Chapter 2403 Crimson City's Massacre

Chapter 2403  Crimson City's Massacre

Hearing the white-haired demon's question, Yuan raised an eyebrow and spoke with an amused smile on his face, "Oh? You recognize me?"

The next second, he removed his disguise, revealing his true appearance.

Several gasps of shock could be heard throughout the group of demons there. It clearly wasn't just the white-haired demon that recognized Yuan.

"Heavens! Tian—!" The white-haired demons exclaimed in shock, his entire being trembling in disbelief, but he hastily covered his mouth before he could finish Tian Chenyu's name for some reason.

"How do you know me?" Yuan removed the seal and released the demon in his grasp before asking.

A nervous smile appeared on the white-haired demon's face as he responded in a somewhat hesitant voice, "I… I was at the Crimson City's Massacre. In fact, I was nearly killed there."

"Cimson City's Massacre?" Yuan mumbled, finding this term to be quite familiar but couldn't pinpoint where he'd heard it.

"That's the day you first appeared in our world and started massacring everyone without mercy like a madman," Supreme Ruler Dena's voice resounded as she and Lev finally made an appearance.

"Oh, right." Yuan muttered with a stiff smile on his face.

The massacre had occurred in the Crimson City, one of the largest and most populated areas in the Demonic Realm, and Tian Chenyu had caused so much destruction that the entire city was dyed in blood and reduced to ruin by the end.

Yuan looked at the white-haired demon and said, "So I almost killed you back then, huh?"

"It's not just him! A lot of us were there that day!" Someone in the crowd suddenly remarked.

"Let's not reminisce about the past, unless you want to take revenge or something," Yuan's gaze shifted to the demon who just spoke, causing their body to shake in terror.

"No, we don't want to fight you." The white-haired demon hastily said. "It happened long ago, and you had a fair reason behind your actions…"

He took a deep breath before continuing, "Please, follow me. I'll tell you whatever you want to know."

Yuan nodded and followed the white-haired demon to one of the buildings in the distance.

As they traveled, Yuan asked, "How did you know it was me?"

"It was a guess based on how powerful your Demon Sealing Aura was, as well as the fact that every other Sealer should be dead by now."

"...Why are they dead?" Yuan asked with a slight frown.

"They were hunted, of course."

"By whom?"

"The previous Supreme Ruler."

"I see…"

Yuan fell silent.

Though Tian Chenyu had never formed any deep attachment to the Demon Sealers, having taught them on a mere whim to test whether demons could wield Demon Sealing Aura, it still left a faint bitterness in his heart to learn they had been hunted to extinction.

As for the results of his experiment, a small number of demons had indeed managed to wield Demon Sealing Aura, albeit only in trace amounts, comparable to a human who had just begun learning it. Moreover, only those demons whose appearance closely resembled humans—those of so-called noble bloodlines—were capable of using it at all.

Once they were inside the building and seated in a private room, the white-haired demon spoke, "What information are you looking for?"

"Everything you know about Dena—Supreme Ruler Dena's situation."

"?!?!"

The white-haired demon's eyes widened with bewilderment when Yuan uttered Supreme Ruler Dena's name aloud without hesitation.

He jumped from his seat and used his divine sense to look at the sky, as if he was anticipating the Demon God's Wrath to strike them soon.

"Relax, the rules of this world have no effect on me, who is from another world." Yuan calmly said to him.

"So the Demon God's Wrath… won't appear?" The white-haired demon swallowed nervously.

"Not for me."

"I see…" The white-haired demon muttered as he took a seat again.

"Oh, by the way, I forgot to introduce myself. I am the Grand Abyssal Elder, the current head of this organization."

"You may know me as Tian Chenyu, but you can call me Yuan now. That way, you won't invoke Dremon God's Wrath by saying my name," Yuan said.

"I understand, Yuan." The Grand Abyssal Elder nodded.

"Now, regarding… 'her'. What is it specifically that you want to know? I don't know where to begin."

"Let's start with why she was removed from her position and exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley."

"So we're starting with the most difficult ones, huh?" said Grand Abyssal Elder with a bitter smile on his face.

He fell silent to ponder for a moment before responding, "Let's begin with who exiled her to the Deprived Crimson Valley. It was the 10th Supreme Ruler, so the one who replaced her."

"As for why…"

The Grand Abyssal Elder fell silent again, looking like he was hesitant to continue. He knew that Tian Chenyu and Supreme Ruler Dena had a good relationship, so he was worried that the information might not be something he'd want to hear.

"Just tell me. I can handle it." Yuan said, almost as if he knew what the Grand Abyssal Elder was thinking.

"I understand."

The Grand Abyssal Elder took a deep breath before revealing in a grim voice, "That woman… she was exiled because she devoured every living being in the City of Blood…"

"WHAT?!"

Both Yuan and Supreme Ruler Dena exclaimed in shock after hearing this.

The City of Blood was the largest and most populated city in the entire Demonic Realm, where tens of billions of demons lived. Moreover, it was also where the main headquarters for the Supreme Ruler was located.

If Supreme Ruler Dena had truly devoured everyone there, that meant she'd killed tens of billions of demons, a crime worthy of execution. Yet, she was merely exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley because she was too powerful to be killed. "She devoured everyone in the City of Blood…? That's…" Yuan's gaze shifted to look at Supreme Ruler Dena, who stood behind him with a dazed expression on her face.
