Chapter 1256: Chapter 1256:- Crimson Bullet Chaos
Meanwhile, Malakor Harrington and the three Seventh Order cultivators from the Emperor Faction also heard the extremely loud explosion coming from another part of the battlefield. All four of them immediately turned their heads toward the direction of the explosion.
Even from such a great distance, they could clearly see an enormous amount of crimson flames rising into the sky. The explosion was so powerful that the ground beneath their feet trembled slightly, while a massive shockwave spread across the surrounding area.
However, before the three Seventh Order cultivators could properly understand what had happened, they suddenly sensed another powerful presence approaching their location. A few seconds later, all four of them sensed someone very powerful heading in their direction.
The man who felt like he had appeared out of nowhere was none other than Lou Han, one of Aditya’s most powerful servants.
Lou Han appeared and stood behind Malakor Harrington. He did not stand beside him because he respected Malakor Harrington too much. More importantly, this man was his master’s grandfather, so he had to be respectful.
The moment Lou Han appeared, the expressions of the three Seventh Order cultivators immediately changed. They could clearly sense the powerful aura coming from his body. What frightened them even more was that Lou Han was not an ordinary Seventh Order cultivator. He had already reached the Mid Seventh Order, making him considerably stronger than any one of them.
Seeing Lou Han’s arrival, Malakor Harrington slowly turned his attention back toward the three Seventh Order cultivators. A cold smile appeared on his face as he looked at the man who had arrogantly threatened him only moments earlier.
"What were you saying again?" Malakor asked in an extremely arrogant tone while taking a step toward the Seventh Order cultivator standing directly in front of him.
The man instinctively took a small step backwards. However, Malakor did not stop approaching him. Instead, the old man continued looking directly into his eyes, clearly enjoying the sudden change in the situation.
"If I’m not mistaken, you said something about the three of you going in three different directions and mass slaughtering our soldiers, right? Now, I want you to try doing that." Malakor said with a cold smile.
Hearing those words, the expressions of the three Seventh Order cultivators became extremely ugly. Earlier, they had been completely confident that Malakor would have no choice but to follow their demands. After all, there were three of them, and all three were Seventh Order cultivators. They had believed that their combined presence would be enough to force Malakor to release the Puppet Master.
However, the situation had now changed completely. All three of them were only Beginner Seventh Order cultivators. Although they were extremely powerful compared to ordinary Sixth Order cultivators, they were still far from being the strongest cultivators within the Seventh Order.
Malakor Harrington himself was already an extremely powerful Seventh Order cultivator, someone whom none of them dared to underestimate. And now, Lou Han, a Mid Seventh Order cultivator, had suddenly appeared beside him.
To make matters even worse, the three cultivators could also sense the presence of another Beginner Seventh Order cultivator standing several hundred meters behind Malakor Harrington. This was the other 7th order cultivator who came with Malakor Harrington to oversee everything.
This meant that the Anti-Emperor Faction now had three Seventh Order cultivators present in this area, including Lou Han, who was stronger than any of them individually.
Simply put, the tables had completely turned.
The same threat that the three cultivators had been using against Malakor only moments earlier had now become almost meaningless. If they tried to separate and attack the Anti-Emperor Faction’s soldiers, there were now enough powerful cultivators on the opposing side to intercept them.
Furthermore, with Lou Han being a Mid Seventh Order cultivator, there was no guarantee that any of them would be able to escape if a serious battle broke out.
Earlier, they said all three would go in three different directions and mass-kill their soldiers because none had the confidence of defeating Malakor Harrington. Together, they did stand a chance, but Malakor Harrington was not alone. He had another beginner 7th-order with him. Simply put, even if they fought side by side, they could not defeat Malakor. And now another terrfying monster possessing Mid 7th-order strength had appeared.
Cold sweat slowly began forming on the foreheads of the three Seventh Order cultivators. Their earlier arrogant expressions had completely disappeared, and none of them dared to speak carelessly anymore.
Meanwhile, Malakor Harrington was still holding the Puppet Master by his throat. The injured man’s face had already turned purple, and his legs were weakly moving in the air as he desperately struggled to breathe. Both of his hands were still gripping Malakor’s wrist, but his remaining strength was nowhere near enough to loosen the old man’s grip.
Malakor slowly turned his attention toward the Puppet Master before tightening his fingers around the man’s throat even further. The Puppet Master’s eyes widened in terror as he felt the pressure around his neck increasing. He desperately tried to draw another breath, but no air could enter his lungs.
