger than ordinary mortals, with higher resistance.
Moreover, the Wizard Realm isn't lacking in witchcraft to enhance physical quality; these spells, though not as dazzling as Elemental Attacks, can play a miraculous role in certain circumstances.
If necessary, a Wizard can even opt for body modification surgery to attain a stronger physique.
Wizards' understanding of life far exceeds ordinary people's, they can use Alchemy, bloodline witchcraft, biomechanical surgery, and even direct rune engraving for physical transformation.
Some Wizards, in pursuit of ultimate strength, transform themselves beyond recognition, abandoning their mortal form entirely, becoming half-human, half-beast monsters.
But the outcome is immensely powerful physical strength, even enough to defeat beings one Tier higher based solely on physical might.
However, despite these methods, most Wizards don't prioritize physical strength, some Magic Potions even achieve greater spiritual power by harming the body.
This stems from the essence of Wizard power. What makes Wizards formidable is the artful usage of every Elemental Power unit, through understanding various knowledge to unleash terrifying power multiples of the original Elemental Power.
Physical strength is linear; how much strength the body has, determines the maximum strength that can be exerted with no "amplification" involved.
On the flip side, physical fortification compared to spiritual strengthening offers an advantage: it experiences almost no bottleneck.
Enhancing spiritual power and soul involves multiple restrictions of talent, comprehension, resources, and as one progresses, each step becomes extremely challenging.
In contrast, fortifying the body, albeit with its own limits, generally speaking, with enough resources and appropriate Dharma Gate, can continuously improve to quite an astonishing level.
It's a "diligence compensates for deficiency" path, though not reaching the heights of Elemental Power, it is stable and controllable.
Thus, as a supplementary measure, numerous methods for strengthening physical power exist in the Wizard World.
Wizards, through researching other Planes' Extraordinary Powers, devised many exclusive Wizard body fortification techniques, and even specialized cultivation methods.
These techniques often integrate Body Refinement Methods from Other Planes, bloodline Curses, and even the power of Divine Remains, forming a unique Wizard Body Refining System.
Realizing this, Jeming didn't hesitate anymore, directly opening the Magic Net terminal, and started searching for related technologies in the vast Nolun Workshop knowledge base.
