My Longevity Simulation

Chapter 1460: The World Destroying Li Buren

A tiny Go piece could evolve into a fragment of an Immortal Domain.

At its core, the reason was that these so called Go pieces were actually formed from countless True Immortal seal script characters layered together. True Immortal seal script was itself one of the methods by which True Immortals interpreted the Great Dao.

Previously, after obtaining an Immortal Domain Go piece, the Xuan Immortal Ark had transformed it into the outer armor of the ark. But now, under Li Fan's continuous urging, the Go piece he threw out instead took the projection of the Dao Net within his mind as its foundation. It unfolded and flowed, transforming into a humanoid body.

However, at this stage, it still possessed only an empty form. The miniature Dao Net and the Immortal Domain fragment were both external objects. Their connection with Li Fan's true body was far too faint.

Thus...

Li Fan's true body forcefully tapped his own forehead.

The force of his finger seemed to penetrate his entire body. A portion of his soul, along with flesh and bones, was directly blasted out.

Outside Li Fan's true body, it formed a thin but crimson afterimage.

Enduring the dizziness, Li Fan directed this portion of his body to fly into the body refined from the projection of the Dao Net and the Immortal Domain Go piece.

Relying on his familiarity with both, Li Fan controlled them with some difficulty, almost forcibly stuffing the fleshly afterimage inside.

This refinement was not merely the creation of a clone. It also drew upon and incorporated the methods used by Qiao Gong when he previously created the Holy Punishment Puppet, as well as the process through which Tianyang became an Immortal Puppet.

Rather than calling it a clone, it was more accurately a perfect fusion of a clone and the transformation of the body into the Dao.

Moreover, because the materials used this time were far too powerful, Li Fan was somewhat worried that the clone might lose control, causing the scene of the former Holy Emperor Li Ping to repeat itself. Thus, from the very beginning of the refinement, Li Fan had already established the fundamental nature of this powerful clone.

It would possess no self emotions whatsoever. It would only carry out Li Fan's commands absolutely. If anyone obstructed it, it would kill them all. If the opponent was too powerful to defeat, it would temporarily avoid their edge and follow them in secret, searching for a solution.

In short, the clone puppet was designed as a machine without emotions, existing solely to execute missions. It had only one task, to uncover the secrets within the High Wall. It even carried an order to destroy itself after completing its mission.

The projection of the Dao Net was a reflection of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, while the True Immortal seal script was a concrete depiction of the Great Dao. The two were naturally closely connected. The fleshly afterimage Li Fan had separated from his own body was filled with his understanding of the Great Dao. Using this as the point of adhesion, he slowly fused all three into one.

"The clone's mind reflects the Dao Net, while its body is formed from the Great Dao. The moment it is born, it has already reached the minor accomplishment of the Consciousness Soul Transformation and the Corporeal Nascent Soul."

"In terms of combat strength alone, it is probably far above me..."

As this powerful puppet gradually took shape, another powerful self was slowly pulling Li Fan toward the other side. It was like a reflection in water reaching out its hand, trying to drag him into the water.

It was like a child wielding a heavy sword. If this had happened before Li Fan infiltrated the Shuo Star Sea and came into contact with the Dao Net, the moment this clone puppet emerged, it might have already surpassed Li Fan's control and seized the initiative.

But now...

Li Fan remained composed as he issued one Dao Net command after another.

The projection of the Dao Net within the clone puppet immediately began emitting flickering light in synchronization, as if responding to Li Fan's actions.

The puppet was gradually subdued in this manner, completely restraining its overwhelming might as it stood silently.

Li Fan's actions appeared effortless, but in reality, they were backed by the Darkest Star Sea's countless years of research into the Dao Net. Li Fan had merely transformed that accumulated knowledge into his own use and applied it to the projection of the Dao Net within his mind.

Compared to the enormous Dao Net covering the entire Shuo Star Sea, the one existing within Li Fan's divine sense could be said to be extremely weak. Nevertheless, it already possessed the fundamental properties of a Dao Net.

Combined with its powerful physical body, it was not difficult for this clone puppet to rival a True Immortal.

"What is even more wonderful is that there is no immortal spiritual power within the clone puppet. It is an existence formed from the laws of the Great Dao. If it deliberately conceals itself and hides within Heaven and Earth, it will be like ice melting into water, leaving no trace. Like an ordinary object, even if it collides with the High Wall, it will not be treated specially and directly expelled beyond the High Wall."

Using his strength alone to draw upon and control a miniature Dao Net was by no means easy. Even with the current strength of Li Fan's divine sense, he needed to devote eight or nine tenths of his attention to restraining the clone puppet.

"Actually, even if I release it temporarily, it should not matter much. As long as I bring it back under the Dao Net's control in time, it will continue carrying out the mission I assigned to it during that period. The only problem is that I cannot leave it in a state of freedom for too long..."

