Chapter 3344 - 3345: Silver Forest Space

Chapter 3344: Chapter 3345: Silver Forest Space

Upon hearing Angel’s explanation, Luigi realized that he must have misunderstood.

Even if not all of the Cupheads were returning home, it should have nothing to do with rabbits.

Thinking of this, Luigi didn’t pursue the question any further.

Meanwhile, listening to the melodious music played by the Turul, Angel couldn’t help but recall what Luigi had mentioned about the Turul performing traditional music for the public in search of their homeland.

Angel listened to the music and did not find it familiar, but could it be possible that he associated the Turul with the Teapot Country because of the influence of this music?

Angel thought carefully and found it unlikely; even if he did rely on the music for association, it shouldn’t be the Teapot Country. He had never heard any music during his visit there.

Angel set aside his wandering thoughts and decided not to overthink. Instead, he said to Laplace, "There’s nothing much to do here, let’s leave first."

Laplace nodded, indifferent about whether to stay or leave.

However, Luigi seemed hesitant, not because he was enamored with the Turul’s music, but because the time had come for him to meet Uriel for an assessment and classification.

"How about I stay at the Dog House first, and meet you after the assessment?" Although the Dog House belonged to the Everything House, staying there was considered safe. Accessing the Crystal Origin of Dreams to meet Uriel for the classification seemed like a good choice to Luigi.

Angel had no objections; for Luigi, the classification was certainly the most crucial.

Laplace also agreed but offered Luigi another option.

Laplace: "You don’t necessarily have to stay at the Dog House; you could also stay in Silverson."

Angel was puzzled about "Silverson," when he saw Laplace’s long silver hair suddenly flow like a stream, extending and transforming into a silver braid swirling in the air.

In moments, the braid became solid and smooth, appearing like a "mercury mirror."

Standing in front of the mirror, one could clearly see reflected within it dense trees, with a long table faintly visible amidst the woods.

Silhouettes were moving around the table, resembling people gathered for a woodland tea party.

Angel, surprised, turned back to Laplace: "This is..."

Laplace: "Silverson. You can think of it as an independent mirror I created."

Simply put, Silverson space is an independent domain similar to Angel’s bracelet space, used by Laplace for storage.

Because it’s a mirror and contains a "forest," living beings can remain unharmed inside.

However, it is an independent mirror not connected to the Mirror Domain, so it lacks aggregation energy. In other words, although it can hold people, it can’t be used for cultivation inside.

And since Luigi intended to find a safe place to Enter Dream, no cultivation was needed. Thus, Silverson space was actually the most suitable place for Luigi.

Yet, upon seeing the elusive silver forest, Luigi sighed: "Do I really have to go in?"

Laplace said coolly: "You can also choose to stay at the Dog House."

After speaking, Laplace seemed ready to withdraw Silverson.

Seeing this, Luigi quickly called out: "Forget it, I’ll go."

As soon as the words fell, Luigi closed his eyes as if making a significant decision. After a moment, he bit his teeth and charged into the mirror.

After a ripple, Luigi had vanished from the outside world and appeared inside the mirror.

As Luigi entered Silverson, the silhouettes around the long table all turned their heads to look at him.

Luigi was startled by their turning, and he visibly stopped.

While Angel was curious about what would happen next, the mercury-like mirror turned back into strands of hair, slowly returning to Laplace’s feet.

"Let’s go." Laplace said calmly.

Although Angel had more questions, he didn’t raise them immediately. Instead, he nodded and complied, gesturing for Sipolov to follow.

Sipolov was evidently frightened by Silverson earlier, with a dazed look on his face, until Angel called him, and he quickly recovered and clumsily followed.

Once everyone was gathered, Angel glanced back at Little Red and Dog Deacon, who were still asleep: "Should we leave them a message?"

