Chapter 727: Chapter 506: The Mindless "Happy Divine Kingdom

"Yes, Master."

Raylo took a deep breath and nodded.

"Before entering that Doomsday World, I did... come across some information that might be related to this."

Raylo held nothing back, recounting his discoveries in the Doomsday World and the anomalies in the Giant Dragon Realm one by one.

BOOM!

A violent wave of elemental energy erupted!

Elemental Tyrant Gregory could no longer suppress the rage in his heart.

"Light Deity!"

Gregory’s voice boomed like rolling thunder, exploding within the workshop!

"In my opinion, we don’t need any more proof! The one who destroyed the Heart of Arcane is the same Light Deity from our world!"

A towering inferno of rage burned in his eyes.

"That hypocritical, despicable, shameless thief! That robber!"

"Not only has he stretched his claws toward our world, but he even... destroyed another world that possessed a brilliant Magic Civilization!"

"Unforgivable! Absolutely unforgivable!"

Gregory’s roar also ignited the fury in the hearts of the other Legendary Mages.

As fellow Mages, they all felt a deep empathy for the complete destruction of a Magic World and its civilization.

"How arrogant! How... vicious!"

"This so-called Light Deity is the very same Divine Spirit worshipped by the Light Holy See in our world!"

Mage Delin said nothing. He simply closed his eyes.

He seemed to be processing this cruel truth.

A long time later, he slowly opened his eyes.

"Raylo."

He looked at Raylo, his voice somewhat hoarse.

"Thank you for telling us this."

"It has allowed us to see our enemy’s true face."

Raylo shook his head.

"Master, saying that is meaningless now."

His gaze swept over every Legendary Mage present, his expression more solemn than ever before.

"What we need to consider now isn’t how to be angry or how to condemn him."

"But... how to respond."

"How can we prevent our world from following in the footsteps of the Heart of Arcane."

Indeed.

Anger solved no problems.

And as the highest echelon of Power in this world, they had to find a way to deal with this crisis that had already lasted for a thousand years.

The entire workshop fell silent once more.

But this time, the silence was no longer filled with the previous confusion and unease.

Instead, there was a solemn and resolute feeling... the calm before a storm.

They knew that a war that would engulf the entire world and decide the fate of their civilization was now... unavoidable.

"A direct confrontation is definitely out of the question."

After a long pause, Master Delin was the first to speak, breaking the silence.

"The Magic Civilization of the Heart of Arcane world was incredibly powerful. They even had a World Destruction Level Guardian Giant Dragon."

"But even so, their final outcome was still... the collapse of their world and the extinction of their civilization."

"And we still can’t be certain if their opponent was the Light Deity himself, an avatar, or one of his subordinates."

Master Delin’s words, though cruel, were the truth.

Even the Heart of Arcane world, with its World Destruction Level entity, had been defeated. They had to take this threat with the utmost seriousness.

"Delin’s right."

For once, Elemental Tyrant Gregory didn’t argue. His voice, usually like a great bell, had become somewhat subdued.

"We can’t repeat their mistakes."

"Then what should we do?"

The old woman leaning on the Withered Wood Staff asked, her voice laced with deep worry.

"Must we just watch, helpless, as our world is devoured piece by piece by that thief?"

"Of course not!"

Master Wendel snorted coldly.

"We are Mages. We believe in knowledge and wisdom, not reckless bravery."

"Just because we can’t beat him in a straight fight doesn’t mean we can’t find another way."

"Since the Light Deity steals the Power of the World through ’faith,’ the first thing we must do is... cut off his foundation!"

A sharp, cold glint flashed in Master Wendel’s eyes.

"Uproot all of the Light Holy See’s influence on the Continent!"

"Destroy all their churches, burn all their scriptures, and make the very name ’Light Deity’ disappear from this world completely!"

"Without followers, without a source of faith, let’s see what he uses to steal our Power of the World then!"

Master Wendel’s proposal immediately won the approval of most of the Legendary Mages present.

It did seem to be the most direct and effective method at the moment.

However, Mage Delin shook his head.

"It’s not that simple."

He began to speak slowly.

"Wendel, you’re oversimplifying things."

"The Light Holy See has been spreading its faith on the Continent for over a thousand years. Its roots are planted deep in every corner of this land. From kings and nobles down to the common street vendors, their believers number in the hundreds of millions."

"To uproot it completely is easier said than done."

"It would inevitably trigger violent turmoil across the entire Continent—or even a full-scale civil war involving every nation and every race!"

He was right.

The Light Holy See was no longer a simple religious organization.

It was a behemoth possessing immense wealth, terrifying military might, and unparalleled influence.

To make an enemy of it was to make an enemy of half the Continent.

"That’s still better than sitting around waiting to die!"

Gregory said in his rumbling voice.

"Better to rip the band-aid off! Even if it triggers a civil war, that’s still better than the entire world being destroyed in the end!"
