Chapter 3186 - 3187: Glory of Thunder

Chapter 3186: Chapter 3187: Glory of Thunder

Thunderous Eye, this was invented by the previous Sage.

Worth mentioning, the previous Pika Sage was named... Pika Shue.

And now, Duke Pika of Pipi Castle and Sage Pishu are descendants of this deceased Sage, inheriting their father’s name and the glory of Pika Shue.

Yes, the glory.

Pika Shue Sage, hailed as the greatest Sage in Pipi Castle’s history, led Pi Luoxiu from the depths of dark solitude into the light.

His philosophy enlightened the obscure eyes of Pi Luoxiu. His vision brought Pi City back into the gaze of various clans in the Mirror Domain.

And his inventions crafted the current glory of Pi City!

Among his numerous creations, ’Thunderous Eye’ is the most famous.

If the Crystal Shell of the Crystal Eye Clan is a sturdy and unbreakable shield, then the Thunderous Eye is a spear of light and electricity unwavering.

Angel had heard about the Thunderous Eye when he followed Luigi to Pipi Castle, and had seen its blurred outline from afar—

Outside Duke Pishu’s castle, a layer of purplish red mist swirled, looking mysterious and majestic from afar. This purplish red mist was the Thunderous Eye.

However, it was the inactive Thunderous Eye.

Though the Thunderous Eye was dormant at that time, Luigi’s serious demeanor when mentioning it revealed its power was anything but ordinary.

Angel was naturally intrigued by such a powerful "special weapon." Although he hadn’t had the chance to get close in Pipi Castle, the display booklet now allowed him to see another side of the Thunderous Eye.

"Thunderous Eye: Those who break the rules will be punished by thunder; this is the great Sage Pika Shue’s glorious legacy!"

After a simple introduction line, there was an image of the Thunderous Eye.

The Thunderous Eye remained purplish red overall, but while Angel saw the dormant Thunderous Eye in Pipi Castle, the picture showed it in its activated state.

In the shattered purplish red sky, cracks were torn open, revealing blood-red pupils behind the rifts, with a black cross in the center.

Lightning spirals around the cross, seemingly intimidating the boundless land below, completely swept by thunder.

This is what the Thunderous Eye looks like when activated, manifesting supreme majesty amidst destruction.

Even without a quantified damage comparison, the image alone conveyed the terrifying nature of the Thunderous Eye.

"Thunderous Eye... blood-red pupils behind the Space Rift..." Angel murmured, "This seems more like a capability, is it really ’invented’?"

If it is an invention, what is its true form?

"If you want to know what the true form is, just ask." Luigi suggested, "Anyway, Pi Luoxiu has put the Thunderous Eye on display, and it hasn’t marked a price, so they’re definitely hoping to talk details with a buyer."

As he spoke, Luigi reached out and tapped the image representing the Thunderous Eye.

The image turned into ripples.

After the ripples, the image disappeared, replaced by a line of text.

"In consultation queue, the current queue number is 69, with an average consultation time of thirty minutes per number."

"Approximate queue time: ??? (not displayed if over 24 hours)"

Fewer people in line than for the Crystal Shell, but the average consultation time is slightly longer.

It’s not that the Thunderous Eye is inferior to the Crystal Shell, but likely more expensive, with fewer able to afford it, meaning those consulting are usually capable buyers.

From the average consultation time reaching half an hour, it can be seen that those consulting about the Thunderous Eye genuinely intend to purchase it.

While the Crystal Shell has cheaper versions like "Vermilion Puff, Green Phantom," many can afford it, naturally increasing the queue.

"Didn’t think of having to queue." Luigi scratched his head, "No worries, let’s check out the inventions mice market, they probably have no queue, we could ask them for help later."

Seeking information from the invention mouse "customer service" was quite clever, but the outcome wasn’t promising.

Luigi searched through all products listed by Pi Luoxiu in the display booklet but didn’t see any invention mouse.

"Could the parrot be deceiving us?" Luigi questioned suspiciously.

Angel thought for a moment, then replied: "The products in the display booklet should represent the characteristic items of various clans, something like invention mice might not represent Pi Luoxiu."

