Chapter 571: Chapter 571: Just Seducing That Fool Hank
"Yes, yes, you’re right." Sean Fuller nodded vigorously, looking at Michelle Fuller gratefully. "Sis, from now on, you’re my *real* sister!"
Michelle Fuller rolled her eyes at him. "I’ve always been your real sister."
"I’m so anxious I can’t think straight." Sean Fuller slapped his forehead and picked up his phone. "I’m deleting Yvonne Morgan right now!"
"Don’t delete her."
"Hold on."
Renee Jennings and Michelle Fuller said at the same time.
Sean Fuller blinked and obediently put his phone down. "Okay."
"You can block people. Don’t delete them," Renee Jennings explained earnestly. "If you delete the chat, you lose the conversation history, which puts you at a disadvantage."
"Right, and besides, I haven’t even seen what she sent you," Michelle Fuller said. "Wait until we’ve had a look."
Sean Fuller sighed. "Fine."
"Unlock it." Michelle Fuller gestured with her chin.
Sean Fuller pursed his lips and hesitated. "Why don’t you guys take a look? I’ll step out for a minute."
’Was there any difference between them reading his chat history in front of him and a public execution?’
"Fine by me." Michelle Fuller nodded. "Go wander around for a bit."
Sean Fuller stood up, unlocked his phone, opened his chat with Yvonne Morgan, and placed the phone on the table. "I’ll be on my way, then."
The words had barely left his mouth before he hurried out of the coffee shop, his retreating figure looking somewhat forlorn.
Renee Jennings pulled her gaze back, hesitating. "Is this... really okay?"
"It’s fine." Michelle Fuller picked up the phone. "If he really didn’t want us to see it, he would have deleted the chat log on his way over."
"Oh, good." Renee Jennings leaned in to look at the phone screen too.
Sean Fuller had asked for Yvonne Morgan’s name last night, but she still hadn’t replied.
Michelle Fuller scrolled up through the chat log and saw that Yvonne Morgan had sent Sean Fuller a ton of photos showing off her figure.
She was always using the excuse of asking if this outfit looked good, if those shoes were nice, or if this piece of jewelry was pretty.
Michelle Fuller’s brow furrowed in disgust as she read.
After a long while, she finally saw a picture that didn’t make her cringe.
It was a screenshot from Yvonne Morgan, showing Renee Jennings’s livestream.
Michelle Fuller turned to Renee Jennings in surprise. "She watches your streams?"
"Yes," Renee Jennings said calmly. "I even connected with her on a call-in during one of my streams."
Michelle Fuller’s eyes widened in disbelief. "What? How did I miss something that dramatic!"
"Yeah, you happened to miss the stream that day."
"What a shame!"
"She hung up almost immediately."
"So she’s secretly stalking you, and she deliberately got close to Hank... Is she really that obsessed with you?"
A small smile played on Renee Jennings’s lips. "Perhaps she’s starting to feel threatened," she said lightly.
Michelle Fuller scanned the chat log one more time before tossing the phone on the table in disgust. "This woman is clearly trying to seduce that fool, Hank. It’s a good thing he’s so dense he can’t even pick up on her suggestive hints."
"Yeah." Renee Jennings also breathed a sigh of relief.
’If Sean had actually fallen for Yvonne Morgan, she honestly wouldn’t have known what to do.’
Michelle propped her chin on her hand and looked at her. "By the way, what did Reina Vance say?"
"Let me see." Renee Jennings took out her phone and checked her DMs. "Rain is asking where we are. She’s just going to have Sheryl Sterling meet her here."
"Even better," Michelle Fuller said. "Tell her coffee’s on me."
"Okay." Renee Jennings sent their location to Reina Vance.
About half an hour later, Reina Vance and Sean Fuller entered the coffee shop, one after the other.
Seeing a stranger at their table, Sean Fuller took a seat at an adjacent one.
Michelle Fuller handed him the phone. "Don’t block her just yet. Let’s see if she tries to say anything else."
"Got it," Sean Fuller replied obediently.
Noticing Reina Vance looking over, Michelle Fuller made the introduction. "That’s my little brother. Pay him no mind."
"Okay." Reina Vance nodded and glanced at her phone. "Sheryl Sterling said she’s almost here."
"Go ahead and find a seat," Renee Jennings said softly. "I’ll order you a coffee."
Reina Vance looked around before sitting at the table next to Sean Fuller’s. "Can I sit here? Will you be able to hear me?"
"You can." Renee Jennings gave her an "OK" sign, then opened the QR scanner on her phone and handed it to Sean Fuller. "Hank, can you scan the QR code over there for me?"
"Sure." Sean Fuller did as she asked.
Seeing this, Michelle Fuller added a warning, "Just buy one for Rain. Don’t get anything for her friend."
’It wasn’t like a cup of coffee was a huge expense for her, but when it came to people she despised, she wasn’t willing to spend a single penny.’
"I know." Renee Jennings smiled, pressing her lips together.
Just as the coffee was ordered, Sheryl Sterling arrived.
Wearing full, exquisite makeup and a trendy, revealing outfit, she sat down across from Reina Vance. "How could you come out looking so sloppy?"
After she spoke, she glanced over at Sean Fuller at the next table and immediately switched to a cutesy, baby-talk voice. "Rain, I’m not trying to nag you, but girls really should put a little more effort into their appearance."
Reina Vance couldn’t understand why she had suddenly adopted that tone. She frowned and shot back, "What about me isn’t put-together?"
"Oh, never mind." Sheryl Sterling waved her hand dismissively and let out a delicate laugh. "Everyone has their own lifestyle. I suppose if you’re comfortable being a slob, there’s nothing wrong with that."
Reina Vance: "..."
’She used to think Sheryl Sterling’s comments were for her own good. Only now did she realize the woman was just mocking and belittling her.’
’The more she thought about it, the angrier she became.’
Reina Vance clenched her fists, forcing herself to stay calm.
Sheryl Sterling took out a powder compact to touch up her makeup. After darting several glances at Sean Fuller, she finally asked, "Rain, did you order coffee?"
Reina Vance: "Ordered."
"What did you get me?"
"I didn’t order for you."
While fixing her hair, Sheryl Sterling said matter-of-factly, "Well, get me an iced americano then."
Reina Vance said coldly, "If you want one, order it yourself."
Sheryl Sterling froze, looking at her suspiciously. "Rain, you’re acting kind of weird today."
Reina Vance pressed her lips together, staring intently at her.
Sheryl Sterling asked tentatively, "In a bad mood? Did you and Howard Shaw break up?"
Michelle Fuller leaned into Renee Jennings’s ear and whispered, "Did you catch that? The green tea is gloating!"
"Loud and clear," Renee Jennings nodded.
Sean Fuller blinked in confusion.
’What was going on?’
Sheryl Sterling concealed the glee in her heart and said comfortingly, "Don’t be sad. A breakup is a breakup. There are plenty of fish in the sea. I can introduce you to some new guys."
The server brought over the cappuccino Renee had ordered for her.
Reina Vance took a few sips before lifting her gaze to Sheryl Sterling, a new sharpness in her eyes. She questioned her directly, "Do you want me and Howard Shaw to break up that badly?"
"What are you talking about?" Sheryl Sterling’s eyes darted around as she used a smile to mask her guilt. "Why would I ever want you and Howard to break up?"
"Don’t you?"
"Of course not."
"Then why do you keep trying to drive a wedge between us?"
Sheryl Sterling frowned and retorted, "When have I ever done that? Reina Vance, have you lost your mind?"
