Wizard: Building a Golem Legion From Zero

Chapter 568 - 552: Plunder the Terrifying Soul Law

Chapter 568: Chapter 552: Plunder, the Terrifying Soul Law

It was the same indescribable dimension, the same Law Star River stretching across the universe. But this time, it felt completely different.

If during his last advancement, Allen was like a drowning man surfacing for the first time, only able to passively gaze up at this magnificent scenery, then now, he felt like a fish swimming in this star river. He could vaguely sense the "currents" of the river of Laws and distinguish the "temperature differences" between the radiant lights of various Laws.

Allen’s consciousness stood in this high-dimensional space. As he slowly reached out to grasp the star before him, a feedback—a hundred times clearer than before—instantly surged into his Soul origin. Countless profound mysteries regarding soul structures and information transmission unfurled in his mind, layer by layer, like a massive unzipped data packet.

He had broken through.

His analytical progress of the Soul Law was forcibly pushed to an entirely new height. It leaped without hindrance from the first stage of "Touching" to the second stage—"Utilization"!

The reason was simple: using his own comprehension as the base code and a million Demon Souls as computational fuel, he had forcibly "matured" a Level 4 Golem. This project, which could be called a miracle in the Soul Domain, directly triggered an "achievement reward" from the world’s underlying rules.

"So... this is also possible."

The moment he opened his eyes, countless complex data streamed across his dark blue pupils. His brain, which constantly maintained high-speed operation, was now frantically deducing the possibilities of his newfound power.

"The core of utilizing a Law lies in ’interference’." Allen tapped his fingertips lightly against the desk. TAP TAP. "The Soul Law reaching the second stage means I can now deeply interfere with the soul structures of others...

"Since I can interfere with soul structures, does that mean... I can forcibly dismantle the Laws welded into other people’s souls?" he muttered to himself.

He had deduced a bold, insane conclusion. Using another Morning Star’s soul as a "container" to steal the Law borne by a soul!

This hypothesis was so appalling that it could completely upend the Wizarding World’s entire understanding of the Morning Star power system, but it was the inevitable result of logical deduction.

He knew he had to verify this immediately. And he just so happened to have a perfect experimental subject.

Allen’s gaze turned profound and cold as he snapped his fingers at the empty study.

SNAP.

The space violently distorted. Sargeras, the Demon Monarch who was doubly deadlocked by the Supreme Enslavement Code and the Nether River Contract, was forcibly dragged out of the Cybertron Half-Plane by an irresistible, mighty force, like a helpless chick being plucked by the scruff of its neck.

A demon’s intuition for danger was carved into the very bottom of its genetic code. A tremor originating from the deepest part of his soul caused all the scales on Sargeras’s body to stand on end.

"G-Great Master..." Sargeras’s voice trembled like a broken bellows in the wind as he prostrated himself on the floor. "Your most loyal servant is at your service at any time! I can also contact more Lords of Purgatory for you, and I can squeeze out more wealth for you..."

He frantically displayed his value, trying to beg for a sliver of a chance at survival.

Allen looked at him expressionlessly, his eyes seemingly sizing up experimental material placed on a chopping block.

"You have no value anymore, Sargeras." Allen’s voice was so flat that it didn’t have the slightest inflection. "Mammon has already become the exclusive general agent of the Cybertron Soul Coin in Purgatory. As a middleman, your historical mission has ended."

In Allen’s profit model, once the data reached Zero, it meant it was time for liquidation. Since the demon could no longer create commercial value, he was only left with his final use as a "Dawn Star Level dissection material."

The moment his voice fell, he didn’t give Sargeras any room to react!

BOOM!

Terrifying Spiritual Power, imbued with the second stage of the Soul Law, explosively erupted. It transformed into an invisible giant hand that effortlessly pierced through the Demon Monarch’s flesh and firmly gripped his Soul Core!

"No—! Master! The contract! We signed a Nether River Contract!" Sargeras let out the most miserable shriek of his life, struggling desperately.

"The contract stipulates that I have absolute ownership over your soul." Allen coldly stated the facts. "Therefore, how I dispose of my private property is none of the Nether River’s business."

In Allen’s newly advanced soul vision, Sargeras’s massive and foul soul was completely sliced open. Three clusters of radiant light, representing Laws, were deeply embedded within the depths of his soul: Evil Energy, Decay, and Fire.

Among them, the light of Evil Energy and Decay was the most solid and dense. Those were the Laws that Sargeras had completely "attained," having reached the third stage over his long years of existence.

"I’ll choose you."

Allen ignored Sargeras’s pleas that echoed through his soul. His gaze accurately locked onto the cluster of the Decay Law, which emanated an aura of withering and death.

His will transformed into a sharp scalpel, viciously stabbing into Sargeras’s origin along the giant soul hand. Aiming right at that cluster of Law radiance, he violently exerted his strength!

"AAAAAAAAAAH—!!!"

It sounded and felt like a spine being forcefully ripped out of a living person’s body!

The radiant cluster of the Decay Law was being torn bit by bit from Sargeras’s Soul origin by Allen’s power. It fiercely resisted, attempting to break free from this external force. But under the interference of the higher-dimensional Soul Law, this resistance was as pale and powerless as a fish pinned to a chopping block.

CRACK.

Accompanied by a muffled sound like the snapping of a cosmic string, that dark brown cluster of light was completely ripped out!

His wailing came to an abrupt halt.

That massive soul rapidly turned from solid to illusory, then collapsed inch by inch, and ultimately transformed into energy that was completely annihilated between heaven and earth.

A Dawn Star Level Demon Monarch who once ruled over Purgatory had thus been completely obliterated in both body and soul.

Meanwhile, in the material world, the extracted Decay Law, having lost its soul carrier, could no longer stably maintain the massive rule information it contained. It began to spontaneously collapse and condense inward.

A flash of light passed.

A thumb-sized Crystal Stone, taking the shape of a dark purple irregular polyhedron, appeared out of thin air. It quietly floated in front of Allen. The air within a few meters of it, and even the edge of the desk, showed visible signs of decay and aging due to its existence.

This was the automatic manifestation of a Law in the material universe—a Law Crystal.

"Verification successful."

Allen calmly stared at the crystal in his hand. This was the domineering ability of the Soul Law after its advancement. He named this new ability: Law Stealing.

At the cost of the complete annihilation of a Dawn Star Soul, he could deprive it of one of its attained Laws for his own use.

Of course, this kind of stealing was not without its attrition.

The deprived Law Crystal would undergo an irreversible downgrade. He could feel that the Decay Law contained within this crystal had already plummeted from the third stage of "Rewriting" mastered by Sargeras, back to the first stage of "Touching."

As for the other two Laws inside Sargeras’s body, they completely dissipated the moment his soul collapsed.

Even so, the value of this ability still could not be measured by Magic Stones.

A Morning Star Wizard could attain a maximum of three Laws in their lifetime. Allen had long since had a clear plan for his own three Laws, so he would absolutely not use this foreign Law on himself.

To Wizards of other factions, this might be a somewhat useless ability.

But Allen was different. He specialized in Golems.

Just because he wouldn’t use it himself didn’t mean his creations couldn’t!

Thanatos had already proven that a Level 4 Golem equipped with an "artificial soul" fully possessed the ability to bear and utilize Laws!

Pinching that crystal that emanated a terrifying aura of decay, Allen’s gaze instantly pierced through space and cast towards the hangar in the Cybertron Half-Plane.

"If... I give a Death God Golem that has mastered soul reaping an additional Decay Law, what would happen?"