"Otherwise, miscellaneous thoughts will inevitably emerge!"

Li Fan understood this clearly.

One Dao Net command after another wove together into threads, firmly binding the clone puppet.

It was like a giant puppet beast controlled by threads held in Li Fan's hands.

"Heaven and Earth are not benevolent, treating all things as straw dogs."

"You need not concern yourself with all things in this world. You only need to act according to my commands."

"I shall call you..."

"Li Buren!"

With the final command issued, all the threads returned into the Dao Net within the clone's mind, becoming invisible to ordinary means.

Li Fan sensed that Li Buren before him had formed some kind of strange connection with him.

It was more distant than a pure fleshly clone.

Yet compared to a puppet controlled solely through thought, it was far more intimate.

Li Buren's expression was as cold as ten thousand years of ice, without the slightest emotional fluctuation.

His eyes had completely inherited the truest thoughts within Li Fan's heart, that sincere indifference toward all things under Heaven and Earth. Even Li Fan himself could not help but feel a slight tremor in his heart when he met those eyes.

There was no aura emanating from Li Buren's body, as though he were the very Heaven and Earth itself. Though he carried the weight of the Great Dao, he could move as lightly as a wild goose gliding through the air.

Unless one saw him with their own eyes, even if he approached right before them, they would not notice him. Yet once someone looked at him, they would find him impossible to forget. At the depths of their heart, an instinctive fear would surge forth, becoming an indelible shadow of terror.

Li Fan was also unwilling to spend much time with this pure creation of destruction.

"Go."

He said only this.

Li Buren's body transformed into a sword and disappeared from the Xuanhuang Realm in an instant.

Three breaths later.

He had already crossed the entire Darkest Star Sea and arrived at the foot of the High Wall.

His body was transformed from the Great Dao, roaming within the Great Dao itself, just like a fish swimming through water.

Compared to Li Fan's sword escape technique, he was more than dozens of times faster.

Facing the invisible High Wall before him, Li Buren did not hesitate in the slightest.

He simply charged straight into it.

From the moment he set out until the moment he collided with the High Wall, Li Buren remained like a statue, without the slightest change. It was as though this life and death matter had nothing to do with him.

"He did not appear outside the wall..."

"It seems there really is something inside the wall!"

Li Fan's true body remained in the Xuanhuang Realm. By joining forces with the power of dreams outside the wall to search and verify the matter, he had already obtained the answer he wanted.

After some time, images from Li Buren's perspective finally emerged slowly.

"Fortunately, this High Wall cannot completely sever the connection between the Great Dao."

Li Fan did his utmost to sense what the clone puppet was experiencing.

Because Li Fan had suppressed the fluctuations of Li Buren's self consciousness to the lowest possible level, despite passing through the High Wall, Li Buren himself did not experience any psychological activity.

He merely served as Li Fan's "camera", taking his place in observing the world within the wall.

It was a strange world in which there was no "sky".

What appeared overhead was a reflection of the earth beneath his feet.

Yet although Li Buren stood upon the earth, the mirror like sky did not reflect him.

This was not caused by Li Buren's ability to conceal himself.

Rather...

Li Buren simply did not belong to this world!

Sensing the invasion of an outsider, this world suddenly underwent a drastic transformation.

The sky and earth trembled slightly before suddenly moving with tremendous force, drawing closer to one another.

As they converged and closed together, they attempted to crush this intruding outsider into pieces.

Li Buren merely extended his right hand straight upward.

In the blink of an eye, his arm expanded like a pillar supporting Heaven, forcibly holding apart the converging sky and earth.

The mirror like sky continued pressing downward with immense force, yet it could not advance even an inch. It emitted creaking sounds. At the point where the sky met the pillar of Heaven, layer upon layer of fractures even appeared under the immense pressure.

However, beyond the shattered mirror surface was not a passage leading toward the outside world.

And yet, there was another layer of mirror!

Li Buren used his right arm to support the heavens and earth, while his own body detached itself from his arm and swiftly wandered through this space, searching for an exit.

But this place seemed to be boundless.

With Li Buren's terrifying flight speed, he flew for nearly half a day, yet still could not find where the boundary lay.

It was as though as he moved, the boundary of this world would continuously expand outward as well.

However, while flying, Li Buren recorded every detail of this world's scenery in his mind. He did not discover any repetitions.

Li Buren returned to where his right arm was supporting the heavens, then grasped the Heavenly Pillar with his left hand.

He exerted a slight force.

It was as if he had grabbed a gigantic club and suddenly pulled it. The Heavenly Pillar tilted, instantly tearing open a crack in the sky.

Li Buren gripped the Heavenly Pillar with his left hand and swung it continuously.

Amid the roaring sounds, the mirror-like sky was smashed into pieces in an instant.