Laplace wanted to say that they could communicate through the Crystal Origin of Dreams without needing to leave a message here as it wasn’t a final farewell. However, she considered that what Angel cared about might be the etiquette rather than the message, so she nodded and said, "As you wish."

Angel snapped his fingers gently, and a sheet of letter paper appeared in the air, wafting like a Light Swan feather, slowly descending and landing on the table in front of Little Red.

The paper was already filled with words, all of farewell.

After completing all this, Angel turned and led everyone toward the exit of the Dog House...

When they came to the Dog House, it was Little Red who led the way. Angel initially worried that without guidance, leaving might lead to a wrong path.

Fortunately, when leaving, there was only one road. They simply needed to walk straight through the narrow passage to avoid getting lost.

On the way, Sipolov felt quite uneasy, mainly because Angel and Laplace remained silent, creating a very quiet atmosphere. He dared not speak, only following them with his head down.

However, Sipolov didn’t know that Angel and Laplace weren’t silent meaning they weren’t talking.

Their communication was through the Mind Ribbon.

"Is Luigi alright now?" Angel asked.

Previously, before Luigi entered Silverson space, Angel could distinctly feel his reluctance as if he didn’t want to enter Silverson space, even showing some fear.

Moreover, once Luigi entered Silverson space, the silhouettes around the long table inside the mirror all turned to look at him, making Angel curious about what exactly happened to Luigi inside.

Why was he resistant to entering Silverson? And who were the mysterious figures inside Silverson space?

Most importantly, Angel could clearly perceive through the Authority of the Gate of Dreams that Luigi had not accessed the Crystal Origin of Dreams at this time.

Since he didn’t log in, what is he doing in the Silver Forest space?

Laplace seemed to guess what Angel was thinking, and before Angel could voice all his questions, Laplace proactively said, "Don’t worry about Luigi, he’s afraid to enter the Silver Forest space simply because he doesn’t want to see one of my avatars..."

Laplace gave a brief explanation of the situation in the Silver Forest.

The shadowy figures Angel saw near that long table before were actually all Laplace’s avatars.

These avatars include the Elemental Avatar previously summoned by Laplace to help Angel open the Secret Ceremony Box, as well as the Ning Tai Avatar, Shadow Avatar, and Divine Blood Avatar.

Angel had already seen the Elemental Avatar, so there’s no need to mention it for now. The Ning Tai Avatar refers to a condensed Tai avatars, or Aggregation Energy avatars, a purely energy avatar filled with the unique Aggregation Energy of the Mirror Domain.

The Shadow Avatar possesses the ability of shadow transformation and can roam in the void; Laplace generally uses it for messaging. However, now, with the Crystal Origin of Dreams, its messaging function has been weakened.

The Divine Blood Avatar was created by Laplace through research on the power of deities. This avatar, because it is infused with divine blood, is unique, even leaning towards the concept of a Temporal Body, and cannot be restored if damaged.

The personalities of these avatars are similar to Laplace’s, but with different emphases.

For example, the Fire Element Avatar highlights Laplace’s passionate and fiery personality.

The Water Element Avatar highlights Laplace’s tranquility and depth.

Overall, the general direction of their personalities aligns with Laplace.

The only slightly abnormal one is the Divine Blood Avatar. Perhaps because it was infused with divine blood, this avatar’s personality has absorbed some characteristics from the original deity.

"The divine blood in the Divine Blood Avatar comes from a distant plane, where the gods are different from those elsewhere; the gods they worship consider practicality more," said Laplace, pausing as if considering how to explain.

"They have no elemental deities or war gods," Laplace continued, "instead, they have some more practical gods, such as the Agriculture and Pastoral God who aids in farming development, the Love God who guards the miracle of love, and the most worshipped, the God of Fortune."

"Additionally, there are gods like the Sea God who protects maritime transport, the Cleanliness God who brings cleaning abilities, the Library Guardian God who safeguards library security... In short, there are many deities here, but none are the grand gods we imagine."

