Chapter 423 - 255: Hidden Soldier Map (Part 2)

Chapter 423: Chapter 255: Hidden Soldier Map (Part 2)

When something seems this unusual, there’s bound to be a scheme behind it.

Therefore, this group of pirates wasn’t likely here for a simple robbery.

’So, are these pirates targeting me, or is there something on this ship that could even tempt an Innate Grandmaster?’

Fang Yue considered it. He had offended quite a few powerful groups.

’Any one of them could send an Innate Grandmaster after me, but given my strength, they wouldn’t send one just to die.’

’So, their target must be someone—or something—on this ship.’

While Fang Yue was lost in thought, the pirates had already taken control of the deck.

Then, they herded all the passengers onto the deck.

Fang Yue was among them, of course. He wanted to see what the pirates were after, so he didn’t resist.

Blending into the crowd, Fang Yue calmly observed the pirates’ movements. His gaze was as sharp as a hawk’s, missing no detail.

The pirates looked vicious, but their actions seemed strangely methodical.

The pirate leader, a burly figure, stepped forward.

He wore a cruel smile, toying with a sharp dagger in his hand.

He scanned the passengers herded onto the deck and boomed:

"Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone! We’re just here for riches, not your lives. Hand over what we came for, and we guarantee you won’t be harmed."

At his words, the passengers immediately broke into a flurry of discussion.

They whispered amongst themselves, speculating on what it was the pirates truly wanted.

A thought struck Fang Yue.

He realized these pirates weren’t just randomly attacking ships; they had a specific goal.

Whatever they wanted was most likely on this very ship.

"Now, everyone get your valuables out! Anyone who dares hold back will serve as an example!"

The pirate leader immediately grabbed a passenger from the crowd and, with a sweep of his arm, hurled the person into the sea.

Hearing the pirate leader’s threat and seeing the passenger thrown overboard, the crowd on deck instantly fell into a panic.

They began scrambling to pull out their valuables, terrified they would be the next one thrown into the ocean.

Fang Yue stood amidst the crowd, his expression cold as ice.

He didn’t frantically hand over his valuables like the others; instead, he continued to calmly observe the pirates.

’He knew these pirates weren’t truly here just for money.’

’If it were only about riches, there wouldn’t be an Innate Grandmaster hiding in their midst.’

The pirates began to frisk the passengers one by one, their movements rough and savage, showing no regard for the travelers’ feelings or safety.

The entire deck filled with cries, pleas for mercy, and furious curses, but nothing could halt the pirates’ rampage.

Standing in the crowd, Fang Yue kept his gaze locked on the black-clothed pirate he suspected was an Innate Grandmaster.

He noted that this black-clothed pirate wasn’t busy looting like the others. Instead, he stood to the side, his sinister gaze sweeping over the crowd as if searching for something.

A thought struck Fang Yue; he realized this black-clothed pirate was likely the key to the entire raid.

"You two, take off your clothes!" Just then, the pirates reached Qing’Er and her sister.

Two stunning beauties were an irresistible sight for any man, anywhere.

"Doing it out here would be a waste. Take them to my cabin!" the pirate leader stepped forward, his eyes burning with desire as he stared at Qing’Er and her sister.

The two women were absolute treasures, more beautiful than any he had ever seen. Their skin was so fair and tender it looked like it was dripping with dew.

Hearing the pirate leader’s order, the faces of Qing’Er and her sister turned deathly pale.

They gripped each other’s hands tightly, their eyes filled with terror and helplessness.

The surrounding passengers were furious but dared not speak, able only to watch helplessly as the scene unfolded.

Qing’Er and her sister were immediately dragged into a nearby cabin.

’Hm? That man followed them.’

From his spot in the crowd, Fang Yue was surprised to see the Innate Grandmaster he’d been watching follow them as well.

Fang Yue frowned slightly. ’Things are getting more and more complicated.’