In plain words, the pages of the display booklet are limited and can’t cover every single product.

Invention mice are like the Secret Ceremony Box Angel purchased, an occasional item rather than a characteristic product. Such occasional items are typically found in stall areas or by visiting shops in the main congregation site to inquire.

Luigi agreed: "You’re right, maybe I’ll randomly pick an item and ask about the Thunderous Eye."

Luigi casually opened a picture, before Angel could discern what it was, the display booklet displayed a line of text:

"In consultation queue, the current queue number is 3, with an average consultation time of five minutes per number."

"Approximate queue time: ten minutes."

Though there’s a queue again, the wait time was shorter.

The average consultation time was five minutes, but the two individuals ahead took only four minutes each to leave, so Luigi’s turn came promptly.

As he entered the "communication" state, Angel also noticed new changes on the display booklet.

The previous queue text disappeared, replaced by a blank paper page, upon which a feather pen appeared, swiftly moving, and soon the blank page displayed a line of words.

"Golden Silk Stomach Bag, three specifications, the lowest for thirty thousand Crystalline, the highest you can’t afford, bargaining worms, dust, excrement all scram!!!"

Even just texts conveyed an arrogant, angry emotion from the other side.

However, seeing that the item for sale was a "Golden Silk Stomach Bag," Angel paused.

On their way to the inner city earlier, Angel saw many Pi Luoxiu seemed to possess personal spaces; whether robbers or city guard captains, they drew weapons from their mouths.

Luigi later told him these spaces were actually granted by an artificial organ called "Golden Silk Stomach Bag," reportedly with vast internal spaces.

The inventor was the current Sage Pika.

At the time, Angel was fascinated by the Golden Silk Stomach Bag, knowing the Wizards’ Realm had yet to make spatial artifacts widespread, with some Official Wizards still using One-time Spatial Capsules, while even ordinary Pi Luoxiu wield space organs, which piqued Angel’s curiosity.

He even considered purchasing a Golden Silk Stomach Bag for research once the Log-in Device is promoted.

Though their Log-in Device hadn’t been promoted yet, they found themselves directly facing the Golden Silk Stomach Bag seller now.

Thirty thousand Crystalline... Shouldn’t be too expensive, right?

Angel pondered engaging with the seller, but before he could act, Luigi snagged the feather pen on the paper page, quickly writing:

"Thirty thousand Crystalline, even if Sage Pika comes, he wouldn’t dare set such a price, are you trying to swindle me?"

The feather pen opposite seemed to pause for a moment, and then, after a bit, two statements appeared on the paper page:

"You know Pika Sage? You’re kidding me!"

"Who are you?"

Luigi sneered: "I don’t need to lie to you. My relationship with Baba Ragon is intimate. If you know the connection between Pika Sage and Baba Ragon and you live in the inner city, you won’t be unaware... If you don’t believe me, go ask Pika Sage."

"By the way, Pika Sage should be here as well? Let him come and talk to me, I have some business with him involving you."

After a while, a message came from the other side:

"Hmph, do you know who I am?"

Luigi instinctively asked, "Who are you?"

Seeing this conversation, Angel suddenly found it familiar... Isn’t this the replica of Doyi’s scene?

Indeed, the next second, the classic line from Doyi’s grand speech appeared on the paper: "It’s good you don’t know who I am."

Then, the paper disappeared.

Next, three new prompts continuously flashed on the display page.

"You have been kicked out of the conversation."

"You have been temporarily blacklisted by the ’Pirush’ store. While blacklisted, you can no longer communicate with the ’Pirush’ store."

"To remove the blacklist, please go to the headquarters of the Walled City gathering and apply at the Pirush envoy point."

As the prompts appeared, all products related to Pirush disappeared from the display page. This blacklist not only prevents viewing the Golden Silk Stomach Bag but applies to all Pirush products.

Angel initially wanted to inquire about the price of the Golden Silk Stomach Bag and get a glimpse of the Thunderous Eye, but now it seems that online queries are not possible...

"Me, blacklisted?!" Luigi pointed at himself, then at the display booklet, eyes as wide as saucers, frozen for several seconds, and then turned to Laplace: "When we get to the Walled City gathering headquarters, let’s go to the Pirush station first!"

