Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 2249: Little Monk Joining the Sect

Chapter 2249: Little Monk Joining the Sect

Explaining to the shocked how the Iron Sky Kingdom wasn’t the Star Shattering Sect, but instead just a small kingdom under the Star Shattering Sect, the little monk was understandably shocked.

After all, while the little monk came from the Western Central Region, he hadn’t ever seen any true major power before and was limited to the small temple he had originally been part of and spent his entire life growing up inside before. The cities they had passed through while travelling through the Southern Central Region was the only real comparison he had with the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom and even with that in mind, the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom didn’t lack that far behind from a glance.

Of course, the strength of the cultivators from a city in the Southern Central Region far surpassed that of the cultivators and disciples of the Star Shattering Sect inside the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom, but... There was no way for the little monk to understand this with his current limited strength. Making the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom look somewhat superior in his eyes because of how its overall size surpassed that of the final and largest city inside the Southern Central Region they had stopped inside.

And in the interest of blowing the mind of the little monk, Qing Yi and Chun Hua decided to spend a few hours looking around the Iron Sky Kingdom to see just how much it had changed since their last visit. Taking the opportunity to check out the different artifacts sold by the sect’s elders and disciples present inside the city. Only to realize that these elders and disciples were selling their artifacts for far more than what they would have gotten for them back in the sect.

More surprising than that, the wandering cultivators and other cultivators visiting the city were more than happy to pay what in their eyes were inflated prices compared to what they were used to seeing.

In the end, even Qing Yi and Chun Hua felt a bit tempted to set up a shop of their own and sell pills and different potions, something other alchemists of the sect had already done. However, before they could decide on something like that, they still had to first return to the sect.

Not just because they wanted to share what they had been through with their fellow disciples, but also to inform their master about the ancient formation they had encountered in the Western Central Region. Knowing the ancient formation might be of some interest to their master.

Last but not least, also get the little monk registered as a proper disciple.

Speaking of getting him registered as a disciple of the sect, the two of them were rather curious how a little monk raised in the Western Central Region was going to do inside the sect- and in the spirit of getting him into the sect as soon as possible, the small group of three soon left the Iron Sky Kingdom through local teleportation formation and arrived at the teleportation hub inside Falling Star City. Aware that even if they wanted to bring him into the sect immediately, they still had to first make him an official disciple of the sect.

If not, the guardian formation of the sect might end up treating him as an enemy, something they wanted to avoid if possible.

At the very least, compared to others who wanted to join the sect, the little monk would have a far easier time with Qing Yi and Chun Hua having already approved him ahead of time. All he needed was an elder who was part of the sect’s management to sort out his entry into the sect.

Luckily for the three, it wasn’t too difficult to find a management elder at the Falling Star City teleportation hub. After all, such a central node in the sect’s teleportation network had no lack of elders overseeing it.

Thus, after explaining the situation to the elder, the little monk was officially accepted into the sect as a disciple. The elder in question not seeing any reason to question Qing Yi and Chun Hua given who their master was and the fact that the little monk’s current cultivation was more than qualified for him to join the Star Shattering Sect. The little monk having broken through from the Qi Condensation Realm reaching the Foundation Establishment Realm.

"Ah, Elder Chu here will help you find your way around the sect and at the same time also introduce you to where you will be staying from now on. If you have any question later, you are free to come find me at any time." And upon finally stepping back inside the sect with the little monk and an elder in tow, Chun Hua had the elder in question help give him a proper tour around the sect while also helping him find out where he would be staying from now on.

"I understand! Thank you for everything so far, senior sister!" Knowing that this wasn’t an opportunity that should be squandered, the little monk quickly nodded his head in agreement before following behind Elder Chu as the two of them began walking towards the nearby disciple abodes where he would be staying in the future.

Of course, Elder Chu, who was also the elder that ended up helping them register the little monk as a proper disciple of the sect, didn’t help for free just because they were personal disciple of Xuan Hao.

On the contrary, the main reason he ended up helping the two of them was because they ended up offering him a rather sizeable sum of contribution points for this relatively simple job. Making him more than happy to spend a day introducing a new disciple to the sect.

After all, while most disciples and elders were struggling when it came to contribution points, Qing Yi and Chun Hua didn’t really have much to spend their contribution points on beside spiritual herbs for practicing alchemy- and that was hardly enough for them to exhaust the contribution points they had ended up earning over the years.

The main expense for most disciples and elders, the ascension realm tower, being free for them to enter as personal disciples of Xuan Hao. Not to mention most of their cultivation resources already being covered by their master, they had essentially turned into some of the wealthiest people inside the sect in terms of contribution points.

Not to say every single one of Xuan Hao’s disciples were this well off when it came to contribution points, as Chu Yang mainly burnt his on acquiring different unique combat techniques or persuading stronger elders to fight him. Along with the disciple he had just picked up, he was understandably one of the poorest. Only surpassed by Mui and Bai Ning, who both spend whatever contribution points they earnt the second they entered their pockets.

One buying rare spiritual metals and unique ores, while the other was busy buying whatever she needed for her next project.

The last two, Li Chi and Lu Dongli, were still new to the sect and hadn’t done much beyond cultivating since becoming personal disciples, so their contribution points weren’t that much different from that of normal disciples.

Not that Qing Yi or Chun Hua had any clue about this, as after sending off the little monk having made sure he would have someone help him get settled down in the sect as a new disciple, the two of them wasted no time returning to the Seventh Star Peak to find their master. Rushing back without wasting any time, as the two soon enough found themselves accidentally interrupting their master’s cultivation with their return.

"I see both of you are back. So, what is the reason for this... Ruckus?" Finding themselves face to face with their master, who looked less than pleased with how they had ended up intruding into his cultivation chambers without even waiting for him to respond after he lifted the simple barrier, he used to isolate his cultivation chamber from the outside world when cultivating.

"That..."

"So-something happening in the Western Central Region..."

"Y-yes! There was a reeaaaally complicated formation there that trapped us and it was in the process of collapsing when we escaped it- Ah! And it was some kind of spatial formation that twisted space and made one move along a seemingly endless path without end."

"Yes, some of the people we met even said they had been trapped for hundreds of years and heard about people trapped in there for thousands of years!"

And faced with this somewhat stern looking Xuan Hao, the two froze for a short second before quickly explaining what they had encountered back in the Western Central Region. Making sure to include the fact that the formation was related to the Dao of Space, as both of them knew that this was the Dao their master specialized in and was far more likely to garner his attention.