’An Innate Grandmaster Level pirate ignoring the loot to show such interest in one of the women... Something isn’t right.’

He decided to follow this thread and see what secrets lay hidden.

A thought struck him; things were likely more complex than he’d imagined.

So, he quietly followed them, slipping over to the vicinity of the cabin.

Inside the cabin, Qing’Er and her sister were tied to chairs as the pirate leader approached them with a lecherous grin.

He stealthily broke away from the crowd, determined to follow them into the cabin and get to the bottom of it.

"You two little fillies are quite the lookers. Today, I’m going to enjoy myself."

Inside the cabin, under the dim light, Qing’Er and her sister were tied to pillars, unable to move.

As he spoke, the pirate leader reached out to touch Qing’Er’s face.

Qing’Er squeezed her eyes shut, not daring to look. Tears streamed from the corners of her eyes. She knew she was unlikely to escape her fate today.

Just then, the cabin door was suddenly kicked open, and a figure flashed inside.

"Stop!" Fang Yue bellowed, his body moving like the wind as he rapidly closed in on the pirate leader.

The pirate leader, startled, turned to see a young man standing in the doorway, his gaze as cold and sharp as a knife.

A chill ran down his spine as he felt a powerful aura pressing down on him.

But he was a pirate captain, fierce by nature. He immediately drew the blade at his waist and slashed at Fang Yue.

"You’re courting death!" Fang Yue snorted. With a flicker of movement, he dodged the captain’s attack. He then thrust out a palm, striking the man square in the chest.

With a dull THUD, the pirate leader was sent flying backward. He crashed against the cabin wall, blood spraying from his mouth.

It all happened so fast that neither Qing’Er, her sister, nor the other pirates had time to react.

By the time they snapped out of it, Fang Yue was already standing in front of the sisters, blocking the pirate leader’s path.

"Y-you... Who are you?"

one of the pirates stammered. They were vicious and cruel, but faced with such a powerful opponent, they couldn’t help but feel a surge of fear.

"Just passing by," Fang Yue said calmly. "You shouldn’t have messed with me."

With that, he turned to Qing’Er and her sister. "Are you two all right?"

The sisters finally came to their senses and quickly shook their heads, signaling that they were fine.

At that moment, a vicious attack rushed him.

"So it is you! Hand over the Hidden Soldier Map, and I’ll spare your life!"

Fang Yue sidestepped, easily dodging the sudden attack.

His eyes narrowed as he looked at his attacker—the black-clothed pirate he had been observing, the one he believed to be an Innate Grandmaster.

The black-clothed pirate was tall with a sinister face, his eyes radiating a thick killing intent.

He held a long saber, its blade glinting with a cold light. It was clearly a fine weapon.

"’Hidden Soldier Map?’ What’s that?"

Fang Yue asked coldly. A thought flashed through his mind; he had already guessed the pirates’ true purpose.

The black-clothed pirate didn’t answer Fang Yue’s question. He simply stared at him coldly, as if looking at a dead man.

With a sudden movement, he once again launched a ferocious attack at Fang Yue.

The long saber moved like a dragon, carrying a sharp Sword Qi as it aimed straight for Fang Yue’s vitals.

Fang Yue’s eyes narrowed. Faced with the black-clothed pirate’s attack, he didn’t retreat, choosing instead to meet it head-on.

Moving like the wind, he expertly dodged the long saber and simultaneously threw a punch at the black-clothed pirate’s chest.

With a dull THUD, the black-clothed pirate was knocked back several steps, a look of astonishment on his face.

He never expected Fang Yue to be so powerful. A single punch had scattered the Primordial Qi in his body, leaving him nearly powerless to resist.

"Just who are you?" the black-clothed pirate asked in a low voice.

Fang Yue didn’t answer. He just stared coldly, as if watching the last struggles of his prey.

"You don’t need to know who I am."

Fang Yue said calmly, "Instead, you can tell me exactly what the Hidden Soldier Map is."
