Sorry, Our Captain Is a True All-Rounder

Chapter 208: The Two Sides Meet

Huang Bo Lin shook his head. A great battle was imminent; he had to hide Su Wen.

It wouldn’t be good if Lin Jingjing and her group found out.

He didn’t dare to imagine what kind of punishment his wife would suffer.

“I have to hide Su Wen,” Huang Bo Lin said seriously. “They absolutely cannot find her.”

But Su Wen wasn’t like his daughter, whom he could just send off to another planet with a casual excuse.

She was still deep in slumber.

And Huang Bo Lin didn’t trust anyone else with her.

For a moment, Huang Bo Lin was completely torn.

‘What should he do?’

Luo Zhuo, who was beside him, noticed his struggle and suggested, “This room is very well-hidden. Just let Miss Su stay here.”

“They’ll never notice.”

“Besides, there are traps here, and a bomb powerful enough to destroy the entire base is hidden. You don’t have to worry about them finding this place.”

To get to this room, you have to pass through multiple layers of security, and the door itself has a password plus traps.

If the correct password isn’t entered or the facial recognition fails, the designed traps will activate one by one and kill the intruder.

The attack power of these traps is immense; no one can evade them.

So, leaving Su Wen here is the safest option.

Hearing his words, Huang Bo Lin felt a little more at ease.

After tucking Su Wen in, the two men got up and left the room.

Everyone in the base grew busy, aware that a great battle was about to take place.

Huang Bo Lin wasn’t a completely heartless person. After all, he had more or less raised these people himself. He gave them two choices.

One, stay. Two, take a large sum of Star Coins and leave.

But these staff members were all orphans, raised by Huang Bo Lin since they were children. If they took the Star Coins and left, where could they possibly go?

Besides, they all had blood on their hands. If they left the base, they would only end up being captured.

So, most of them chose to stay.

Only a small minority who had married, had children, and formed new families chose to take the Star Coins and leave.

Lin Jingjing’s warship passed through the atmosphere and arrived at Blue Star. Standing by a window, she looked out at the familiar scenery, her heart a whirlwind of emotions.

‘She never thought she would see Blue Star again.’

‘This is wonderful.’

Feng He walked up beside her, and the two of them stood together at the window, looking out.

“It feels like coming home.”

“I feel so much more relaxed,” Feng He said, pressing his forehead against the glass, his voice much lighter.

Before long, the other three people had walked up behind them.

Thankfully, this window was large enough that all five of them could stand together and still take in the view outside.

They stood quietly at the window, no one speaking, until the warship landed. Only then did the five of them reluctantly turn and head for the ship’s main gate.

The enemy was already prepared. After their people disembarked, they saw a host of monsters standing in the distance.

The creatures stood packed together, a sight that made one’s skin crawl.

All of their people disembarked. Lin Jingjing and her companions stood at the very front, while Yun Yiyou was in the center.

Across from them, Huang Bo Lin was still wearing his mask. He was flanked on his left and right by his most capable subordinates.

The war Huang Bo Lin had long awaited was finally here.

He took a step forward, ignoring Yun Yiyou entirely, his gaze fixed on Lin Jingjing. “I have been eagerly awaiting your arrival.”

“And you’ve arrived just as I wished. I’m very happy.”

Huang Bo Lin said with a chuckle, and this time, he spoke in his real voice, making no attempt to disguise it.

He used his spiritual power to broadcast his voice so that everyone could hear. Those who had refused to believe that Huang Bo Lin was the mastermind behind these disasters now had no choice but to accept it as fact.

They could never have imagined that this gentle and refined philanthropist would do something so utterly insane.

Looking at Huang Bo Lin opposite her, Lin Jingjing also took a step forward and said, “Huang Bo Lin, surrender now. If you do, I can at least grant you an intact corpse.”

Hearing her words, Huang Bo Lin was somewhat surprised. He hadn’t expected that even at a time like this, Lin Jingjing would still think of leaving his body intact.

‘She really is a great humanitarian.’

As he thought about it, Huang Bo Lin burst into laughter.

His laugh was loud and shrill, making many who heard it feel uneasy.

After he finished laughing, Huang Bo Lin looked at her and said, “But I don’t need you to leave my body intact.”

“Today, I just want all of you to die here.” As he spoke, a ferocious light glinted in Huang Bo Lin’s eyes.

He raised his hand and waved. A man standing behind him immediately opened a large shipping container.

Once all four sides of the container fell away, they revealed a huge iron cage inside. And within that cage were many members of the Empire’s upper class.

There were men and women, old and young. Dressed in magnificent clothes, they were a stark contrast to their surroundings.

Upon seeing Lin Jingjing and her group standing opposite them, these people all began to scream wildly for help.

“Save me! Save me! I don’t want to die, I’m still young!”

“Whoever can rescue me safely, I’ll give you a billion Star Coins as a reward!”

Once one person made an offer, others started raising the price.

“I’ll offer two billion Star Coins!”

“Three billion!”

“I can guarantee you a life of ease, enjoying riches and splendor you’ve never even dreamed of!”

Lin Jingjing and her group stared at the giant iron cage. Imprisoned inside were all influential figures of the Empire.

Power and money were the symbols of their status.

‘To think that Huang Bo Lin had captured all these people in such a short amount of time.’

‘And without a single leak of information.’

‘How did he manage it?’

The group continued to clamor, their loud cries finally irritating Huang Bo Lin, who stood in front of them. He turned to look at the crowd, his eyes filled with disgust.

“You are all so noisy,” Huang Bo Lin said.

“You can’t handle it now that your status has changed, can you?”

“Well, when you were torturing my wife to death, did you ever think this day would come?”

“We’ve never met your wife! Even if you want revenge, you can’t drag innocent people into this!”

A braver soul immediately retorted.

“We didn’t do anything! Why should we have to suffer like this?”

“Go find the person who tortured your wife to death! You’re just taking your anger out on us!”

They were already trapped in a cage like fish on a chopping block, helpless to be slaughtered, yet they still had to say such irritating things.

Huang Bo Lin listened to them twittering on and on, and then he began to laugh.

“Of course I’m not taking my anger out on others.”

“Look. Is the Su Family in here? The Tang Family? The Xiang Family? The Lu Family? The Li Family…?”

“No, right? That’s because the people from these families are good. They haven’t done anything monstrous, so I didn’t have them captured.”

“You stand there crying injustice. Are you truly innocent?”

Huang Bo Lin looked at them with a mocking expression. ‘A bunch of pigs,’ he thought. ‘Even sending them to their deaths would be a waste of bullets.’