He even took a deep breath, swallowing all the shattered fragments of mirror that continuously fell from the sky into his stomach.

Within his thoughts, projections of the Dao Net flickered one after another, having already analyzed the composition of this mirror-like sky.

"The Dao serves as a curtain, concealing the eyes of all living beings."

"The exit is ahead."

Li Buren simply gave his conclusion, without any unnecessary thought.

Like a giant from the creation myths who split apart heaven and earth, Li Buren held the enormous pillar in his hand as his body rapidly expanded.

In only a moment, he had already surpassed the overturned mirror-like sky.

Then, without the slightest hesitation, he continued growing toward the heavens beyond the heavens.

Using his head as a hammer, he smashed layer after layer of mirrors into fragments.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

When the final veil of falsehood was shattered, Li Buren leaped out.

His body had already returned to its normal size as he cautiously surveyed his surroundings.

"No signs of living beings."

"No fluctuations of Great Dao energy."

"Temporarily safe."

Turning back toward the place he had just emerged from, he found that it was merely a transparent sculpture resembling glass. Having been pierced through and shattered, its original appearance could no longer be discerned.

There were also sixteen other sculptures arranged around it.

"There should have originally been eighteen sculptures here."

"One has disappeared."

"Of the remaining sixteen, five have been shattered. The others are completely intact."

As always, Li Buren calmly analyzed the situation.

He flashed toward the nearest intact transparent sculpture.

"Beyond a certain distance, it cannot be seen clearly. I must come directly before the sculpture to see its appearance clearly, as well as the world within the sculpture."

"It is not due to the restrictions of a formation..."

"But rather, one of the laws of this place."

Li Buren observed coldly. It was as though the miniature Dao Net had manifested within his eyes. He extended his hand into empty space and gently caressed it.

Within the Dao Net, a new light suddenly appeared.

It was a Great Dao law that had not previously existed within the miniature Dao Net.

Now, Li Buren sensed and captured it.

He then integrated it into the projection of his own Dao Net.

A moment later, the light and shadows in Li Buren's eyes faded.

Within his field of vision, the eleven transparent sculptures that had originally been impossible to see clearly were now fully revealed.

They were actually figures with different appearances.

Or rather, Immortals!

"Every sculpture contains a certain Great Dao of heaven and earth."

"It should be the Dao cultivated by the Immortal within the sculpture."

Li Buren moved closer to the sculpture before him. From it, he sensed an aura of laws related to [Guard].

However, since this law was already recorded within the projection of his Dao Net, Li Buren ignored it.

He merely pressed his eyes close to the sculpture and peered into the scene within the transparent figure.

If Li Fan's true body were here and witnessed this scene, his heart would inevitably race, and he would be utterly shocked.

But Li Buren did not even furrow his brow. He met the wide open eyes he had glimpsed inside the sculpture.

"A corpse."

"The corpse of a True Immortal."

Li Buren withdrew his gaze and went to the other transparent sculptures.

He likewise approached them and examined them closely.

Within every sculpture, he saw the corpse of a True Immortal.

"The Daos they cultivated are all different."

"They are not the same True Immortal."

"Yet at the place I came from, I did not see any corpse of a True Immortal..."

Standing before the final transparent sculpture, Li Buren did not hesitate for long.

He threw a punch directly at the sculpture's face.

The sculpture remained completely motionless.

It did not even tremble in the slightest.

This punch from Li Buren, which could shatter the Xuanhuang Realm into pieces, was like a mud cow entering the sea, completely blocked.

But Li Buren remained relentless.

One punch followed another.

Symbols formed from twisted True Immortal seal script appeared across his body like tattoos.

"It appears to have suffered no damage."

"But every strike I make draws a small portion of the sculpture's Dao law aura toward my body."

"As one side wanes, the other waxes."

"It works."

Li Buren continued throwing punches without rest.

The originally transparent sculpture became increasingly ‘faint.’

It changed from a glass-like state into something resembling water.

Finally, under Li Buren's steady bombardment, it suddenly scattered apart.

Yet something strange happened. The corpse of the True Immortal that Li Buren had seen inside earlier did not fall out when the sculpture shattered.

Only fragments were scattered across the ground.

It was exactly like the scene created when Li Buren had escaped from the sculpture earlier.

"The corpse of the True Immortal that I saw was not truly the corpse of a True Immortal."

"Rather, it was condensed from the True Immortal's comprehension of the Dao laws while they were alive."

"Although the True Immortal has perished, these comprehensions were preserved in this manner by someone, through some unknown method."

Li Buren picked up one of the fragments and placed it into his mouth.

After carefully chewing it for a moment, he gave his judgment.

"It benefits me."

He then opened his mouth wide and swallowed all the fragments containing the Dao law comprehensions in this place.
