"Well, let’s go reunite with the others first. I can sense that they left the town gates a while ago." Bai Xifeng stated smoothly.

Using her spiritual bond with Pegasus, she tracked the distant signal of her companion to pin down where the rest of their group had gone. It turned out their friends had not travelled too far from their current location.

"They are over in that direction." Bai Xifeng pointed toward the dense forest ahead.

"Hmm..." Xie Lanying nodded, adjusting her gear.

The two girls walked through the woods for about twenty minutes before finally reuniting with their group. Everyone looked completely unharmed and energetic. In fact, the boys had already set up a cosy campsite in a clearing and were patiently waiting for their return.

"Yo! Look, everybody. They are finally back!" Ning Shoukai shouted loudly, immediately alerting the rest of the camp.

The moment she saw them, Xie Qingge rushed straight over to Xie Lanying and Bai Xifeng, fussing over them and frantically checking them both from head to toe for any hidden injuries.

"Are you two really okay?! You did not get hurt anywhere, right?" Xie Qingge asked, her voice brimming with worry.

"Nope! We are completely fine." Xie Lanying chuckled softly, waving her hand dismissively. "With Xifeng right beside me, how could I possibly end up getting injured?"

"Yeah, honestly! Those town guards are probably the ones who should be desperately worried right now." Ning Shoukai laughed boisterously.

The rest of the group burst into laughter upon hearing his hilarious statement. Well, considering who they were dealing with, that was almost certainly an accurate assessment.

Hearing the loud commotion outside, Zhang Zhenyu stepped out of the carriage alongside his wife and daughter.

"Lady Bai, Lady Xie! Thank goodness you two returned safely." Zhang Zhenyu let out a long breath of relief, relieved to see that their young benefactors were completely unharmed.

"So what actually happened back there?" Xie Yanlin stepped forward, inquiring calmly. "Sir Zhang mentioned earlier that some high-ranking local wanted to force a meeting with you two."

"Yeah, their guards led us straight to the Su Family Estate." Bai Xifeng stated smoothly. "It turns out their family holds quite a bit of corrupt power in that town, and their young master wanted to inspect us."

Bai Xifeng was just about to continue explaining the rest, but Xie Lanying eagerly cut her off, clearly wanting to deliver her own colourful version of the story first.

"That crazy, delusional bastard actually wanted the two of us to become his 54th and 55th concubines! Hell no!" Xie Lanying scoffed in absolute disgust. "And you know what the absolute worst part was? Xifeng discovered that crazy bastard was carrying a super gross disease!"

"A disease?" Xie Zixin asked, tilting his head with genuine curiosity. "What kind of disease did he have?"

"An STD!" Xie Lanying declared dramatically.

"Huh?" Everyone in the group instantly blinked in sheer confusion.

An STD? None of them had ever heard of such a strange, bizarrely named disease in their entire lives.

"According to Xifeng, it is a horrible, contagious infection that rots a man’s private parts!" Xie Lanying stated bluntly.

"WHAT?!" Every single male cultivator in the group reacted with violent shock, their eyes bulging as they instinctively crossed their hands over their lower bodies.

Xie Qingge’s cheeks immediately flushed bright red upon hearing such unfiltered terminology.

"W-What kind of disease could possibly do something like that?!" Xie Yanlin asked, coughing awkwardly into his fist, thoroughly embarrassed to even inquire about such an intimate topic in mixed company.
