The Villainess's Heartthrob Script: I Can Talk to Animals

Chapter 128: What on Earth Have You Been Through?

Chapter 128: Chapter 128: What on Earth Have You Been Through?

Jenny frowned at what Rice Cake said. "I hate working out and getting sweaty, but he loves playing tennis. He always told me he was going with his guy friends."

[He goes with his guy friends, and the two of them look for girls to hit on!]

[A lot of guys go with their friends to see prostitutes, and they pay with cash so they don’t get caught.]

[Are there even any good men left in the world?]

[Another day, another reason to be scared of men!]

Rice Cake told Jenny, "The exercise was probably just an excuse. I later found out his tennis skills are pretty average."

[Playing tennis was a lie; picking up girls was the truth.]

[Unbelievable! I curse that scumbag to never be able to take a shit! May he be constipated for a hundred years!]

Renee Jennings thought Carson Larkin’s behavior was absolutely disgusting. "Jenny, Sleepy Senior, Rice Cake, are you really just going to let him get away with this?"

"Renee, do you have a suggestion?" Jenny asked expectantly.

Sleepy Senior and Rice Cake also looked at her.

Renee: "Are you all in Zenvia?"

Jenny: "I’m in Zenvia."

Rice Cake: "Me too."

Sleepy Senior: "It’s a half-hour high-speed train ride to Zenvia from where I am."

Renee Jennings slowly said, "My suggestion is that one of you asks him to meet somewhere, and the other two show up there as well."

[Catch him completely off guard and see how he tries to talk his way out of it! This plan is genius!]

[The streamer is scoring major points!]

[Ahhh, can you live-stream it? Just talking about it is getting my blood pumping!]

Jenny, Sleepy Senior, and Rice Cake all agreed with Renee’s suggestion.

They were eager to see how the damn scumbag would react.

"How about this? You all come to my place," Jenny said. "I’ll tell him you’re my friends."

[Good idea! That makes it easy to live-stream from home!]

[When are you doing it?]

[How about now?]

Jenny hesitated. "I’m worried it might not be convenient for the other two ladies right now."

Sleepy Senior: "I’m off today and free anytime. I’ll buy a high-speed train ticket right now."

Rice Cake also said, "I can take time off and rearrange my schedule."

Renee Jennings raised an eyebrow slightly. "Your execution is impressive."

With two other girls ready to tear the scumbag apart with her, Jenny’s sadness faded, replaced by a growing sense of anticipation.

A smile appeared on her face. "Since Sleepy Senior and Rice Cake are free, I’ll send you my address. I’ll order three milk teas and some food while I wait for you."

[She’s even ordering three milk teas? Is this turning into a party?]

[I want to join too! Jenny, send me the address!]

Renee Jennings’s eyes curved into a smile. "Alright, you all go ahead and get that arranged. I’ll disconnect for now and reconnect later so we can all witness you take down this scumbag."

Jenny nodded. "Sounds good!"

Sleepy Senior and Rice Cake had no objections. A scumbag like him should be exposed so everyone knows, preventing more girls from getting hurt.

When Renee Jennings cut the connection, the number of live viewers in the stream had already risen to sixty thousand.

It seemed everyone was very interested in this kind of relationship drama.

[Only one spot left to connect! I’m so nervous!]

[Please let it be me! Let me see if my boyfriend is messing around behind my back!]

[Ahhh, is it too late for me to go get a pet right now?]

While the audience was chattering in the bullet comments, the fourth lucky person, "Not in the Mood," successfully connected.

A woman in pajamas appeared on the split-screen, her hair tied in a loose, messy low ponytail.

Renee Jennings looked at the woman on the split-screen and greeted her softly, "Hello there."

Realizing she was connected to the live stream, Not in the Mood stared blankly for a moment before exclaiming, "I didn’t even apply to connect. How did it connect to me?"

[Ahhh, good heavens! I keep applying and can never get through, but someone who didn’t even apply gets connected! This is going to be the death of me!]

[She probably clicked it by accident. There’s no way she could’ve connected without applying.]

[Great. Now I’m even more pissed!]

Not in the Mood quickly straightened her hair and clothes, laughing awkwardly. "Sorry, everyone. I’m at home with the kids and don’t even have time to tidy myself up."

Her recent state of mind was exactly like her username.

Too tired to be in the mood for anything.

[Hearing this sister say she’s at home with her kids and has no time to even tidy up makes me feel a little sad.]

[How brave do you have to be to become a mom? I know I don’t have the guts.]

[I’m curious what you were like before you became a mom, sis.]

Seeing everyone’s comments, Not in the Mood opened a drawer in her coffee table and took out a photograph.

She held the photo up to the camera. "This is a picture of me from a trip before I got pregnant."

In the photo, she had dyed pink hair and was wearing a sports bra, revealing a slender waist with defined abs. She stood on a mountaintop, her long hair flying in the wind, exuding an air of uninhibited freedom.

[Oh my god, sis, you look so cool!]

[...It’s a night and day difference from how you are now. The price of pregnancy is too high.]

[Sis, what on earth have you been through?]

Not in the Mood looked at the photo of her past self, feeling a bit emotional. "I don’t know either. I just sort of muddled my way into becoming like this."

Renee Jennings asked softly, "Is it because taking care of the kids is too hard?"

"That’s not the whole story. I was diagnosed with endometriosis, so I couldn’t get pregnant on my own. I had to go through IVF." Not in the Mood looked at Renee Jennings and explained, "I was so worried the IVF would fail, so I was extremely cautious with everything. I didn’t dare use skincare products or exercise."

"I was pretty lucky; the second transfer was successful. But I didn’t expect to have severe morning sickness at the beginning, and then contractions later on. I was basically on bed rest almost every day, and before I knew it, I’d gained a lot of weight."

[I feel for you, sis. Hugs!]

[And then you have the baby and realize the suffering during pregnancy was nothing. The real suffering comes after.]

[I totally relate! After giving birth, you have to endure the pain of milk engorgement. Some sisters who have natural births might have organs that don’t return to their proper place and need treatment. The hardest part is that you can’t sleep through the night anymore! If the baby doesn’t sleep, I can’t sleep. My time isn’t my own anymore.]

This topic resonated with many of the new-mom "sisters" in the audience.

But some people didn’t like hearing it.

[What kind of stream is this? A pity party for new moms?]

[Streamer, if this "Not in the Mood" doesn’t have a pet, reconnect with someone else!]

Not in the Mood saw these comments and frowned, explaining, "I’m not complaining, and neither are the other women. We’re just stating facts."

She then said to Renee Jennings, "I’m sorry, Streamer. I’ve caused you trouble. I don’t have any pets at home."

"It’s okay." Renee Jennings looked at her with a gentle gaze. "I hope you can find your way back to the radiant person you once were. Don’t bear all of this alone. The child isn’t your responsibility alone."

"I understand. Thank you, Streamer." Not in the Mood bowed slightly in gratitude.

Watching her, Renee Jennings was suddenly reminded of Diana Jennings from long ago.

’How did she manage to raise two children all by herself?’

Renee Jennings was filled with regret. Because of her own past willfulness and selfishness, she had made Diana Jennings suffer so much and endure so many grievances.
