Chapter 517: Spirit Valley

Bai Xun sat down and he started to brief Lin Xuan Qi on his progress.

"I’ve secured the agreement for the retail stores from the owners to sell them at twenty taels of gold each.

"We can sign the documents and pay for them tomorrow.

"After that I will finalize the process with the magistrate and we can get started refurnishing the retail stores right away."

Lin Xuan Qi gave him a nod and asked, "Twenty taels of gold is the best price you can get?"

He had faith in Bai Xun not to be doing something under the table from him with the loyalty Bai Xun had for him.

But he was curious to know why it was at a higher price.

All of the stores he had bought for the franchisees were at an average price of ten taels of gold, which was lesser than the price Bai Xun had mentioned by half.

"It’s the best I can negotiate, Master Lin." Bai Xun cupped his hands at Lin Xuan Qi and said, "The environment here is much more competitive than Hong Feng City.

"I see." Lin Xuan Qi took another sip of the tea and said.

They got out from the room and together with the guards that were outside the room, they got to the first floor to have dinner.

"There’s a secret realm rumored to be opening soon and many of them are waiting for the opportunity to get inside."

"Isn’t the Spirit Valley controlled by the Qing Feng Sect?"

"It is, and they are opening it up in the spirit of celebrating the sixty thousand years anniversary of the Qing Feng Sect."

Lin Xuan Qi was intrigued with the Spirit Valley and the secret realm’s opening.

He had heard that there were treasures like Artifacts or Secret Manuscripts waiting to be discovered inside these secret realms.

And he didn’t want to miss out on such an opportunity.

On top of that, even though the secret realm was not what he wanted, he figured that he could make use of it for his objective to create his new sect.

The rogue cultivators that were there would be prime candidates for the disciples of his new sect.

Lin Xuan Qi kept quiet and enjoyed his meal.

He could have gone over and asked the patrons for the details on the Spirit Valley but he didn’t.

Lee He Song’s friend Chu Xu might know something about it and it was better for him to pay a visit to Chu Xu.

"Have a good rest for the night, it might be a long day tomorrow."

After they finished the dinner, Lin Xuan Qi told Bai Xun and the others to rest early.

He did the same and went back to the room that Bai Xun had arranged for him.

It was the best room in the inn with an area big enough for a bathtub and better furnishing.

When Lin Xuan Qi woke up and got out of his room, Bai Xun was already waiting for him outside.

They got down to the dining area to have breakfast before they left for the day.

First they visited the retail store that was nearest to the inn and Lin Xuan Qi was pleased with the location.

There was non-stop foot traffic passing by when he stood outside of the retail shop to observe.

It was excellent as a location to sell his Lin Clan Soap.

He signed the documents and paid the money to the owner without much hesitation.

And after it was done, he went with Bai Xun to the next location.

The next retail store was at another section of the city with less foot traffic, but those passing by wore better clothes and seemed to be much more affluent.

It was located in the richer part of the city and it would be a perfect match with the high-end marketing for his Lin Clan Soap.

Lin Xuan Qi did the same for this retail store.

He signed the documents and paid for the retail store once he saw the potential in the location.