The three Seventh Order cultivators watched everything happening right in front of them. However, this time, none of them dared to step forward and stop Malakor.
Only a short while earlier, one of them had confidently grabbed Malakor’s wrist and warned him that things would not end nicely if he killed the Puppet Master. But now, that same cultivator could only stand there silently, watching the Puppet Master struggle for his life.
Malakor looked at the three cultivators with an extremely cold expression as he continued tightening his grip. He did not bother hiding his killing intent, nor did he show the slightest concern about their reactions.
A few seconds later, the Puppet Master’s struggling movements became weaker and weaker. His hands slowly lost their grip on Malakor’s wrist, while his legs stopped moving completely. With one final, powerful squeeze, Malakor crushed his throat, ending the Puppet Master’s life.
Even after killing him, Malakor continued holding the lifeless body for another moment while staring directly at the three Seventh Order cultivators.
None of them said a single word. No one from their side dared to make a move. And none of them had the courage to forcefully save the Puppet Master from Malakor Harrington’s hand.
Meanwhile, several kilometres away from where Malakor Harrington and the three Seventh Order cultivators were standing, Aditya was continuing his attacks against the Emperor Faction’s army. After witnessing the destruction caused by his first compressed crimson flame bullet, he decided to continue using the same method to destroy the enemy’s backline.
Aditya slowly raised his left hand once again, and another small sphere of crimson flame appeared at the tip of his index finger. Just like before, the sphere was only about the size of a human eyeball. However, as Aditya continued pouring his mana into it, the amount of energy contained inside the sphere began increasing at an unbelievable speed.
After compressing a large amount of crimson flame energy into the tiny sphere, Aditya used his control over gravity to fire it toward another part of the Emperor Faction’s backline. The bullet travelled through the heavy rain at an extremely high speed before striking the ground in the middle of a large group of enemy archers.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
A massive explosion of crimson flames immediately spread across the surrounding area, swallowing hundreds of soldiers within seconds. The powerful shockwave destroyed the nearby defensive formations and sent countless broken weapons and pieces of armour flying through the air.
However, Aditya did not stop after launching his second attack. Another small sphere of crimson flame immediately appeared above his fingertip, and he once again began pouring his mana into it. After compressing enough energy, he fired the bullet toward another group of enemy soldiers.
Another massive explosion shook the battlefield.
And then another explosion followed.
Aditya continued creating and firing compressed crimson flame bullets one after another. Each bullet was aimed at a different part of the Emperor Faction’s army. Sometimes he targeted the mages who were preparing powerful spells, while other times he targeted the cannons that were constantly attacking the Anti-Emperor Faction’s soldiers.
Every time one of his bullets reached its target, an enormous explosion of crimson flames followed. Large groups of soldiers were killed, defensive formations were destroyed, and the Emperor Faction’s backline was slowly turning into a sea of crimson fire.
Meanwhile, Malakor Harrington and the three Seventh Order cultivators were watching the destruction from a distance. Although the heavy rain made it somewhat difficult to see clearly, the enormous explosions of crimson flames were impossible to miss.
The expressions of the three Seventh Order cultivators became increasingly ugly as they watched one explosion after another destroying their soldiers.
"What the hell is going on? Who is launching those attacks?" One of the Seventh Order cultivators asked in disbelief while staring toward the distant battlefield.
"Those attacks are coming from the same person! But how is that possible? The destructive power of those explosions is far too great!" Another cultivator replied with a shocked expression.
The three cultivators quickly used their powerful senses to find the person responsible for the attacks. When they finally discovered Aditya floating high above the battlefield, their expressions changed completely.
"Impossible! He’s only a Sixth Order cultivator!" One of them exclaimed in disbelief.
For several seconds, none of the three cultivators could believe what they were witnessing. They had spent so much effort preventing the Seventh Order cultivators from joining the battle because they understood how much destruction cultivators of that level could cause.
Yet now, right in front of their eyes, a single Sixth Order cultivator was causing the kind of destruction they had been trying so desperately to prevent.
The three Seventh Order cultivators had successfully kept the strongest cultivators from interfering in the war, but they had completely failed to consider the possibility that someone at the Sixth Order could possess enough destructive power to perform the same role.
And the worst part was that Aditya showed absolutely no intention of stopping.
As another compressed crimson flame bullet left his fingertip and flew toward the Emperor Faction’s army, the three Seventh Order cultivators could only watch as yet another enormous explosion of crimson flames destroyed a large section of their soldiers.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