Unless he settles the score with Pirush who kicked him out, Luigi can’t swallow this anger.

Angel looked at the infuriated Luigi, whose hair stood almost on end, and remained silent.

Though Luigi seemed pitiful, it had to be said, the other side truly had the style of the Pirush clan.

As for Luigi wanting to "clash" with him in reality, Angel fully supported it.

He previously thought this online shopping setup by Pirush was worth emulating.

But now he found a flaw.

If either the buyer’s or seller’s personality is too vile, there’s not much you can do online.

It’s better to do business with Pirush in person rather than online. Otherwise, these Pirush vendors truly don’t understand what "boundary" means.

While Luigi was cursing, Angel took the display booklet and flipped to the back page.

The back page was the Mirror Sea Scholar’s display page.

The Mirror Sea Scholars, also known as the Ancient Tooth Fairies, sold things that weren’t ethnic specialties but rather tangible items they "fished" out of the Sea of Void Mirror.

However, whatever is on the display page surely isn’t ordinary; it’s definitely the "big catch" they’ve fished out recently.

Angel was curious about what good things the Ancient Tooth Fairies could fish out.

"Secret Treasure: E. Kneel Flag"

"No picture, no description. For more information, please visit the Mirror Sea Scholar point at the Walled City gathering and contact Elder Seawhite Tooth."

The first entry didn’t have a picture, but based on the name, it’s a secret treasure in the form of a flag.

Even though Angel hadn’t seen every kind of secret treasure with his own eyes, he’d seen pictures in magazines, yet this was the first time he’d heard of a flag type of secret treasure.

What effect would this type of secret treasure have? A battle flag? Or a clan banner?

While Angel pondered, the display booklet suddenly lit up.

As the brilliance flickered, a large amount of text began to jump on the display booklet.

Originally ranting, Luigi curiously glanced over; even Laplace, who wasn’t very interested in the display booklet, looked over in confusion.

"What’s happening?" Luigi asked puzzled.

Just as Angel was about to speak, the text on the display booklet arranged itself into prompts.

"Major Announcement: The display page will undergo expansion."

"Expansion method: Take the display booklet to the Pirush station to apply for expansion."

"New special display page: Gosen Mirror Domain — Singer; Gosen Mirror Domain — Yusen."

The light shimmered for a full half-minute, and the text accompanied its emergence for half a minute.

When the light finally dimmed, the display booklet returned to normal.

Seeing this spectacle, not only Angel and his group but all the other races holding display booklets in the corridor were buzzing with chatter.

"The display page can actually be expanded? This is a first."

"But wanting to expand means having to go to the Pirush station, talk about unlucky."

"Gosen Mirror Domain? What is this place? Is it a new mirror domain?"

"Singer, Yusen, the names sound a lot like Gosen Mirror Domain? Are they powerful races in Gosen Mirror Domain?"

"Could it be that the expansion was specifically to open display pages for the Gosen Mirror Domain’s races? And they’re ’special’ display pages! These despicable Pirush not only have vile personalities but are also sycophantic!"

"Indeed, Pirush shouldn’t even exist."

Amid the jumbled words, the focus was entirely on the so-called "major news" about the display booklet.

No matter how the discussion went, the loser was sure to be Pirush.

As for the Gosen Mirror Domain mentioned in this news and its two clans: Singer and Yusen, everyone talked fervently but seemed to have never heard of them.

Angel couldn’t help but look back at Laplace.

Perhaps, Laplace knew something?

Laplace clearly understood what Angel meant. She conjured a barrier to cover the group and said, "Gosen Mirror Domain, like the Daylight Mirror Domain, is a mirror domain."

Laplace’s first sentence set the tone right.

The Gosen Mirror Domain is indeed a mirror domain, not a part of the Daylight Mirror Domain.

"However, I haven’t heard much about this mirror domain, but from the Sea Eye in the Sea of Void Mirror, items from Gosen Mirror Domain often surge out. Judging from the nature and energy level of these items, Gosen Mirror Domain’s ecology is largely the same as the Daylight Mirror Domain’s. But it seems they have more powerful forces over there."