Angel thoughtfully replied, "These gods cater more to the living needs of ordinary people, and not to fighting and arguing. From this perspective, it can be basically determined that this world should be quite peaceful."

Laplace: "Yes, that world is very peaceful, even to a strangely eerie extent; perhaps there’s some other reason behind it?"

Laplace shook her head, "Never mind, anyway, that world is too far away, there’s no need to think too much about it."

"In short, the divine blood in the Divine Blood Avatar comes from that world. And the original form of this divine blood is a ’God of Precision for Filling Gaps.’"

Angel: "..."

A God of Precision for Filling Gaps being worshipped as a deity? That’s absurd.

But on second thought, for people living in a peaceful world, most regrets come from unintentional gaps, such as a letter forgotten and not answered in time, an appointment they couldn’t make it to, an encounter they thought they’d have another chance at...

These gaps in life’s details often lead to irreversible consequences, perhaps even affecting a lifetime.

So, in this context, hoping for the emergence of a ’God of Precision for Filling Gaps’ seems quite normal.

Laplace: "And because of His divine name, it has influenced the Divine Blood Avatar’s personality."

Laplace’s Divine Blood Avatar is someone who loves to nag and check everything thoroughly to make sure there are no regrets...

Laplace: "And Luigi doesn’t want to enter the Silver Forest simply because he doesn’t wish to see the Divine Blood Avatar."

In fact, long ago, Luigi and the Divine Blood Avatar were getting along fine until one day, after Luigi wrote a poem in the Silver Forest, the Divine Blood Avatar changed.

The Divine Blood Avatar is a pursuit of ultimate perfection, while Luigi’s poetry was perfectly imperfect, which made the Divine Blood Avatar extremely uncomfortable.

She believed that being in the same space as Luigi could turn what was originally perfect into imperfect.

So, to fix these flaws, every time she saw Luigi afterward, she would have him recite his recent poems, and every time she found something unreasonable, she would make Luigi revise it again and again.

Laplace sighed lightly at this point: "You know, Luigi’s poem-writing skills..."

Angel nodded, he could already imagine Luigi’s miserable silhouette being revised over and over in the hands of the Divine Blood Avatar.

What’s more important is that Luigi himself didn’t think his poetry was bad, every time he thought he was making it better, it only seemed worse to the Divine Blood Avatar.

In simple terms, Luigi lacked self-awareness.

In Luigi’s view, the Divine Blood Avatar was being nitpicky; while the Divine Blood Avatar felt she was doing it for his benefit.

Thus, Luigi simply stopped coming to the Silver Forest, each taking their own path, since they couldn’t understand each other, they might as well not meet.

Angel nodded with some understanding, "So now, he’s being admonished by the Divine Blood Avatar?"

Laplace nodded, "Sort of, but I’ve already talked to the Divine Blood Avatar; Luigi needs to go see Uriel for classification soon. It shouldn’t take long before he’s released."

Poor thing... Angel silently lit a candle for Luigi in his heart.

...

Soon, they walked out of the long corridor and entered the affairs hall of the Everything House.

When they came earlier, the affairs hall was bustling with people; now, while there were still many people, they had mostly gathered in the center.

This was because, in the center, there was a circular screen divided into forty-four sections, each representing a display booth.

Whether it was trench coat-dressed investigators or the tuxedo-clad staff of the affairs hall, they were all gathered around the center, watching the display booth they were interested in.

Angel wasn’t too surprised by this scene; the two most important events of the multi-race regular gathering are the exhibition and the leadership meeting. Most people can’t participate in the latter, but the former is a festival for all. So, watching the exhibition is very normal.

What puzzled Angel a bit was, with all forty-four booths on the screen at once, wasn’t it chaotic? Also, how did they hear the sound?

Soon, Angel’s confusion was resolved.

Chaotic or not is another issue; they weren’t listening to the sound at all, they were all reading lips...
