He had heard of Great Fiends before. They were existences that managed to enter the Exalt Stage despite using Death Laws to succeed in their Law Merge, a feat that was considered crazy even if it was branded as an evil power.

He had also heard that the Frostcloud Sword Empress faced the Death Eclipse Autarch, a Level Nine Primarch whose prowess was two levels higher. He was one among the five Great Fiends, but was still defeated, controlled by the Vile Enchanter, and made into a puppet.

The Vile Enchanter had seemingly used that Great Fiend's death essence to make the Great Fiend's corpse or the Great Fiend's living soul a puppet.

In Davis's opinion, that was freaking terrifying.

Still, for one of these Great Fiends to appear here, he wasn't surprised.

There was Warsten Xsan in the Golden, a young lad who had seemingly awakened a death-attributed physique and was going slightly insane. Davis felt a bit tired.
